In Development – HomeCrowd Comments – Phase Three Testing

A third phase of HomeCrowd testing starts tonight and will likely run for the next 48-hours on our test server.

For those who have missed our previous updates, HomeCrowd is our new comments system offering new features such as user profiles, comment voting, hot topics, stickies and sorting by rating among other things.

This third phase of testing is set aside to test the code tweaks made after phase two, although there are a number of cosmetic changes that we’re looking to get feedback on – we’ve increased the spacing, added larger gravatars and generally brought HomeCrowd closer to the current comment system.

Depending on how this phase of testing develops, we’ll be opening HomeCrowd up to a bigger audience very soon and we’re hoping to target a “going live” date in early May to catch the final few Gameweeks of the season.

For those who have already got involved in our testing, you should already have an email in your inbox offering instructions on how to get involved.

If you’d like to take part in this phase and any future phases of testing, then drop us a line with your FFS username to homecrowd@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk. We’ll try to get you signed up and included asap.

        Its very common in real football...lots of footballers will have a strict lucky routine before matches. Beckham's famous for it. I'm sure there's fantasy managers who do the same. Be good to hear some tales.

          At least real football players have the opportunity to influence the match result on the pitch, and a superstitious routine might have some impact thanks to a pyschological boost.

          Anyone MIGHT be benched. That's part of the "fun" of this game. We just don't know and have to play the odds. Defoe MIGHT start, have a stinker and be subbed off. Kone MIGHT get injured after 2 mins. We don't know.

            yes, baines and gerrard might be benched too. but so far they've played every minutes of BPL this season. we're talking about probability and weighing up possibilities here. imo kone has better chance of playing both games than tevez thus better chance of scoring more points. i MIGHT be wrong and we both know that.

    Sports personality you hate the most past or present?

    Fraudley Harrison for me. Biggest coward in the ring I have ever seen. He is now talking about a shot at fighting one of the Klitschko's if he wins his next fight. The guy is a chump.

            I was very lucky with Suarez. Without a doubt.

            When I mentioned this (RVP) yesterday, the first time I did, I was basically called a troll for bringing it up. All I want is for RVP owners to know that they got absurdly lucky in the last two GWs, with 4 offside goals.
