Going by squad depth + quality this is how I see the top 5 panning out..
1st - Chelsea
2nd - Man City
3rd - Man Utd
4th - Tottenham (If Bale stays)
5th - Liverpool (If Suarez stays)
I'm a United fan btw..Open Controls-

I'm a united fan also and i'll be happy once we get our CL spot 😀
I'd be even happier if we got fabragas or Modric though! Don't want Fellaini at all, won't suit united's style.........i'd rather get no one than him! Cleverly will do!Open Controls -
Liverpool and Tottenham have such overrated squads, definitely below Arsenal
If we had won the game convincingly yesterday, i bet my house on the fact that you wouldn't be saying thisOpen Controls-
Pretty crazy to judge the team based on the result, right? Arsenal lose 1-3 at home and we aren't allowed to allow that to affect how we think they'll do this season...?
Open Controls -
Arsenal barely have a defence in squad terms, add there dire goalie situation, plus the striker position, and you reckon the are ahead of Liverpool and Spurs? How?
Open Controls -
You're probably right about that last bit.. But Arsenal's defensive situation doesn't exactly look promising. Plus Arsene's tight purse strings. Just going by what I've seen but maybe he'll make some good signings, who knows.
Open Controls -
But you didn't win the game, you got trounced by a side that nearly got relegated last season. At home!

It seems Williams wasnt selected for palace due to playing 90 minutes for Wales.
Manager gave strong indication he will start against StokeOpen Controls-
Seemed bright when he came on as well. He's a good 4.5 pick. Still better than Barkley who I can't see keeping his place unless Fellaini ends up leaving.

Might replace Ivanovic this week.
Which one would you get?
a) Toon defender
b) Shaw
c) Coleman
Thanks in advance. 🙂Open Controls-
Robert Huth close to score against Liverpool, gw2 v Palace

Hey TM. I would have to go Coleman ad he is more long term.
Though I have cover from the others.Open Controls -
looking to your defenders, coleman is the man
Open Controls -
Cheers all.
Will watch the game then decide as 2 of the 3 will rise in price.Open Controls -
If you don't have Migs get Toure.
Otherwise Coleman or Shaw, probably in that order.Open Controls -
I picked up Coleman for Ivan, but after watching MOTD I'd take Shaw. He look to be bombing forward quite often.

Lukaku exit strategies
Lukaku Replacement Strategies
Posting this early this morning and wasn't many people around to fuel the debate. I am guessing that is where we will see the most transfer-out's with 27K (tops already) making the move and over 500K of us owning him.
Options seem to be:
A) Take a hit and upgrade
With Chelsea defense being the obvious place to find some extra cash, you can downgrade Ivanovic or Terry to someone like Shaw or Collins and then free up the cash for Soldado. I didn't think he looked great through against Palace so might hold off on that one. Beneteke being the most appealing switch if he didn't have a blank coming up, which leaves Sturridge. I can't see too many making the 6.5M jump to RVP without a WC, which seems silly at this stage with the transfer window still wide open.
B) Go Side-ways
This is likely the best play, with some nice targets out there. We will see how Dzeko does tonight, but already have him so that won't be the play. Bony looked good in his 45-mins, but for me I like the look of Aspas or RVW given their form and fixtures. Welbeck and Lambert were strong as well, but the role of both are up for debate given recent developments. Giroud also looks nailed on, but Arsenal are in tatters. Berbs also looks less appealing given the shape of Fulham and Bent's arrival. Carrol is another interesting punt, though likely too early on that play.
C) Down-grade and save some cash
Can't see any budget targets jumping out, especially with Anelka's fail on Saturday. Chamahk looked lively, buy no one will be stocking up on Palace at the moment and again Villa's assets could be option (Weimann) if they didn't have a blank. Maybe Bent could be a punt that pays off, though his fitness has to be a concern.
Most transfered in forwards though at this stage are Welbeck, Benteke, RVP and Lambert interestingly enough.Open Controls-
i think lambo is safe
Open Controls -
Surely you've missed the a) option without hits.
Open Controls -
Great post.
Have £1.5m in the bank to either Negredo/Jovetic or Sturridge.Open Controls-
Or? You mean there's a real choice here?

I am not going to knee jerk Lukaku out until I see what the final whistle on Wednesday brings. If Lukaku starts and looks unplayable as he often did last year, I may hold him. That said, if he comes on for another 15 minute cameo Wednesday, I may gamble on Darren Bent and pocket the 1.5M. I think Bent in a 4-4-1-1 with Berbatov will be huge. In his seasons with 2800 minutes he has averaged 17 goals a season.
Open Controls-
Yup, I think its still a wait-and-see situation at this point in the week. He won't drop too soon. If he starts Wed. and does anything I doubt he'll drop before the weekend, which will give us more time & info.
The Ivan downgrade + Lukaku upgrade (studg/soldado) is my rough plan though, as it stands.Open Controls
-
-
It's the Wolf for me. His header was incredible
Open Controls-
Not so sure Norwich will provide him with the opportunities to score though. Too many other options at better teams for me.
Open Controls
-
-
In Sky FF, if i join a league now, will my points for this GW still count? Like it does in FPL?
Open Controls-
Yes.
Open Controls -
Good, becasue for some reason, it's given me two teams and entered the team on auto select into my main mini league instead of my actual team.
Open Controls
-
-
Was gonna do Lukaku >Lambert but now Im glad I didn't pull the trigger because if new boy Osvaldo comes in reasonably priced he could be a great differential.
With that said, what price are people expecting Osvaldo to come in at and who is gonna take a chance on him?Open Controls-
Not early on. He has to fit into the team first. It may happen straight away but it could take ages.
Open Controls
-
-
Bloody Reading festival, pushing me in to making my moves before Wednesday's game. Lukaku has to go first ahead of Ivanovic yes?
Open Controls-
Yes.

RVP Saldado Benteke front line 😀
Open Controls-
swap rvp with sturridge and its better
Open Controls-

Can't fault it point potential wise. Seems a bit pricey.
Open Controls-
It leaves me with, Hazard Walcott Snoddy and Lallana in midfield

fulham building a solid team
Open Controls -
Soldado scored a penalty but apart form that he didn't look too special in that Spurs team. Why is he proving so popular?
Open Controls-
I agree with you, and that was against Palace.
I think he will struggle against some of the stronger backlines in the league until he adapts his game and gets a little more fitness in.
Siggy looked the better bet for my money.Open Controls-
I think Siggy was part of the problem for Spurs. He's better suited out wide rather than a position where he has to create chances
Open Controls
-
-
People are fickle and that counts two ways. People are dumping other players to get him after one game and you are judging him after one game. He scored 24 goals in La Liga last year so he is still worth a punt.
Open Controls -
Class. Pens help too. Good fixtures.
Open Controls -
Don't agree, I think he will be massive once his team mates get the hang of passing to him
Open Controls-
La Liga is very different though. I'm not writing him off, I'm simply stating that I think people are getting too excited.
Open Controls
-
-
Because 1/3 of the FPL players always jump before looking, with that said he is a guaranteed starter and is on pens and Spurs have a great line of games.
Open Controls-
Your second sentence sort of negates your first don't you think?
Open Controls
-
-
He is the focal point of a decent team. Is a proven, natural goalscorer. Is on pens.
Open Controls -
No idea tbh. Probably the fact he's the only one who will score for Tottenham tbh along with sigurdson.
If cp didn't have 11 defending it would have gone better. Ian Holloway learnt from Blackpool days that going all out will lose them the Pl spot so he's gonna be very defensive against big clubs.
Expect more goals. Less flamboyancy from Soldado - he's a hernandes type player 🙂Open Controls -
Only focal point of a big team. Spurs didn't look inspiring but when they do score points, he will most likely get some.
Open Controls
-
-
I don't normally ask for advice, and I apologise if this has already been asked 20 times before, but does anyone have info on Rat? Is he likely to start getting regular gametime or should I seriously look at getting someone else in to replace him? He's currently in all my teams (FF, Sky, Sun) and a bit of a worry - but I don't want to tranfer him out only to find that there was a particular reason he didn't play Saturday and that he's in the squad next week ....
Open Controls-
Doosra says Demel and O'Brien played very well the other day, won't be easy for him to nail a spot.
Open Controls
-
-
Zab will almost certainly do well today. I downgraded him to Kos so I could upgrade Barkley to Kim...
Open Controls -
A question re. usage of a wildcard.
I have made 2 transfers so I have -4.
If more transfers are needed can I just use my wild card or is the 4 now set in stone for GW2?Open Controls -
Newcastle Rumour yohan kebab not in squad today.....
Open Controls-
😆
Open Controls

Anyone else holding on to Baines?
Is it foolish to keep spending 7.5 on him?Open Controls -
How did people do in the sky game? Not too sure how captaincy works but I'm pretty sure I forgot to captain Hazard yesterday heh.
Open Controls-
You probably did then. You need to change captain before the first kick-off of the day, and can only do that once from 00.01am Saturday to 00.01am Saturday. Or you can use one of your transfers to take your captain out and the incoming player gets the armband.
Open Controls-
Thanks for the response!
I got 77 with forgetting to change the captain. Figures as I barely spent a minute making the team. So if I was to trade Haz for Silva, I wouldn't lose his points correct? Sorry for the noobian question.Open Controls

Who should i get Coleman in for?
A) Terry
B) MertesakerOpen Controls-
According to Evs who we all respect, Terry is a must at the mo. Mert has major problems in not having s partner.

who´s do think will score less points against Manchester United? Hazard, Oscar or Ivanovic
thanks ladsOpen Controls -
Who saw Breaking Bad last night?
Amazing once againOpen Controls -

FPL stuck last night about 20.00 which is why Coleman and Barkley didn't rise in price as they should have done.
