The Numbers Game – Attacking Potential From The Back

As the dust begins to settle after last night’s match at the Bridge drew a line under Gameweek 1, we cast an eye back over the 11 matches played out. In particular, we analyse some impressive attacking performances at the back and, crucially, highlight a number of protagonists who stood head and shoulders above many of their team-mates last time out from an offensive point of view.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Extra point for Sir Chesney was nice. Anyone else having problems with FISO?

Distin a doubt for Everton. Gibson still "50-50", Hibbert could return

Surely Hibbert doesn't take Coleman's place any time soon? 😆

Did Lukaku to Sturridge last night. Now I have a horrible feeling that big Rom is gonna start vs United (after Mourinho's comment). Ugh!

Something along the lines of "strikers will be rotated but Lukaku is the only one who hasn't started". You think I'm looking into it too much?

Who knows with Mourinho. Either way, you have Sturridge vs Aston Villa who is nailed on and a great FPL pick when fit, and you no longer have to worry about the team sheets. 🙂

RVP is still a good buy given his price. He is nailed on to start every game, set piece taker, spot kicks, he has everything in his bag. Easy captain choice if you have him... If you can set up a decent midfield with him, then its all ok.

Dzeko could have easy scored a brace against Newcastle, but wasn't his day. I agree that RVW looks a good prospect but I'd wait for Snodgrass to return before getting him. Norwich didn't create enough chances against Everton.

NEED ADVICE...current team got me 88...but now thinking I need to use my WC.....thoughts??
    http://fantasy.premierleague.com/entry/99910/event-history/1/

If I do use it my team would be:
    Boruc/Krul
    Clyne/Zabs/Coleman/Chester/Collins
    Lennon/Silva/Redmond/Barkley/Walcott
    RVP/Benteke/Dzeko

    1. Is Krul a good idea?? Or better to go with a 4.5 keeper like Speroni?
    2. I currently have Reid, is it worth it to swap him for Collins and the extra 0.5?
    3. Redmond over Noble who has penalties and free kicks??
    4. Dzeko over Lambert?? I remember he scored 4 in an early GW last season against lower team?

    Please help
