No thrills. Few spills. Just two men in a room talking about Fantasy Football.

Granville and I handed Jonty and the “Professor†an extended pre-season and rolled the ScoutCast back to its rawest form. Just myself and the Mancunian sharing our thoughts after a summer break and looking forward to another Fantasy campaign.

We talk double Gameweek assets, I roll out the van Persie duvet, Granville reveals more than he should about his team lineup and, around all that, we assess the early bandwagons and preview the weekend fixtures.

Forty-five minutes of two blokes talking about the stuff that’s rattling around in most of our heads right now.

      Yaya is a rubbish shout. Paulinho and Kagawa are far too risky. Don't like your backline at all, or your goalkeepers.

          I'd downgrade Coutinho and possibly upgrade Anelka.

    Seriosuly considering going Oscar over Hazard - mainly because I think they will get comparable minutes and I really think the kid is gem but I have Ramires - just wondering if I'm getting too punty.

      Looks very nice. I'm still skeptical on Coleman and Mirallas as a pair. I'd maybe recommend going with Nolan at 7.0 then putting extra .5 into Mert or Kos at 5.5.

    Do people think Williams (Palace) is nailed on? He only got 11 league starts last season which worries me. Who is his competition?

    Or is the much more nailed on Jedinak a better option?

    PS. Doosra, Tiote's record for Newcastle : 78 starts, 38 yellows, 2 reds and a single goal!

      bent is only a striker, so if they're both to play, berbatov has to withdraw a bit. doesn't necessarily mean he'll get less points though. ruiz could be the real loser here, but maybe they'd find a place for him on wing.

    Why are people going for 4.5m midfielders?! Just look at how much rotation there was last year.

    You really need a Kim as a bare minimum.

        Good luck in thinking your 9m players will play every game, and that it is the best tactic to scoring the most points.

        Consider Coutinho + 4.5 vs Lallana + Morrison rotation (with 1.5m to spend elsewhere)

    Thought about cutting Boruc for Lewic/Price but having 4M in someone I'll never play isn't something I'm all that keen on.

      Downing -> Jarvis/Kim frees up a bit for you.
      Boruc -> 4m is also worth it because you don't worry about GK rotation - so unlikely to be surprised by Sczcesny not playing.
