Down to the last 16 in the Scout Members cup, then, and there are plenty of big hitters still in with a shout of the silverware. Seven of the current top 1,000 in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game have progressed to this point – two of those players go head-to-head, as Stewpot squares up to Eunuch Jelly, while Avenger, drakesdrum, fodowd, sbg and mcginley50 will be favourites to progress in their respective ties. The latter is the highest ranked player left in the tournament (155th overall), while former winner fuzzy dunlop will be hoping to capture the cup once again:

    I think I quite fancy Suarez or Bale for the (c) this weekend.

    One thing I'm bearing in mind is that Suarez plays tomorrow night in Chile (!) whereas Bale hasn't even had to leave Britain (game against Scotland, then at home to Croatia tonight)

    Then there's also the fact he's playing against Swansea in Wales...so he'll be spending most of the week chilling near his hometown and might be eager to perform (he was born in Cardiff so presumably he hates Swansea?)

      I was all set on Suarez until I read this. He has still scored 9 goals away against 4 rubbish teams which is pushing me towards him(3 against Wigan and Norwich, 2 against Qpr and 1 v Sunderland(Sorry Santi)
