As the dust begins to settle after last night’s match at the Bridge drew a line under Gameweek 1, we cast an eye back over the 11 matches played out. In particular, we analyse some impressive attacking performances at the back and, crucially, highlight a number of protagonists who stood head and shoulders above many of their team-mates last time out from an offensive point of view.

          Who knows with Mourinho. Either way, you have Sturridge vs Aston Villa who is nailed on and a great FPL pick when fit, and you no longer have to worry about the team sheets. 🙂

      RVP is still a good buy given his price. He is nailed on to start every game, set piece taker, spot kicks, he has everything in his bag. Easy captain choice if you have him... If you can set up a decent midfield with him, then its all ok.

          Dzeko could have easy scored a brace against Newcastle, but wasn't his day. I agree that RVW looks a good prospect but I'd wait for Snodgrass to return before getting him. Norwich didn't create enough chances against Everton.
