The Saturday Surgery

Gameweek 32 is a strange, two-headed beast. In a way, Saturday provides the starter – serving up just four matches to get things underway, before Sunday’s main course presents a rich spread of heavy-hitters, culminating in Monday night’s delicious desert in the form of the Manchester derby.

While that particular tussle will take on less significance given United’s seemingly unassailable lead, us Fantasy managers will have plenty at stake as the season enters the home straight and mini-leagues officially reach “squeaky-bum time”.

Decisions made now are more crucial than ever, which is why we’re here to provide a real-time Saturday Surgery chatroom to ease your passage through to this morning’s deadline.

The Dugout Discussion pre-empts the early kick-off at the Madjeski, with a Preamble I prepared earlier on its way in just over half-an-hour.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Lots going with Hazard for captain then I see?

Got him in just for Bale, but now have Mata and Hazard, one will go next week for Fellaini. Hoping that I don't miss out on the points.

I have had my (c) on Sturridge all week, with my (vc) on Mata.

Now I'm thinking of sticking the (c) on Hazard. Even though Sturridge will definitely play unless he injures himself before the game.

Another question: Zabaleta (MUN - A) or Davies (NOR - A)

I was going to captain sturridge but now going in with hazard, rested for europa league and has been in on excellent form at home.

Leaning towards Hazard now myself mate plus I just got him in for Bale. Justifies using the 1 free transfer I guess if it comes of! Dont want that to be the sole reason for it though, but he has hit some form. Could get big numbers today, mind you a number of Chelsea players could as well as.

        Mata, Lampard etc etc

Stuck with Mata and Hazard for this week.

What you reckon on Zabaleta or Davies? I'm genuinely stuck on that selection. Davies is more likely for a CS, but Zabaleta scored last time around against United.

Decisions decisions.....but not the right time to be making them!!! :S

What makes you think studge will defo play? I have him and Im concerned he wont cos my bench is light.

I have the c on haz - haz only had 30 mins mid week - mata played more and is more likely to be rested imo

yeah he is going for distan this week.

just thinkin he might get something attacking today, if qpr are losing with 15 mins to go harry will stick him upfront and throughout the 90 mins he will be up for corners and wigan bad at defending corners.

vidic and man u a million times better, just cant see them keeping cs today, city have to win and vidic against kompany for corners is not good as samba against scharner of wigan.
