The Sun Dream Team is now open for registration and Fantasy Football Scout are delighted to announce an official league, with The Sun offering a huge £1,000 prize to our winner.

Having had a few weeks to tinker with your starting XI, the serious business starts here. You can register your saved team, put together further lineups and create and enter leagues for the new season.

Select a free team and you can compete for £80,000 in prize money, but if you back yourself by opting for a Premium Package (two teams for £10 or six teams for £25), you’ll have more chances to win and be in the mix to win the full £500,000, whilst also earning the right to compete for the monthly game prizes, which make up £80,000 of the overall prize pot.

Joining and Creating Leagues

You can join or create up to ten leagues with any of your teams and set up your own leagues as you wish. The Sun Dream Team game offers real incentive to get involved – there’s a new Chairman’s prize pool of £10,000 available for those who manage to recruit ten or more managers to their league.

If you’re looking to join an ready-made league, you can challenge the likes of Ian Wright and Terry Venables with Dream Team allowing you to take on an array of celebrity managers.

The Scout League

You should also enroll in the official Fantasy Football Scout League, with Dream Team very kindly offering a £1,000 prize pot to the winner.

Once you register and create your team or teams, simply use the following PIN and password to enter.

League Name: Fantasy Football Scout
Password: ReWOZhn1T1
PIN: 8061654

You’ll find these details on the middle column of the homepage from this point on.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Current team:
    Mign (Marshall)
    Cole, Coleman, Riether (Brayford, Parr)
Hazard (C), Silva, Lallana, Wilshere, Mirallas
    RVP, Anelka, (Agbonlahor?)

    What is the better option:
    a) A £4.5m keeper who starts and a £7.5m striker
    b) A bench £4.0m keeper & an £8.0m striker

Help much appreciated and names would be good too

If you have Mign, a £4m keeper. I still think there is more value in a rotating pair though. Since Lukaku has the DGW I would go with b) and then downgrade to a £7.5m ATT in GW2.

First attempt at a team without either Bale or RVP:

    Boruc, Mannone
    Zabaleta, Coleman, Sagna, Chester, Collins
    Coutinho, Walcott, Nolan, Hazard, Snodgrass
    Lukaku, Rodriguez, Soldado

    Mignolet (4.0)
    GJ. Luiz. Coleman (Shaw. Turner)
    Silva. Coutinho. Walcott. Hazard (Morrison)
    Anelka. Soldado. Lukaku

Clearly one glaring omission and intentionally doubling up on Pool DF

B for me, although admittedly it's close. I prefer not to have a dilemma with keepers, as I invariably choose the wrong one. And an extra 0.5 for your front 8 is always handy. Others may disagree, however.

He'll score points wherever he is. Too pricey for me though.

Torres has the potential to do well under Mourinho (especially given his comments on him the other day) but I wouldn't bother.

No, he was deep most of last season and was deep again on Saturday. He does have penalties to fall back on but I would probably rather Coutinho or Sturridge.

he was deep the majority of last season, the latter half especially when joe allen got the chop and was injured.

the reason i prefer coutinho to gerrard for example is if liverpool go 10 matches without a penalty which is very possible gerrard's value drops dramatically, whilst coutinho is more balanced and arguably predictable as a result

Good point, just fearing coutinho's 2nd season won't be as amazing as everyone thinks.. but im already taking a few risks, so may play safe on coutinho over gerrard.

He will play in the double pivot role mostly. He will get some game time in the hole but that will most likely be against the strongest opposition and away when his points are limited. Once Coutinho came in he moved further back and back and our attempted marquee signings so far are all attacking/hole players. He will still get good points but Coutinho all the way for me if you aren't getting Sturridge or if you want to double up on Liverpool attackers.

Nolan and then BArfa for me but not sure about the latter due to potential formation change with Remy in and maybe even Gomis.

I am thoroughly confused about who will play in Chelsea's defence for the first game. Just read on one site that it would be

Azpi - Ivanovic - Luiz - Cole (does Ivan play CB)

I think the lineup for the season will be (or should be)

    Azpi - Cahill - Luiz - Cole

If Mourinho says that Spanish players are not playing due to the International game then we might have:

    Ivan - Cahill - Luiz - Cole ~or~ Ivan - Terry - Luiz - Cole

If Luiz is injured, or sold this summer, and Azpi doesn't play due to International then maybe:

    Ivan - Cahill - Terry - Cole

Confused? I am! All we can know for sure, is that Cole will play

couple od points i'd make is cbs don't really need rests. it's only really cases like vidic last season or even terry when players are coming back from knee ligament injuries that it makes sense.

also yes you'd imagine the spain friendly makes azpi a huge doubt for the hull match, there is still another game though for him to ruin ivanovic's prospects, just as ivanovic looks set to ruin his. the spain ecuador friendly shouldn't have an impact on the villa match

    1) Aguero or Silva?

    2) Sturidge or Coutinho?

Dzeko playing well just makes things more complicated regarding MC forwards and Silva seems the most nailed on in the mid, so Im leaning towards Silva plus he is only 9.0.

The 2nd one I have NO idea what to do, both look nailed on and should do well and both are 9.0.

I think he's a fantastic option maybe even better than Snoddy, goal machine in the under 21s and that was usually from 10 minutes off the bench

Chances of Aguero starting Cardiff game?

Lukaku > Aguero shouts out at me

2 weeks of full training, probable sub appearance against Newcastle, they will want to get him up to match fitness.

Get Dzeko I hear you say, he's the main striker! Yes I think Dzeko is the best option for GW1 and 2 but I can really see Negredo getting his first start V Hull GW3.
