Southampton will consider themselves close to safety as Mauricio Pochettino continues to inspire some vibrant performances but opponents Reading are fighting for survival, with three points a necessity. Throw in the fact that the Royals’ new boss, Nigel Adkins, is facing his former club and we have ourselves a tasty scenario as our amouse bouche for the Gameweek.

Three more matches follow at three o’clock, with Norwich hosting Swansea, Stoke facing off against Villa and West Brom taking on Arsenal at the Hawthorns. Fantasy managers will perhaps be looking to that final clash in the main, with Santi Cazorla continuing to hoover up new owners this week ahead of his two fixtures in Gameweek 33.

    My reply of 'no' to Granville's suggestion of Rosicky was because if Wilshere is fit and ready to start by next week, which he should be, then Rosicky won't play 1 game, let alone 2.

        It was always a risk, but the bookies favour him to score this weekend and the ticker suggested it to me also. In order of bookies and RMT tool it was Sturridge, Mata, Remy... with Sturridge and Mata very very close

        But I reckon Di Canio will sacrifice defence for attack so I don't care who wins once its a high scoring game

      I was disappointed with just the assist from Lampchops but still grateful for the attacking returns. He's out on my WC though.

      Bentekkers...wasn't expecting more than a goal at Stoke. Pleased with that.
