There was a major shock in the Members Cup Fourth Round last weekend, as world number 15 and site regular Evs tasted defeat at the hand of Rodallega Bombs. His conqueror has form, though, and sits just inside the top 1500 so far this term. Elsewhere, former winner Fuzzy Dunlop is still in the mix after winning 62-54, Diz was the round’s highest scorer with 72 points earning him a place inside the top 500 overall, while Paul continues to fly the flag for the Contributors. We’re sorting out the draw for the last 32 behind the scenes and should have that with you tomorrow..

Personal tip, I think now is the right time to pick up Jenkinson. Sagna is injured, deteriorating with age and widely expected to leave at the end of the season having failed to agree a new contract; club and player are reportedly unhappy bunnies. Arsenal fixtures are good, they are near the top of the table for clean sheets and their CS are generally more predictable because they keep them through possession against weaker teams. DGW33 coming up. He's played fairly well this season and was excellent tonight against Bayern. Plus, he's 4.0 so what's there to lose? Enjoy if you feel like a punt.

        I looked at a double Chelsea this week - I felt that would allow you some flexibility going forward ie : mata or Haza > Carzola/kagawa/Silva or similar as the Dgw evolve.. There is some food for thought in it IMO

So some great progress on HomeCrowd (the comments system) today. With some extra styling on Friday, I think by midweek next week, we'll be inviting a few guests from the community to help test and give feedback on the first iteration. Once that's done, we'll do a stress test with more of you to optimise and asses the servers required and then look to roll out.

The first iteration won't have all the features. So profile pages, follow, ignore and the sticky widget are unlikely to be in from launch but, to be honest, I'm more concerned with getting it out and improving what we have. Given that it's our code, we can roll out new features week by week so we're feature complete within a few weeks of launch.

  I would say maybe Johnson/Enrique since you have your wildcard to get a double gameweeker in later. This week Rafael looks great, but then isn't 31 a potential blank, or at least potential rotation hell? and then there's the match with City, which I suppose could be low scoring, but if City are going to have any hope they'll have to attack.

Hey Unreal. I think you may have gotten under my skin last night. Any spare moment that I had today was spent thinking about Rooney instead of RVP and the flexibility the extra cash would give for GW33.
Another 48 hours of pondering ahead.
PS .. this does not give you liscence to unleash an essay 😉 all I'm saying is that I've gone from 95% VP to 75% VP.
