Sunday lays on a pair of titanic battles with old rivals clashing head-on. It begins at Anfield where Merseyside rivaly reaches boiling point as Liverpool host Everton in the lunchtime kick-off. Fantasy managers will be looking the likes of Daniel Sturridge, Philippe Coutinho and, in opposition, Leighton Baines and Marouane Fellaini before our attentions turn to Old Trafford.

Sir Alex Ferguson and Rafa Benitez renew their stormy relationship at 4pm, as United look to derail Chelsea’s top four claims. With double Gameweek assets on show and Robin Van Persie still squatting in many a Fantasy squad, this one could round the day off with a flurry of points.

Our Dugout Discussion is now available for those seeking some real-time chat company while the matches unfold.

The team news from Anfield finds the home side unchanged – unsurprising given the performance last time out in the 6-0 win at Newcastle. Visitors Everton make one key change: Darron Gibson returns to midfield with Nikica Jelavic dropping out. Gibson’s return seems likely to ensure that Fellaini is pushed up against Liverpool’s centre backs, up in support of Victor Anichebe up front.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Ok just logged on here after watching game and thought the og talk was just wishhful thinking

Never even crossed my mind at all that was an og.

Really just typical of this game.
Oh well. Not even going to argue anymore as I now know the rules are that any pssible way tk do me out of points, they'll do it.

It's not typical of the game!
FPL exists because of football, not vice versa.
The goal was awarded by the Press Association as an OG.
Bookmakers will breathe sighs of relief etc.

That was an OG all day, every day.
Take off the Mata tinted glasses for God's sake.

wasn't even close to an OG. Jones deflected the ball closer to the goal, granted, but lindegaard also got a touch which pushed it further away. Net result it it probably ended where it was going in the first place. and yes I do have Mata, but it bet if you asked Phil Jones he doesn't want it

What player wants an OG?? LOL

"Wasn't even close to an OG"
That's why they gave an OG then??
You need to watch it again if you think that was on target.

Considering bringing back Fellaini for next week

How did he get on today ? , reasonably forward ?

Also I guess west ham will put Carroll up against him on set pieces who at least had the size to match him , wonder if that will limit his returns (can see a yellow )

To be honest, Arsenal should have taken their chances. In this game, it was 0-0 for most of the game but people saying Utd handed it to Chelsea is ridiculous. Played at the same intensity as against Arsenal.

Sure, intensity was pretty low in both games. The point is that they seemed to put out their best eleven versus Arsenal, but not versus Chelsea. I was expecting them to rotate in both games, instead of just one.

    Current Line-Up for GW37:
    De Gea
    Zabaleta Vertonghen Enrique
    Walcott Fellaini Mata Bale
    RvP Defoe Tevez
    sub: federici-maloney-samba-davies

Which one is worthed for -4pts?
    A. Federici - Szczesny (just worry with de gea's rotation)
    B. Defoe - Sturridge
    C. Defoe - Lambert

Nonsense. Manchester United have a list of registered players who are eligible to play in the Premier League. Who are you to say which of those players should play on any given day? When you win the league you've earned the right to field whatever team you like.

How many times are shots that are off target and tipped wider by a goalkeeper thinking it's going in credited as shots on target for ppi?

To categorically say that Mata's shot was going off target is incorrect, there is an element of doubt there, it is possible that the ball could have curled on target as it rose, we will never know.
But in this case, where there is doubt involved, the goal should be credited to Mata.

People who owned Bale were ok with Mertesacker getting the goal against Spurs despite there being a suggestion of a Bale OG.

There was enough doubt there to give Mertesacker the benefit of the doubt.

The same should be applied to Mata today. There is enough doubt there.

People who insisted it wasn't a Bale OG are the same people who are insisting Mata's shot was 'clearly' off target when it wasn't actually clear at all.
