The Premier League have this afternoon rearranged Fulham’s home game with Chelsea, which was initially set to take place on Sunday March 10, to Wednesday April 17 – or Gameweek 33 to you and I. At present, this gives both clubs a pair of fixtures that week, with Fulham travelling to Villa and Chelsea entertaining Tottenham at the Bridge beforehand.

This news comes with a caveat, though. If Chelsea beat United in their FA Cup Sixth Round replay on Monday April 1, their Gameweek 33 clash with Spurs will be postponed due to Semi-Final commitments and will require a new date – this would leave the Blues with just one fixture in Gameweek 33, while Spurs would face a blank. The Spurs match would need to be moved to a new Gameweek as this was initially scheduled for the weekend. Bottom line is Fulham now have a double Gameweek 33 regardless, though.

As the fixtures fall into place, the Cottagers are currently one of four clubs that will definitely face a pair of matches in Gameweeks 33, with Arsenal, Everton and West Ham also playing twice. The loser of the Chelsea – United replay will also face a double, though if United win at Stamford Bridge their trip to Stoke – scheduled for Gameweek 33 weekend – will be cancelled, leaving the Potters without a fixture that week, as United travel to West Ham in midweek.

In other words:

If Chelsea win the replay, United have a DGW33 and Spurs have a blank GW33.
If United win the replay, Chelsea have a DGW33 and Stoke have a blank GW33.

With both Swansea and West Brom both facing blanks in Gameweek 33, our planning just got that little more intricate as we attempt to deal with the FA Cup fixture fall-out. Thankfully, the situation will be afforded a little more clarity come April Fools Day.

Considering Fulham for a DGW33, I took in Berba for Suarez as Suarez is on 9 Yellow and Berba in good form heading for a DGW. Plus I transfered out Bale for Cazorla. Preparing for GW33 already, what do you think ?

I can't look past Adidas world cup mouldeds. I've owned 3 pairs. They're just so cool - and not strictly a long enough stud for our soft pitches - so it means you can skid around like a mother, and when the ground does harden in the summer - you're still golden.

These are the guys I always wanted but never got round to buying... http://www.prodirectsoccer.com/Products/Pantofola-d'Oro-Football-Boots-Pantofola-d'Oro-Dream-Extra-Canguro-Firm-Ground-Soccer-Cleats-Black-22983.aspx

Hey guys a small update on the Fabianski vs Szczesney situation.

Fabianski is not called up to the poland Squad to face Ukraine even though third choice keeper Kuszczack is injured. The goalkeepers are Boruc, Szcezney and the 3rd keeper was Kuszczak is now replaced by Tyton(the man who also played second keeper for the Euros). Boruc has been the first choice player in the recent games, but that could have been down to Szczesneys injuries.

My personal opinion is that either Boruc or Sczcesney is the clear first choice keeper, at least for the future and he personally does not like Fab. Or he is just simply trying to avoid the extra attention. Too bad we could not see which of the 2 the polish coach prefers, but even Boruc starting would be a clear statement that Szczesney is not up to his normal standards.

IF United have a DGW in 33 I might get DDG and Boruc so that I have a playing back-up to DDG just in case of those Lindy medal cameos. if they don't I'll get whichever Arsenal keeper starts and Boruc and then bring in DDG later down the line

But I'll be on wc so the normal rules don't apply.

I personally have exactly the opposite situation, wont WC 100% if United have a double. I would probably make that transfer this week, that is why the extensive research into Fab continues 🙂 I could ride it out with Bego this week, but also have Luiz and really think he wont play this week so I want to get Baines for him.

I am Polish and I can give some updates here.

Actually with Polish GKs you never know which of them is actually a 1st choice for national team. Recently it was between Tyton and Boruc but mostly due to Szczesny's injuries.

There's quite big talk, who will play tomorrow vs Ukraine as he'll seem to be 1st choice for now. Today there was quite strange situation that media got access into the training session too early and they saw how coach set up a internal game. And Boruc was in the TEAM A, so everybody assumes that he'll play vs Ukraine tomorrow.

Good stuff, I did my research on some polish forums too. There was a surprising amount of english material. Everyone expects Boruc to play too, which to me is strange as I dont rate him that much anymore. Looks a bit past it, and if he is preferred to Szczesney I think that is saying a lot. Dont you agree?

boruc was dropped from national team by previous coach due to his behavior, but he came back when the new coach arrived, what made situation really interesting. There's no sure no.1 for now. Also Tyton has lost his place in PSV recently.

I think Szczesny should still be no.1 but he's quite uncertain and irregular. Boruc is close to him for me.

            Who is playing regularly?

Who will most likely be playing regularly in the future?

Surely this is all the coach considers. (and then picks the best from this short list).

no sure no.1 in the national team.

Media suggest that the one who will actually play tomorrow vs Ukraine will be coach's no.1 for now, probably until really fails, dropped longterm by the coach in the club, etc.

Everything suggest for now, that the one who will play tomorrow is Boruc...

    My plans before DGW 33

    Bego

    Martin - Demel - Zab

    Bale - Walcott - Michu - Sissoko

    Suarez - Rvp - Benteke

    Bench: Bunn, Punch, Harte, Davies

    GW 31: Sissoko -> Cazorla
    GW 32: Zab -> Mert or Bego -> DDG/Fab
GW 33: Michu -> Fellaini and Benteke -> Berba

    About right? Tia 🙂

If Chelsea do have a DGW is going with just Lamps and Azpi enough? Not sure I can squeeze Hazard in without sacrificing an Arsenal mid, and I like the look of Arsenal's DGW better than Chelsea, plus, their attacking mids are more nailed on

Yup that is the midfield I'm shooting for. I'll probably have that even if Chelsea have a SGW as no United mid is worth owning and it's less transfer further down the line.

So Giroud v Berbatov to take the Benteke place (barring a Suarez tantrum before gw33) up top also forces a Mert v Reither or Schwarzer v Fabianski decision since I will have Caz and Walcott. Right now am leaning toward Mert/Berbatov more than a Fulham defender -- like Berbatov more than Giroud and Mert more than any of the others.

I say definitely Berb over Giroud. Not because I dislike Giroud (he did well for me in their last DGW) but because you should have an Arse def for this GW I think, so Mert, Caz, Wally with Berb up front for me.

Aaaaaaahhh, I've made my bed and will have to lie in it. Last week I got Baines out (before he played City) for Wilson with the intention of getting him back in for the DGW. So currently for DGW33 coverage I've only got Walcott and Mata/(Rooney & DDG). Not brilliant but I'll just do my best to pick the best DGWers from here. Quantity over quality, he says...

What is everyone thinking of doing with Bale and Suarez in GW33? If United get the DGW in GW33, I'd have no United coverage at all, the only way to bring one in (Rooney) would be Suarez. And Bale, well I can get a midfield of Caz, Walcott, Lamps, Fellaini and Bale easily till then too. Quite a lot of DGWers for me already.

Suarez is leaving for Berba next week, yc or not, losing him is now key to funding my plans with Fulham's DGW now being in GW33. Bale is staying. If Chelsea win he'll have a DGW, if they lose, he still plays Saints at home GW36, which is better than most DGWs for the mids

Giroud, Berbatov, RVP, Rooney I'd say are the only ones I prefer over Suarez... may keep though if he survives the 10th yellow.
