He’s well travelled. He’s multi-lingual. He’s just 19 points behind me. Despite my best start to a Fantasy Football season in living memory, Granville is right on my tail. In this latest episode of the ScoutCast, Granville takes delight in taunting me by wrapping his tongue around every “Pochettino” with ease, leaving me to struggle like Paul Merson with a mouth ulcer.

In between the mispronunciations, myself and the “cosmopolitan Manc” get heated about Robin Van Persie, rinse through the Gameweek 1 bandwagons, preview the weekend’s action and welcome the flying start made by this season’s ScoutCast team. It’s breathless stuff, squeezed into a low fat 40 minutes.

    I'm surprised the amount of people getting Aguero knowing how fragile he is. 😉

    At least with Dzeko there's a slim to none chance he gets injured, or even knocked down for that matter.

      Going with Jecko just over these next 2 GWs against the promoted sides. Whether he starts or not, that's fine. I want to give him a run and then move on regardless of how he does. At 7.5, a good GW1, I am feel I can take the chance.

    Any truth in Chelsea's rumored deal for Willian? Or is it just a way to get a better deal for Willian?

    It's baffles me why Chelsea would need an attacking mid ,unless Mata goes, but why would you wanna sell one of the best players in the Premier League?

        I don't know there were rumors, that Chelsea had made a last-minute mid, and were trying to hijack the deal.

        They have so much of talent in that position, that it's hard to actually believe that the rumor could be true.

      If you really believe those stats are all what you need, get Bony then. But it isn't, is it? It's a new team , they are just gelling with each other, believe me the 4-3-3 will be perfect in FPL terms for Soldado. Loads of service, and he will be the main focal point.

      Now stop beating about the bush, and just get him. 🙂

      Wow, do not give up Lamps. Haz>Mirallas for Zabaleta is better. Gives you more freedom in future transfers and you can always buy him back when fixtures improve and he starts scoring points again.

        I'm cool with taking hits early on for players who are actually in the squad and playing. And if it makes you feel better, I'm at -12. (See shock and horror from a page ago.) But I still feel it's the right decision. Lost no cash, and Olsson, Kos and potentially Ivan and Luk next week (and definitely the following) were just bringing me down.

        Thankfully I didn't have Anelka...

            I don't think HBA is a punt. He has 3 home fixtures in 4. Surely gunna grab some points. On PKs, Corners, Set pieces.

            The only thing is with City the points could come from anyone...

              Thing about HBA is you have to let him prove himself. That's the nature of the high-skill, high-potential guy who's also mid-priced. Can't be jumping on and off.

              It's not like he's at 8 or 9. He's 7 and is a good shout in next few GWs.

      and check the council site every week (not necessary) to keep up with standings and see any league reviews or other articles written about the leagues. that part is totally optional but makes it more enjoyable

      oh and participate in some banter with your opponents, always makes things more fun 😀
