Man United dominate the ICT Index rankings with the performances of both Wayne Rooney of Shinji Kagawa catching the eye and leaving the rest of the Premier League in their wake. All that is, except Luis Suarez who goes on producing the goods and the goals for Brendan Rodgers’ men.

Our members can examine all the numbers from the weekend action via our tables, charts and maps but, as always, we’ve handpicked some of the most notable performers on show.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

depending on any late re-scheduling news and fitness updates, i'm looking at this -4 hit to field 11:

    Aguero + Mata + Kebe -> Suarez + Michu + Sess

if he's fit, i might keep him but he was on his way out anyway.

Sess offers so much more and the -4 could be absorbed as other ML oppo's are only fielding 8, 9 or 10 which is also throwing away 2-6 points.

          Forget your ML rivals.

You're spending 4 points buying a player whose returns have been iffy all season. There very little guarantee he will get more than 2 points.

After his 2 decent fixtures, he has 2 horrible ones.

So, Kebe's injury has spoiled the party somewhat though Pearce returning to the side has softened the blow.

Have 2FT. Going to have to go Kebe + Silva (if that doesn't go ahead) to Cabaye/Sissoko and Sessesgnon, I think. And take my chances with Cameron.

    Sound OK?

If you play him he will get 1 or 2 points. You will then be frustrated and bench him and he will keep a clean sheet. When you bring him back into your side, he will be dropped.

Rooney has been threatening to be an viable RVP alternative for a while now. Whether it will happen is another thing.

GW30 is a long way away, but it might be a decision you are forced to make if you sell RVP.

delete 'threatening to be' and leave it as 'has been a viable RVP alternative for a while now'

It's only that the vast majority had lots of value in RVP and a swap seemed too sideways. But now that many have sold (including myself) Rooney becomes that bit more enticing and convenient. Not to mention a massively explosive differential.

Once you have sold RVP, Rooney definitely becomes an option as you (obviously) have neither.

Selling RVP with the intention of getting Rooney in is a different matter completely.

Yeah, ok. For you he is. For RVP owners it's not quite so simple.

Selling RVP is a huge decision, one which you have already made and therefore don't have to factor in.

It's not really that huge, he has a blank next week. Perfect time to sell if you can and then assess afterwards. As I said in my original comment...I understand the reason why it's not as simple when you own RVP still. But the idea of selling RVP isn't all that scary when he has a blank.

    Lets talk Mata, worth keeping?

Three blanks is the first issue.

The stats show that he is fourth for penalty area touches which is positive however he is 23rd for attempts over the last 4 GWs for mids. Why is he in the penalty area and not shooting?

His chances created puts him 10th for mids however I am all in favour of threat over creativity in mids. If you get both it's ideal however creativity without the threat for 10m doesn't seem worth it even if they do have easy games.

Plus this whole Rafa thing means I think i might stay clear of Chelski.

    Discuss.

Surely it's not as simple as that.

His last 3 games have been:

        Rest against Wigan, brief cameo
Away game to City, most difficult fixture going
Home to stubborn WBA, stats decent, unlucky not to get something.

Is this not a bit of a knee-jerk?

Fair enough, but his shots totals were never huge anyway. He was extremely clinical while also being creative and having massive assist potential. Same as always. He's got history that can't be ignored. Sell him at your peril is my advice. Don't be surprised if he makes another explosive comeback.

I haven't owned him this season, although not through lack of wanting to.

I was close to getting him in my winter WC (GW25) but held off and kept Fellaini, allowing me to bulk my defence. It's worked out well so far.

I can see your point better about the hit when you explain it - Giroud IMO looks a liability at the best of times do maybe a hit is warranted , just playing leaves you on -2 so a goal brings you to +2 ...

yeah that's the trouble.... gerrard, siggy, coutinho, cabaye, sess, nzogers, michu the main mf options but not sure which to go for

bent? i sure hope you mean benteke! not sure cisse is as good an option as lambert benteke or lukaku and he's a good deal more expensive.... why do you think he's such a good option?

Kagawa hitting form at this time of the season would be great for United and he needs a good run of games so he could become a good FPL prospect and only £7.9m.

(Just tried to link my team - hope it's worked properly!)

Team for next week as it stands:

    Begovic (Federici)
Davies - Mariappa (Evra - Clichy - Azpil)
Bale - Michu - Puncheon (Mata - Walcott)
    Sturridge - Lambert (RVP)

    2FT, 0.5 in bank

Any advice?! I have no idea what to do. Thinking Mata -> Sissoko but with 1 transfer maybe?

So i can get 11 out without a hit, but it leaves me an overly healthy £6.9m in the bank if I do the most likely transfer of Mata > Sissoko.

I'm considering another transfer just to burn some cash. Noble > Cabaye doesn't look a terrible idea, as it would let me bench Clyne - who looks nailed on for 1 point. The alternative is to ditch Sturridge, but that seems daft as I expect him to play.

I'm holding a WC, so I can be wonderfully short term about this 🙂

How about this for a 4pt hit :-

    Mata>Sissoko

Currently fielding 8 including Kebe & Pearce - how many transfers would you make?

My concern is that I don't really want to lose RVP / Walcott / Mata but taking hits for defenders, blanks or otherwise, seems a little risky.

Currently thinking Fellaini, Demel & Baines out for Debuchy Sissoko & Another, pending Kebe injury news.

Dubious Goals Panel will probably review it, and may well come to the conclusion that it was an OG. But that will be weeks away and have absolutely no impact on the fantasy points, which won't change.

Looking at it, I don't even think the dubious goals panel will be petty enough to remove Mertesacker's goal. It might not have looked on target, but who is to say that it wouldn't have gone in anyway. It could have curled in, but it's impossible to say since there isn't enough flight of the ball evidence to tell.

Yeah, I have no strong conviction about it.

I guess it depends how their decision making process works - do they give the benefit of the doubt to scorers, rather than OGs? That would make sense since an OG is a negative on a player's record so should carry a stronger 'burden of proof'.

an 8 point hit in a single GW where there is only 6 games on is always a bad idea.

Depending on tonight's performance and injuries in the midweek games, I'm fairly set to do

    Mata > Sissoko
    Aguero > Benteke (2 FTs)

then, maybe maybe Sturridge > Suarez for 4 points (although I could always save this for next week)

    Bunn (Begovic)
    Harte Clyne Davies (Dawson Cameron)
    Michu Sissoko Kebe* Bale (Walcott)
    RVP Sturridge Benteke

Should I do 3 changes or 2? Fairly sure my rival will stick with Sturridge, if that makes any difference.
