Man United dominate the ICT Index rankings with the performances of both Wayne Rooney of Shinji Kagawa catching the eye and leaving the rest of the Premier League in their wake. All that is, except Luis Suarez who goes on producing the goods and the goals for Brendan Rodgers’ men.

Our members can examine all the numbers from the weekend action via our tables, charts and maps but, as always, we’ve handpicked some of the most notable performers on show.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    DDG - Bunn

    Dawson - Clyne - Davies - Zaba - Wilson

    Bale - Sissoko - Lampard - Michu - Walcott

    Benteke - Suarez - Rooney

Nothing left in the bank. Could do with some input here? 🙂

4.5ish for a top 4 side defender is a steal no matter the fixtures.

Lampard I feel as there for 'covers sake'. Benteke worth a shot for next two game at least. After the blank who will you bench?

          Well it'll depend on fixtures.

I know this'll leave me with benching problems every week but I'd rather have points on the bench the odd time than to not have them at all, if that makes any sense.

Chelsea have nice fixtures and Lampard is a decent punt imo. Similar points scoring ability to Mata who everyone seems to have and cheaper therefore giving you cash to upgrade elsewhere.

If the last time we were struggling to get a team out taught us nothing else, it is that quantity does not make up for quality.

Scrambling to take hits just to supplement your side with Reading players for GW29 is not recommended.

So true, not taking hits to field a full 11, when 9 to 10 can out score 11 if things go your way. Most GWs only 5 to 6 of your players, do the damage....ok 7 to 8...

Managers are massively overrated in importance in my opinion. AVB is not bad. He's also not a genius. I don't think there's much between most professional managers except for a few great ones, (SAF, Special One, Wenger). If you don't have one of them, the manager probably doesn't matter much.

Obviously I didn't list every good manager. My point is, when things go badly, fans want to sack the manager, and I think that generally it doesn't really matter who your manager is, unless you've got a great one. I also think that stability creates good managers, and not the other way around. As in, parr of the reason that Moyes and SAF have been so successful is that they've been at their clubs for a long time, and created a stable environment.

Moyes is good. Has a very good eye for talent. But some of it, even for the good ones can be chalked up to luck. Look at Wenger, I don't believe he's suddenly become an idiot, he's just made some bad transfer decisions, but that's going to happen if you don't have unlimited money.

Alright question then, we've got a time machine and we go back to the beginning of this year. Swap Bale and Walcott: Do you think Spurs are ahead of Arsenal? I don't. Swap Wenger and AVB, do you think Spurs are still head? I do. Obviously it's all just conjecture, but I think the importance of tactics is massively overrated in the modern era. Players make plays.

Going with only 9 players for next week:
    Bunn
    Davies Harte Clyne
    Michu Bale Puncheon
    Lambert Suarez

    Subs: Mignolet

No match: Rafael, Baines, Fellaini, Mata, RVP.

Only transfer could do is take out RVP??

    Help need some guidance
    Have 10 to play
Which one of Walcott, Mata, Van Persie or Stam do I use my FT on to put a full team out?

If its Stam, I have Wilson, Davies, Harte and Clyne already so only viable options are Mariappa or Fonte.
Which one is best considering I'd then be doubling up on either Saints or Reading?
    Thx

When considering Lampard, check the source of most of his goals lately.

If you think that the likes of Hazard, Mata and Oscar can keep the supply of this method of goalscoring up, then by all means, transfer him in.

Don't like making such early transfers but may be compelled to tonight. Is it fair to assume that the current prices between Fellaini and Michu could swing as much as 0.4m (0.2m up for Michu and 0.2m down for Fellaini) between now and next week?

Don't rate either that much, Benzema probably shades it

Before Higuain's bad injury troubles started he looked like an outstanding talent however, think he's one of those who could've made it to the absolute top but were unlucky and now might not.

I might be in the minority on here but I'm planning on keeping Mata over Walcott if I have to make a choice between them.

The alternative would be to keep both and sell Aguero for GW29 (if his fixture is 100% off)

So if you were to narrow it down to Aguero vs. Walcott. They both have difficult enough fixtures GW30.

Aguero has Everton away and Walcott has Swansea away.

    I could do

    Aguero > Lukaku/Cisse/Lambert/Remy/Sturridge
    or
    Walcott > Sissoko/Snograss/Nzogbia/Gerrard/Sessegnon

Which is the better move? Thank you!

If you see a brother in need, help him out.

It will cost nothing, and you never know when he may be able to return the favour in the future.

I would also keep Mata. The options for Aguero seem to be better than the options for Walcott. Also, Walcott hasn't dipped too much in form, and has Reading at home soon, as well as a confirmed DGW.

I don't think you're going to get a satisfactory answer to this. Aguero has promised a lot more than he's delivered so far this season whilst Walcott if anything has exceeded expectations. I don't even think fixtures are relevant with City this season, they're winning games but not really going to town with goals. Aguero has penalties, Walcott has set plays.

In conclusion, sell Mata. He's involved in 2 more comps that the other guys.

Hmmm, thanks Granville, but what about Mata's fixtures? They're quite tasty. But you make a good point. Chelsea are the only ones with rotation crap going on and Arsenal/City have no reason to rotate. That's got me thinking...thanks for your advice!
