We’re down to the final 128 teams in this year’s instalment of the Members Cup as Gameweek 27 saw some big community names fall by the wayside including “Doosra”, “Back Back Ballack”s “dribbler” and “Gaz Downright”, among others.

“Evs”, now up to 20th spot in the overall rankings, navigated passed “CHUBBY” by a convincing 60 vs 41 scoreline but fellow big hitter, Jonah, slipped out of the tournament: despite being tenth in the overall FPL standings, he made way as “Dilley” put pay to his campaign by a narrow three point margin (42 vs 39).

Previous Cup winner, “Fuzzy Dunlop” is going strong thanks to a 40 vs 32 win over “DBREADY” but fellow Hall of Famer, “Kippax Kikkers”, departs the tournament, turned over by “BlzBob” in a close 38 vs 34 encounter.

As for the contributors, Paul continues to fly the flag – he made it through to Round Three thanks to a 46 vs 37 victory over Rossaldinho, as Big Dunc went out to “mcginley50”.

The draw for the next round will be published tomorrow afternoon.

Is Suarez really essential with Sturridge? Or do you just mean this week as an RVP replacement?

You must buy Bale. That being said, at his ever climbing price, better not wait to do it.

Cant really say Suarez is essential when we have Sturridge as a cut price option playing as Pools lone forward. Plus Suarez isnt the most consistent points scorer either.

Bale however, seems to become more and more essential by the week

I have Sturidge, not going to go for Suarez. I agree about Bale just have to fit him in some where.Should I get rid of Wally, mata or Mix it all up and get rid of RVP??

So that's like saying that one of RVP/Rooney are essential just like one of Sturridge/Suarez are essential. Given questions over Rooney, the template three most often includes Sturridge/RVP in many strong teams. Can't it be expected that many of Suarez's 30% + owners are dead teams too considering his early season prowess, thus making him more of a differential as opposed to the Sturridge/RVP duo

ya we do a keeper and salary league.... u have 150 coins to spend on twelve players and u can keep a player for up to 4 years if u like. for example i get derrick rose for 2 coins for 4 years where if he wasnt injured i could have gotten him for about 40. it is quite fun

      I'm more screwed than most I think;

I have Walcott, Mata, Bertrand (not that it matters), Afro, RVP, DDG, Aguero, Clichy, Demel all likely to be out.

      Thats 9 players 😕

I didn't come on here much during the 2 week break we had recently. Didn't see much point in coming on as you can only make one transfer.

During that time I missed the article and everybody talking about it.

Just transfer a couple of non-players for Sissoko, Suarez, Bale type players who you think will do the best GW29, don't field 11 and make the right captain selection.

Is there a stat out there that supports Suarez's strengths against weak opposition? Whereas other strong teams with world-class players often get lackadaisical against weak opponents, Suarez gets on a mission on his quest for the golden boot. Therefore, making him a predictable (c) choice who hardly disappoints.

The main reason i advise people not to captain Suarez is that he isn't playing up top on his own anymore. Sturridge could get the goals, and Wigan away isn't as easy as it sounds!

If all of the four Blanks Confirmed:
I will have four players with the blank & should make one transfer to field 11.
    Suggestions are welcomed~
    A)RVP(13.7)
    B)Mata(9.7)
    C)Walcott(9.0)
    D)Zabaleta(5.9)
    E)Save Transfer & field 10.

    If A,B,C or D....To Whom?

        I'm leaning towards fielding 10.
Anyway You'll have DGW later for them. So, is it worth 2FT to ship them Out & bring them in & the value you loose. Incase of defenders,it's more vulnerable...Can you guarantee points from Evans or anyother I'd bring in for Zab that week? I'd say NO.
So Fielding 10 should be the way 2 go...IMO.

I already did for this week.
1FT is enough for me in GW29 to field 11.
Question is to Ship one of them Out or field 10....Coz they'll have DGW anyway.

    Team for gw28:
    ddg (bunn)
    baines davies cueller (onouha harte)
    michu fellaini bale wally (maloney)
    rvp sturridge giroud...1Ft and 2.3m

For a change, i am not giving any transfer options as i have no idea what to do...i think city game will go ahead (any idea when we will find out?) so just do rvp >> augero? or giroud + fellaini >> augero + sisoko?

JT is a cancer to the club. One of the best defenders in the Prem but a cancer nonetheless.

Legend or not, he has to be a team player and work in cohesion with the manager. If Lampard can get benched for some games, he can as well. He has to man up and accept that fact.

Actually if Chelsea insist in keeping him, then probably it's a weak manager you need. Someone Terry can manipulate.

Here's a curious one. Why in the RMT tool does it recommend I start & captain RVP?

    C) RVP: 3.52 (lowest score in the starting attack)
    VC) Lambert: 4.67
    B1) Sissoko 2.94

So with the blanks and DGWs coming over the next five GWs or so, what's people's plan for dealing with it?

Make the perfect in/out transfer plan (for five weeks with no hits) or just go a bit hit crazy (4-12pts) in order to load up & dump as the DGW come & go?
