The Premier League fixture list is now published and available for our perusal. We’ll be working on our fixture tickers throughout the day, with the aim to get these to you as soon as possible to offer a means of analysis of the opening six Gameweeks and, if you’re a member, the entire season.

Jose Mourinho’s second stint as Chelsea boss opens with a home game against Hull before the Blues make their way to Old Trafford in David Moyes’ first home match in charge of Man United. Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge clash with Aston Villa, scheduled for Gameweek 3, has been postponed due to European Super Cup duties – if this is moved to Gameweek 1, major investment will be on the cards from Fantasy managers.

Moyes opens his tenure with a trip to Swansea and also squares up to Liverpool at Anfield in the first month – a tricky start for the defending champions, who also entertain neighbours City in Gameweek 5. City’s opening three matches look enticing, though. Manuel Pellegrini welcomes Newcastle to the Etihad in his first game in charge before City face back-to-back matches with a couple of promoted sides – a trip to Cardiff precedes a home showdown with Hull.

Roberto Martinez’s first three games in charge at Everton suggest the Toffees could be quick out the blocks. Trips to Norwich and Cardiff, with a home match against West Brom, will afford plenty optimism from the blue half of Merseyside, while Liverpool have also been handed a decent start, aside from the home game with United.

The likes of Southampton, Spurs and West Ham all look strong investment options over the opening six Gameweeks, though Villa and Swansea have been dealt a blow. Paul Lambert’s side face Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and City in the first six, while Michael Laudrup’s men go head-to-head with United, Spurs, Liverpool and Arsenal.

We plan to focus on the schedule in further detail over the next few days, with a “Frisking the Fixtures” piece rolled out soon.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Ruddy + 1 since he has good opening fixtures and will hopefully be £5m.

If I find someone who rotates well, that will be a bonus.

    Some points worth considering.

After the first 3 GW's is the international break, so some players likely to return doubtful or injured.

Sept 14th fixtures are before first round of Champions League games, with Arsenal and Chelsea facing tricky away league fixtures that week this will affect likely line-ups.

      Define coverage 🙂

If you're talking about defensive coverage, there are a lot of good options, but most will go with Chelsea in GW1

For attackers 'coverage' is a nonsense term, imo. Doesn't matter what team they play for, it's about the individual.

Coming back after a long time to FFS (after end of last season) and the look and feel has greatly changed... Still trying to get the hang of the new comment system...

Looks like the Premier League fixtures are kind to Arsenal in the first few GWs... Am just wondering if Walcott will be classed as a forward / midfielder this season... Last season he did play out of position many times but in case Arsenal do sign Higuain like they are rumored to be doing then surely it will be Higuain and Giroud up front with Walcott back in midfield...

Chelsea also do have a chance of a great DGW1 against Hull and Villa and if they do sign Cavani he will be a must have... Just hope the rumors of Barca bidding for Mata in the Mirror are completely untrue...

Man u have a few tough fixtures in the opening 7. Can see them being mid table after City away especially having Moyes as manager.

With players who have won countless silverware. They will have exactly the same passion, that doesn't go away. The manager isn't as important as the players, not initially anyway but in time as the team evolves with new players that will change.

I honesty can't see them having the same motivation and it's an ageing squad in certain areas. If you sign a few big names United will be favorites.

    Morning fellas.

Wondered if anything was in the pipeline to allow voting posts up/down without it refreshing the whole page? It is incredibly frustrating as it takes you away from the post/page you were at and drops you somewhere completely different.

Could you not just have a counter that will increase/decrease the vote without the entire page refresh? Ta.

I am using IE8 from my laptop at work, so the old version may be the issue. Unfortunately I can't upgrade it myself. Will mail you the version string.

Pretty sure I've seen this issue at home using firefox. I'll recheck this later.

        Thanks guys.

WOW, feels like season has only just ended and we already have new fixtures to play with!!!

    ..

Manchester United: Swansea (A) Chelsea (H) Liverpool (A) Crystal Palace (H) Man City (A) West Brom (H)

    Chelsea: Hull (H) Man Utd (A) Everton (A) Fulham (H) Tottenham (A) Norwich (A)

Manchester City: Newcastle (H) Cardiff (A) Hull (H) Stoke (A) Man Utd (H) Aston Villa (A)

    Arsenal: Aston Villa (H) Fulham (A) Tottenham (H) Sunderland (A) Stoke (H) Swansea (A)

Tottenham Hotspur: Crystal Palace (A) Swansea (H) Arsenal (A) Norwich (H) Cardiff (A) Chelsea (H)

Everton: Norwich (A) West Brom (H) Cardiff (A) Chelsea (H) West Ham (A) Newcastle (H)

Liverpool: Stoke (H) Aston Villa (A) Man Utd (H) Swansea (A) Southampton (H) Sunderland (A)

    ...

With Tott fixtures it looks like Bale is a must as long as he is still there,
Liverpool also have decent fixtures, so Sturridge will be in my team,
Man Utd looking tough, though may bring RVP/Alcantara in for GW 4 for Palace, City, West Brom,
Chelsea an irresistible start at home to Hull, will have Hazard or New FW i think,
Everton also decent fixtures may start with 2 defs as would expect a few cleanies out of those,
BENTEKE – Arsernal Liverpool Chelsea and City in first 6 means i will stay away!!
City a lovely start also, will have Aguero

    Rotating Keepers,
Jagielka, Coleman, TOTT Def, Cheapie Cheapie,
    Bale, Hazard, Walcott, Cheapie Cheapie
    New Chel FW, Sturridge, Aguero

    Is that possible??
