A goal in each of the last couple of Gameweeks has brought Andros Townsend onto Fantasy radars over the international break. Since arriving on loan at Loftus Road, the winger seems to have firmly established himself as a key member of Harry Redknapp’s first-team – starting five of the last six matches, he has also chipped in with a pair of assists and received six bonus points in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game, averaging 6.6 points per game. In this latest article for members, we take a look at the underlying Opta statistics to see how he’s been performing and examine whether he really is a viable target for the fifth midfield slot in our squads.

So, in the end Mata barely played 15 mins in 2 weeks... surely he won't need rest for the next few games? Hazard more likely as he played two full games.
Open Controls-
Logic+Rafa= Rafatation
Open Controls -
I think it will be Moses + Bertrand + Oscar/Mata and Luiz + Ramieres/Lampard as your five midfielders. If Hazard gets a rest, you would think that Rafa will probably go with at least Lampard and/or Mata to keep some firepower on the pitch.

Couple of points :
1-Man utd had 5 England players starting , young 78 also as sub, Rooney/wellbeck played 90
Rotation alert .
2-Rvp played 86 minutes for Netherlands (4-0 win over romania)and scored twice (once last sat also) -Couple of interesting stats from that Dutch win - 14th qualifying victory in a row, Van Persie now has 17 qualifier goals in Euro and World Cup, level with Denis Bergkamp.
3-Rvp / rooney both scoring well for country ....Open Controls-
And the conclusion is? Only SAF knows. 😀
Open Controls-
4 - Chico playing tonight v USA in mexico so IMO Rvp will start on sat (c) not sure what saf will do with Rooney/wellbeck tho.

How do you know people haven't nominated you? 😉

I applied but I haven't got a story, so very doubtul I'll get chose.
So I'm planning to create a story for next year to make sure I get on. Hopefully they have the internet in prison othewise it will all be for nothing.Open Controls-

England were great first half, it wasn't the players. The tactics were off second half, Hodgson did not react to the Montenegro shift imo. Once they came more narrow Cleverley had no space to play, which makes him useless. That's why i hate seeing Cleverley played deep, he needs to roam up top where we can benefit from his creativity and passing. Buy i'm probably talking bullshit as usual, i'm not a professional football manager 😀
Open Controls-
It was obvious they were gonna come out steaming 2nd half and our players and the manager did not compensate for it.
That worries me. I think the ever Irish mental career breaking injury nut job Roy Keane made that point also.
Poor 2nd half performance by the players in a hostile cesspit of a stadium.Open Controls-
Yeah you're right, especially the description of Roy Keane.

If my country entertains any oligarch connected person as the next football manager of England I may as well give up hope and hang myself or take a radio active pill.
We may rejoice the fact that blood money spews itself across the English channel and can infect the very heart of our national sport. But even though we can sell certain clubs to European mafia men I get a sense of Bile rising in my stomach if that descends into our national game.
Give me a good uncorrupted English football manager for fooks sake.Open Controls-
Are you suggesting Hodgson threw the match?
Open Controls-
I'm not making any dispersions against Roy Hodgson.
I think he's doing a great job.Open Controls

I have a good lead in my ML and I don't care about my overall rank so I'm willing to take hits now.
Cameron,Punch,Theo to Mertesacker, Maloney and Punch for a 8 point hit?
OR
Davies and Punch to Mertesacker and Maloney for a 4 point hit?Open Controls -
Cazorla needs approximately 4,600 transfers in to rise. If the rate stayed the same he might make it to Friday without rising but I sense the rate will rise and he could rise in price Thursday night, I'd love if he made it to Friday without rising so we could hear about Walcott!
Open Controls -
Shouldn't this be be a Townsend vs Jenas article?
Open Controls -
what are people thinking about RVP –> Rooney?
Only considering it as I need to free up some cash to get Carzola. Was also considering selling suarez, but who the heck would I bring in for him?Open Controls -
I really hate the international breaks.. I leave my FPL team for a while, then come back to it in prep for the next GW, and don't have a clue what is going on.

Worth taking a 4 point hit to move from Walcott to Cazorla or is there a chance Walcott might go this weekend?

Still so frustrated with tonight's result 👿

Me too James. Just got back. Soooo disappointing.
I just did Fletcher -> Berbatov to cheer myself up.Open Controls -
You should try supporting the North - it is utter despair !! 🙂
Open Controls -
Take your mind of it, manage the doubles team this week.
Open Controls

-
Thought on having these are my 3 FT before the double game week:
Mata to Lampard
Lukaku to Berbatov
Michu to Santi CarzolaOpen Controls-
I always plan like this, but through one thing or another your situation and needs change, and so you end up wanting different players...

England's problem in my opinion is they have some talented players but they don't use them enough in games that matter.
Tonight I see that Gerrard had more shots than anyone else (Rooney had 5 to Gerrard's 6)
Now I know Gerrard is a great player but he's not really the world beater he used to be. So why not deploy him in a more creative role and play guys like Young/Chamberlain/Sturridge/Defoe/Baines/Lampard from the start.
They all just got to show off against San Marino and score 8 goals but then when it comes to the big games England persist with playing the likes of Milner/Welbeck when they are either not the finished article or just not as creative as the other guys. England need to play more attacking football that reflects the premier league style and not just nurture all this talent only to let Gerrard to take long rangers repeatedly because he's 'experienced'Open Controls-
I think you need a few red arrows in a row because I fear that you actually are starting to believe that you are a football manager.
Open Controls -
I don't know.........they just have so much talent at their disposal.
Open Controls -
Yer we/re gonna get more talented players soon_ like the lad who's been shunned into the back yard by a frustrated mum who's entertaining "Johns" from the neighborhood 'cause dad is wrecking himself after being laid off from the Ford Plant.
Akin to the Argentine street urchins from South America. We can get hungry too,
We may have talented players but It's the real hunger that will bring success.Open Controls-

2 problems
1) Luiz - i want to get him on the wc, but if Chelsea have a DGW in 33 and he hasn't been booked yet, he's too much of a risk. Might just have to get Azpi. (If Chelsea win i may risk Luiz)
2) Berba - Looks like he's going up tonight, but can't see that Suarez or Remy are worth selling for him.
What say you folks.Open Controls-
1) Would rather Azpi either way.
2) Wouldn't bother yet.Open Controls-
Fair dos.
If United have the double I can get DDG and Mert instead of Fab and Azpi, and have more GW33 doublers, but I'd have less GW36 doublers.
Tough choice, if I can afford it, i may go DDG and Azpi and forget Arsenal defence, we shall see.Open Controls

Ok so I now have 2 wc teams
1 in the case of a United DGW in 33 (which involves Giroud or Chica) and 1 in the case of a Chelsea DGW
I also have 2 sets of transfer plans
In short I NEED A LIFEOpen Controls-
FPL = Life I thought
Open Controls-
In that case.............
Someone get this poor lad an FPL team QUICK!Open Controls

That would be funny if you were serious 😛
Open Controls-
You can mail me them if you wish, i'm willing to offer constructive criticism...
Open Controls-
maybe later
I have to say I really need a United win, the attacking options are much more limited with United and Arsenal involved due to the fact that i can't afford to have RvP and Rooney, Giroud is cr@p and none of our mids are nailed on.Open Controls-
-
I'm ready for both, just annoyed I can't fit in Rooney and RvP if it's a United DGW. Your tv is also higher than mine, though if you can find a way, let me know. I'll drop you an e-mail tomorrow.

Rooney, RvP, Suarez front 3 in GW33 if United has a double could be so epic.
Open Controls-
I would kill my team. That is about 50% of my total tv gone on 3 players
Open Controls -
I doubt i'll be able to afford that.
United GW 33 DGW: RVP, Rooney & Berbatov
GW36: Rooney, Kone & Aguero.
United GW 36 DGW: RVP, Rooney & Kone.
GW33: Suarez, Rooney & Berbatov.Open Controls-
If United have a DGW in 36
Rooney, Kone, Aguero is what I'm looking at.Open Controls

Here's an interesting quiz.
After Bale, Mata, Michu, Gerrard, Cazorla, Hazard, Walcott, Fellaini and Silva (basically the usual big guns), without looking, name the next 5 highest scoring midfielders in FPL so far this season.Open Controls-
Sess, Snodgrass, Lamps, AJ, Pienaar
❓Open Controls -
Walters, Snodgrass, Osman, Arteta, Toure Yaya
Open Controls -

Lennon is the missing one. Was very surprised to see him there myself.
Just to confirm, in order:
Lennon, Sess, Pienaar, Snodgrass, JohnsonOpen Controls

Just working out the DGW options, for either FA Cup result.
It would be so much easier if United got through, I don't want a Bale blank or to worry about squeezing RVP back in. Also, realising that the Fulham DGW is definitely on has thrown me, I wish they had some decent midfield options.Open Controls-
Oh man...I am so hoping Man Utd win that game...a Man Utd DGW would destroy my team...I mean literally obliterate it 🙁
Open Controls-
I just did some sums. If Bale were to have a DGW, I'm 0.2 off my ideal team
really need both Theo and Fellaini to drop.Open Controls -
Dunno - Jonny Evans might be guaranteed at least one game .
Open Controls -
I have a contingency plan, but I'd be tempted to go -12 to really force a good team out.
If it's a Chelsea DGW, I can have a nice midfield, some Fulham cover and keep Bale and everything.
I just love how neither plan even acknowledges that West Ham have a DGW 😀Open Controls-
same here
I'd have to keep Michu over getting a Chelsea mid without those falls, and try and play the price rises to make up the difference.
As a United fan I'd also prefer us to win anywayOpen Controls-
For the sake of simplicity, I'd love it. I'd have to get Bale and Michu out, and I wouldn't have a clue who to replace both of them with. Fellaini and ... Nani?! Duff?!
Also, as a football fan I'd like to see Rio get an FA Cup winners medal before he retires.Open Controls

Not as good as FISO (was). Need a wider margin for error so assume he will...

Want to do Lambert -- Berbatov with 1 of my 2 FTs can afford to wait tho
