It's not the bonus point which has rematerialised, it's a save point - he'd gone down to 2 saves and now he's back up to 3.
The BPS and bonus points have also been all over the place but that's a separate matter...Open Controls
he lost a point due to losing his 3rd save, rather than losing the bonus point.
the issue now is losing that save caused him to lose 1 of the points which determine bonus points, meaning he should no longer qualify for a share of the 1bp with clark.

Keeper makes the save from Hazard's shot, the ball is taken away from goal because of the save, if Luna isn't there the ball continues going away from goal (a Chelsea player may have been the first to it for a tap in who knows? In that case it would of been an assist) it then hits the onrushing Luna, which takes the ball back the opposite way and into the goal. It hits two Aston Villa players. Not one. But two. The ball has changed direction twice because of two Villa players after Hazard's shot. Do you mean to tell me, that the ball could have been deflected between Villa's 11 players after the shot, gone in, and be given a Hazard assist? Better still, Guzan should of just caught the ball, rolled it to Luna and Luna just blasted it into the net.

Shot -> Saved -> Goal from save = Assist
If it'd gone Shot -> Saved -> Deflected -> Goal from deflection it'd never be an assist.

In reality its not an assist, this is a game. In my view it isn't an assist. Like Bale's wasn't last year vs. Wigan. Or Dzeko's vs. Newcastle for Silva's goal (which they correctly didnt give)

Its the rebound rule you need to look at:

No, because if the ball had been deflected between Villa's 11 players after the shot then been tucked in by a Chelsea player there wouldn't have been an assist. Neither would there have been if Guzan had caught the ball, rolled it to Lampard and Lampard just blasted it into the net.
If a player shoots, it's saved but the rebound is put in the net it's an assist. Easy 🙂Open Controls

I've compiled this Members table looking at the most attacking players this season. Obviously just one or two games to go on at the moment, but may be worth referring back to as the weeks go by. I've sorted by shots inside the box and also included more assist/bonus worthy stats such as corners, crosses and pass completion. I've left the search function free so you can search by home/away etc when we have more games under our belts.
