He’s well travelled. He’s multi-lingual. He’s just 19 points behind me. Despite my best start to a Fantasy Football season in living memory, Granville is right on my tail. In this latest episode of the ScoutCast, Granville takes delight in taunting me by wrapping his tongue around every “Pochettino” with ease, leaving me to struggle like Paul Merson with a mouth ulcer.

In between the mispronunciations, myself and the “cosmopolitan Manc” get heated about Robin Van Persie, rinse through the Gameweek 1 bandwagons, preview the weekend’s action and welcome the flying start made by this season’s ScoutCast team. It’s breathless stuff, squeezed into a low fat 40 minutes.

        I was put off spending the points on zabaletta as they only have one central defender , a poor defender at that in Lescott

        Only toss up was the third defender spot

        quite close between chester toure and ivan , but figured i would suffer more if liverpool or chelsea manage a clean sheet , most others would probably have chester on bench as well

      Very similar starting lineups.

      i took the 4 point hit of Terry out and Zab in.
      I have Mert over Coleman (though I think Coleman is the better option now)
      I have Nolan over Mirralles (happy with that)
      I have Giroud over Benteke (fixtures vs form)
      I also plan to make the Hazard ~> Silva switch next gw

      So all in all I like!

        Norwich: 8 goal attempts last week, 2 on target. Now they did score two goals but you'd suggest they aren't going to score from 100% of their shots on target every week.

    I think I will do Hazard --> Silva. Lukaku is at 7.9 now, if I get Lambert or RVW for Lukaku in this GW, there is a chance that I will sell them again for the better long term like Bony or Benteke which is waste of FT.

    Hope this is the right choice.

      Cech to Mig works. Trading out Lukaku is probably a wise move too, just such a bummer he can't get minutes. I like Sturridge if you can afford it.

    Little worried about an entire midfield playing away.

    Any input would be greatly appreciated, although I think im mostly happy!

      He might have scored, but he was heavily uninvolved in the game and took only the solitary shot - Norwich still seem to lack any attacking threat somehow

    My original plan was to take out Oscar and keep Hazard, but given that they've both got around the same minutes but Oscar plays in the center do you think its worth taking out Hazard instead? Or should I stick to the plan and take Oscar out?

      Who do you get if you take out Oscar? If you can afford Silva/Walcott I'd still lose him. If it means you have to settle for someone in the midrange price bracket I'd stick with Hazard. I expect a massive season from him Although I sold him this week

      For the last 10 minutes of the Villa game Hazard played very high up the pitch alongside Lukaku as Jose used his pace to try and catch Villa on the break.....a very positive sign and someone I am keeping for sure.

    I'm kind of a noob but i dropped Laurent Koscielny for a hit because it appeared his price would drop based on crack the code...and i really wanted zabs like everyone else. I was surprised when he didn't drop. If he's at 120%, will he surely drop now?

      He might do eventually but when a player is suspended or injured he is flagged and his price is locked. He is only out for one game and with good fixtures i am bot sure that was the best move.

    A:
    Gw2: ivanovic >> any def upto 4.5
    Gw3: hazard + Lukaku >> any mid upto 6.4m + rvp.

    B:
    Gw2: ivanovic >> any def upto 5
    Gw3: hazard + Lukaku >> any mid upto 5.9 + rvp

    Problem: B allows me to get a good defender but mids below 6 r limited..in both scenarios, lukakus price will drop further so I have to suffer thru that but will bring in rvp in gw3

    C:
    Gw2: Lukaku >> lambert
    Gw3: ivanovic + hazard >> def + mid upto 10.9
    Gw4: dzeko >> rvp

    Problem: won't suffer thru lukakus price decline but have to stick to these transfers to get rvp in gw3 and hope his price hasn't risen by too much
