As tomorrow’s deadline edges ever-closer, Fantasy managers are turning to a couple of bustling Belgians in their droves as we attempt to ride out a tricky six-match Gameweek. Second and third for forwards in terms of transfers in so far, Romelu Lukaku and Christian Benteke both look strong mid-price options with games against Swansea and Reading respectively. With five goals apiece in their last six appearances, the duo have been in prolific form of late – we cast an eye over their statistics in this latest article for members:

What's happened with Gaston Ramirez? Why has his game time been so sporadic as of late?

I really don't understand how Lukaku is above Benteke in the watchlist, especially when you look at fixtures, let alone stats.

I think the stats can be skewed either way. If you look at total, or even per game stats, Benteke's better because he plays 90 minutes every game, which is a fair reason to prefer him. It's only on a per minute/per start basis that Lukaku is better.

Yep, considering you have Sturridge and RVP already I'd go for either Benteke, Lambert or Lukaku...they are the next three best options and good value too.

Of them Benteke has fixtures and nailed on ness. He is better at home.

Lambert is better away and nailed on.

Lukaku is the best striker of the lot, but doesn't have the same minutes and not so great fixtures.

Depends on your attitude to risk. Benteke - low risk.....Lukaki - higher risk.

Still my gut has been Benteke (c) all week, think I have to follow it.

Then don't bother, I like Maloney over all of them (Gaston was so infuriating to own) Gardner is reverse OOP so you're relying on pens. That only leaves Punch. I like Maloney as a pick, nailed on, heavy involvement on pens and some set-pieces and a DGW imminent

I did that analysis....but have a look at attacking stats and reading are weaker than a new born kitten.

Of the two Villa have a good chance to bring in a haul, but only really have two effective attacking players (Nzog and Benteke) and only one of them tends to last past the 60 min mark.

I think Sunderland have the highest chance of scoring two or more this week. Its a bit of a crappy week fixture wise.

Why's Bale captain so unpopular on here this week?

Considering he was very popular last week against Arsenal, despite other big guns having easier fixtures, why is it different when he's playing Liverpool, a worse side, in a week where lots of the top players aren't playing?

Well you are wrong here. Arsenal vs Tott is probably the highest scoring game historically. Both play a high line with fast forwards, If Im not mistaken that fixture averages 4 goals per game in the PL and 5 goals per game last season. And Liverpool are not as bad as arsenal defensively.

Mata is under performing looks tired and tends to get his best returns away from home.
You could save your FT & downgrade him to an alternative chelsea Mid or other dble gwk player

I'll keep an eye on Mata. I like having the option to take him out for a DGW player like Santi or Silva too, depending on who plays and when.

If you can stretch to 4.6 Dawson and Saylor are options

Very tempted by the strategy that is being adopted by some on here to transfer Mata out this week and bring in the fat one in after as Chelsea cover for the run in. Currently fielding 8 this week with a FT, so this approach would let me do Mata>Michu this week followed by Michu (or Felaini) > Lampard gw30.

    Thoughts?

I know all my rivals will (C) Suarez this GW, but by following the trend I'll never eat into the 150pts I find myself behind the ML leader. Am I being too bold and downright idiotic by even contemplating captaining my most recent transfer, Sessegnon?

    A - Podolski > Sturridge + Mata > Bale to field 8 players.

    B - Podolski > Suarez + Mata > Bale + Fellani > Sissoko to field 9 players but with -4 hit.

    A or B?

Thanks all. Ive got a sneaky feeling that Villa will keep a clean sheet at Reading as I thought they defended well against City on Monday night. Worried that Baker will be dropped though for Vlaar.

    Mata, Michu, Bale, Walcott, Sissoko
    RVP, Sturridge, Lambert

    0.2m in the bank.

    1 FT.

What is the best way of getting De Gea and Jose Enrique into this team?

None. Play with whatever you have, no need to mess up your team completely just for one GW. Play WC for DGWs.
