Sometimes, when in the presence of greatness, you can’t help feeling introspective. With Jonty rolling up with a very special “Full Jonty”, featuring none other than the current top ranked Fantasy Premier League manager, I cast my eye around my virtual dressing room with a feeling of disdain. What choice did I have but to gatecrash “Granny’s miffed”, reeling off my tale of woe as my once promising Fantasy season slips into oblivion.

As for our Full Jonty candidate, his story is quite extraordinary. Managing from down under, using reports, highlights and stats to steer his team, this guy sleeps while we fidget and flinch at every clean sheet lost. Get your ears around this valuable insight into a top manager, whilst listening to some rather average ones reel off another round of ScoutCast regulars.

Say g’day mate to this latest episode via this link, or avoid being flaming galah and stream it via the player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Judging by the pic, he'll be lucky if it's not torn ligaments. The ankle is designed to take a bit of the strain, but not that much.

Hold your horses guys, this is the type of injury where you think it's really serious but it just turns out to be a bit of bruising

AVB already confirmed he rolled his ankle, not as serious as it could be. Don't be suprised to see him turn out this weekend.

True, but this weekend looks unlikely even if it is a minor "roll"/strain and with a blank afterwards selling is probably the right thing to do, particularly if you do not have Cazorla.

From an FPL perspective that is the annoying thing for me. The guy leading my ML does not have Caz and still has Walcott. He would have struggled to squeeze Caz in, but not now.

True. I think i'm going to sell anyway though, as i also have Walcott. People without the latter are in a better position, regarding carrying him on the bench for a while. He won't play this weekend for sure.

my opinion is that he will certainly miss this weekend. If you've ever done as much as even bang your ankle you'll know how tender the ankle is, to have rolled it the way Bale did it will leave some swelling

IMO even if the swelling subsides he won't be fit for Everton. Secondary to this, Bale is Spurs' most important player, do they run the risk of rushing him back for the Everton game and making it worse, when they don't have a league game the following week, or to they simply to tell him to rest up and try and get him for City

He won't play on Sunday. As far as transfer decisions go thats all that matters for me. If you are in the luxurious position where you can cope with a double blanking 10m midfielder than you're a luckier man than me.

There is no way he is playing this weekend even if his injury completely clears up. AVB would be thrown the wolves. Also, blank next week and he is really overrated these days. Are you telling me Bale is worth as much as Torres? You gotta be kidding me

Did mine 3 weeks ago, achillies still hurting badly. That is why I am very pessimistic on that Bale stuff. While he is kind of a superhuman though 🙂

my (c) is Suarez (I don't have Lambert) I suggested getting him as 1 week pre-wc punt and (c) him, but the other captain wanted Bale. Now he must surely agree.

I have both Walcott and Bale and think i might as well lose one of them for Cazorla tonight.

I'd lose 0.5 on Bale, and nothing on Walcott, and am wondering how important that 0.1 on Cazorla will be.

    Any advice on which one?

Defoe rolled his ankle at West Brom a couple of months ago.

His one looked nowhere as bad as Bale's did, and he was out for 3 weeks.

I understand what you mean, but how a roll looks often doesn't tell the whole story. I rolled my ankle a few months ago, and it looked like a break due to all the bruising etc, but I was back playing within 3 weeks!

looking for a some feedback on what i would expect many of you are deliberating...

Walcott now has an outside chance of making the first fixture of the DGW meaning he is certain to miss this GW and, in light of Wenger's protective nature, is unlikely to get more than a run out vs Norwich where they shouldn't really require him.

I've missed the boat somewhat already. His value has plummeted recently and will continue to do so while i wait for updates ahead of GW33 - my margin on him has been reduced to almost nothing. I have .2m in the bank.

DO I SELL HIM - leaving me with a measly 8.9m (and -4 pts)?

If so, who do i bring in?

    A) Coutinho
    B) Osman
    C) Schneiderlin
    D) Arteta

    I'm leaning toward the DGW'ers (B&D),

(My other MF options are: Sissoko, Bale, Cazorla, Maloney)

Depends who you have already. I am tempted by Silva. Decent fixture this week and DGW at some point.

I wouldn't mind a punt on Hazard, but with no WC in my back pocket having two Chelsea mids would be madness.
