This is a Saturday morning cursed by uncertainty, even before we’ve confronted the void presented by the daunting Gameweek 29. With potential injuries and very real suspensions biting into our squads, few Fantasy managers will be approaching this morning’s deadline without at least one of two concerns rattling around in their heads.

Our Saturday Surgery chatroom is here to welcome those currently toying with quandaries, offering a platform to consult your peers in real-time as we get closer to crossing the white line.

With no early kick-off, our Dugout Discussion will follow around 2.30 but the preamble is limbering up before that – we rinse through the morning papers in just over half an hour.

    Really shifting captain around and it's agony!
    On Suarez at the moment choices of:
    Suarez, RVP, Bale, Lampard, Gerrard, Michu, Walcott, Baines.
    Would like RVP but risky game time, Bale obvious but that's a tough game,
    Liverpool are either going to win 5 - 1 or it will be 0 - 0!
    Any thoughts?

      me too I had captained Lambert but just moved it to Bale as the safer option - I think if you're chasing go for a riskier pick

        I'm chasing so most will capt bale so maybe I should gamble? Rarely seems to work though except Michu a few game weeks back

            It kindof depends how much you need to catch up in your league - as we're running out of games and if you need to reduce a big deficit then the 'risk' of captaining say Michu might be worth taking

          be a bit more patient, you should go into chase mode in Gw32 if you are still behind. Until then play it safe and hope your rival slips up

      im swapping between suarez and bale as we speak and will probably land on suarez by deadline. he's rarely let me down

      I switched from Suarez to Bale just now, my reasoning being that Wigan seem to putting on their usual great escape push and Tot vs Ars is usually a quite high scoring affair

          interesting, I see it the other way, the players usually lose their composure quite early in that fixture and it degenerates into an end to end slug fest. Both defences are leeky too.

        Because CL games are on that week, UEFA have to give approval for PL games that clash - likelihood that a game featuring United would attract too big an audience (SKY had selected it for coverage)

              It's tough one. None of them will keep a CS (probably). It's very hard to judge who'll get the more save points as well. Spurs is the team shooting the most in the league. But I can see a lot of shots from United too (especially Nani) who Bunn should pick up.

        1) To do giroud >> lambert or save FT??

        Three reasons why i want to save FT:
        - I have been planning on doing giroud >> augero for a while and i think the city game in gw29 will be played in midweek (no source) so will bring in augero
        - having 2FTs will be very handy next gw
        - i doubt giroud will get more points then lambert but RMT only has a 1point diff between them
