As tomorrow’s deadline edges ever-closer, Fantasy managers are turning to a couple of bustling Belgians in their droves as we attempt to ride out a tricky six-match Gameweek. Second and third for forwards in terms of transfers in so far, Romelu Lukaku and Christian Benteke both look strong mid-price options with games against Swansea and Reading respectively. With five goals apiece in their last six appearances, the duo have been in prolific form of late – we cast an eye over their statistics in this latest article for members:
What's happened with Gaston Ramirez? Why has his game time been so sporadic as of late?
Open ControlsRamirez picked up a knock a couple of weeks ago and was recovering, think it was against Wigan?
Open Controls
Mignolet
Davies Clyne Santon
Bale Michu Sissoko(vc) Puncheon
Suarez(c) Lambert
how's it looking chaps? 0.5 in the bank, 0FT left!Open ControlsI really don't understand how Lukaku is above Benteke in the watchlist, especially when you look at fixtures, let alone stats.
Open Controlsand Lambert's form is the same as Cisse's after 1 poor game?
Open Controlsbut what do you mean "let alone stats" when Lukaku is statistically stronger no?
Open ControlsI think the stats can be skewed either way. If you look at total, or even per game stats, Benteke's better because he plays 90 minutes every game, which is a fair reason to prefer him. It's only on a per minute/per start basis that Lukaku is better.
Open Controls
I would disagree with you... but then I haven't looked at the stats, let alone the fixtures 😛
therefore... brb 😉Open ControlsLukaku doesn't even play 90 minutes 🙂
Open Controls
I don't understand why you don't understand ... 🙂
Open Controls
Does anyone think I'll massively regret not getting Suarez in this week? I have Sturridge.
Open Controlsas long as you have one of them you'll be fine. They support each other well.
Open Controlsso would you get Benteke instead? Trying to figure out who to dump Aguero for.
Open ControlsYep, considering you have Sturridge and RVP already I'd go for either Benteke, Lambert or Lukaku...they are the next three best options and good value too.
Of them Benteke has fixtures and nailed on ness. He is better at home.
Lambert is better away and nailed on.
Lukaku is the best striker of the lot, but doesn't have the same minutes and not so great fixtures.
Depends on your attitude to risk. Benteke - low risk.....Lukaki - higher risk.Open Controls
Just when I'd settled on Bentekkers that swine Demi throws Lambert at me.
Still my gut has been Benteke (c) all week, think I have to follow it.
I asked myself which player am I most scared of not owning this week, and can I get him in?
The answers were Benteke and yes.Open ControlsDo it.
Open Controls
Am I barmy, with a current strike force of Benteke, Lambert and RVP and be eyeing up the possibility of binning RVP in the medium term for Sturridge? Suicide?
Open ControlsKebe out for a couple of weeks. Sorry to repost, this was just a key piece of news for me. So maybe it is needed for someone else too.
http://www.readingchronicle.co.uk/sport/readingfc/articles/2013/03/08/87357-reading-fc-dealt-kebe-injury-blow/Open Controlsso so annoying. only brought him in for the favorable run of the last few weeks, and he's done jack.
Open Controls+1, I just needed him to get me 2 pts this week. But now I can take a crazy punt on someone I would never own, which is fun as well 😀
Open Controls
OK - Gardner, Ramirez or Puncheon? 😀
Open ControlsNone, can you wait one more week for Maloney?
Open ControlsNot if I want to field 11 this week
Open ControlsAnd, the player is gonna be bench fodder. Not keen on benching Maloney with his fixtures 😕
Open ControlsAh I see, you'll be too inclined to play Maloney, interesting, he is a nice sub to have, but yeah points on the bench may be a problem.
Can you stretch to Pilko? Norwich are at home this week
You could punt on Adel, N'Zog or Brunt?
What's the budget?Open Controls
Then don't bother, I like Maloney over all of them (Gaston was so infuriating to own) Gardner is reverse OOP so you're relying on pens. That only leaves Punch. I like Maloney as a pick, nailed on, heavy involvement on pens and some set-pieces and a DGW imminent
Open Controls
I am in the same boat, but please add McAnuff and Hoolahan in the mix for some flair 😀

Based on defensive stats alone, Reading - Villa should be a high scoring game....
http://members.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/my-stats-tables/view/2019/Open ControlsIm going to have a nibble at over 2.5 and 3.5 for that
Open ControlsI did that analysis....but have a look at attacking stats and reading are weaker than a new born kitten.
Of the two Villa have a good chance to bring in a haul, but only really have two effective attacking players (Nzog and Benteke) and only one of them tends to last past the 60 min mark.
I think Sunderland have the highest chance of scoring two or more this week. Its a bit of a crappy week fixture wise.Open ControlsIt's a case of the resistible force up against the moveable object 😀
Open Controls
Why's Bale captain so unpopular on here this week?
Considering he was very popular last week against Arsenal, despite other big guns having easier fixtures, why is it different when he's playing Liverpool, a worse side, in a week where lots of the top players aren't playing?Open ControlsLiverpool are a worse side?
I advise you check Liverpool's defensive record at home. A much better side than Arsenal in that respect.Open ControlsTrue, Liverpool's home record is very good, although against the top sides its not so great, 2 conceded v United, 2 v Arsenal, 2 v City.
Bale's record is also better away from home too this season.Open ControlsIt's been a VERY long time since those games have happened. I honestly don't see Spurs scoring more than 1 at Anfield.
Open Controls
They might be a worse side but are they a worse defence though?
Open ControlsWell you are wrong here. Arsenal vs Tott is probably the highest scoring game historically. Both play a high line with fast forwards, If Im not mistaken that fixture averages 4 goals per game in the PL and 5 goals per game last season. And Liverpool are not as bad as arsenal defensively.
Open ControlsLiverpool at home - played 14, conceded 19
Arsenal away - played 14 conceded 14Open ControlsActual stats:
Liverpool at home - played 14, conceded 12
Arsenal away - played 14, conceded 13
In other words pretty much the same.Open Controls
Just listened to the Podcast the RMT comp has sided with me and chose Gerrard and snody over Bale. Unfortuately I caved last night and got in Bale. Be prepared for a series of 1s 2s and 3s lads
Open ControlsHey guys, any suggestions for my team this week? Ive used a transfer getting Suarez in so any swaps will be -4.
http://i.imgur.com/wt73zIf.pngOpen ControlsIs it worth sacrificing Mata for Suarez if I already have Sturridge? Sureaz's form + fixtures are insane
Open ControlsI like Matas fixtures post 29. I wouldnt
Open ControlsMata is under performing looks tired and tends to get his best returns away from home.
You could save your FT & downgrade him to an alternative chelsea Mid or other dble gwk player
when the fixtures become known. currently arsenal is of course on the radar.Open ControlsI'm honestly too scared to go without Suarez, especially as Sturridge is struggling with his injury. Might just do Mata > Lamps in order to afford Rafael next week.
Open Controls
Santon or Debuchy lads?
Things on the comparison tool over the last 4 games are quite tight. There are points in favour of both players.Open ControlsWalcott, Mata, Fellaini and RVP being transferred out at quite a rate.
I have a feeling that the opposite may apply, as of 11:30 on Saturday.Open Controlshave sold 2 of the 4, not planning on having either back atm. No plans to sell Theo, gonna ship Fella next week, he has a ban coming which may impact his DGW potential.
Open ControlsWalcott and Mata stay for me, and I think RVP might be back next week.
Fellaini has tough fixtures and as you say, an impending ban.Open ControlsI'm getting Rooney over RvP I think. I'm looking at one of the 'ards or Oscar over Mata. Lamps is my preference right now.
Open Controls
Best 4.5 defender to bring in? One who also plays this GW too.
Open ControlsVery tempted by the strategy that is being adopted by some on here to transfer Mata out this week and bring in the fat one in after as Chelsea cover for the run in. Currently fielding 8 this week with a FT, so this approach would let me do Mata>Michu this week followed by Michu (or Felaini) > Lampard gw30.
Thoughts?Open ControlsAlreet lads. I'm looking at getting a QPR, Norwich or Villa mid as my go to bench option. Who's my best bet?
Open ControlsI know all my rivals will (C) Suarez this GW, but by following the trend I'll never eat into the 150pts I find myself behind the ML leader. Am I being too bold and downright idiotic by even contemplating captaining my most recent transfer, Sessegnon?
Open ControlsA - Podolski > Sturridge + Mata > Bale to field 8 players.
B - Podolski > Suarez + Mata > Bale + Fellani > Sissoko to field 9 players but with -4 hit.
A or B?Open ControlsNot helpful.
Open Controls
Hi all. Who do you think is the best value 3.9 defender Wilson or Baker?
TaOpen ControlsEnrique or GJ
Scouts article recently came out with GJ on top just, but at 0.5m different and Enrique's ppg higher I don't know.Open ControlsWhy?
Open Controls
Anyone else playing 5-3-2 this week?
Nope, thought not! 🙄Open ControlsAny news on Kebe´s injury situation?
Open ControlsNothing concrete, but it doesn't look good:

Alright, chaps!
Who would you prefer to have this week?
1) Lukaku
2) SissokoOpen ControlsBegovic, Bunn
Zabaleta, Evans, Wilson, Pearce, Davies
Mata, Michu, Bale, Walcott, Sissoko
RVP, Sturridge, Lambert
0.2m in the bank.
1 FT.
What is the best way of getting De Gea and Jose Enrique into this team?
Or is there something else you would do?
Thank you very much.Open ControlsBegovic
Harte Turner Davies Clyne
Michu Gerrard Bale
Suarez Lambert Lukaku
(Jaaskelainen Walcott Fellaini Demel)
I have 1FT and 0.9 in the bank, I wanna sit on this transfer for this GW. Would I be safe in assuming I have a starting 11?Open Controlsneed to go -8 to field an XI. should i play WC instead?
Open Controlssave wc loads will be taking at least -4 this gw
