He’s well travelled. He’s multi-lingual. He’s just 19 points behind me. Despite my best start to a Fantasy Football season in living memory, Granville is right on my tail. In this latest episode of the ScoutCast, Granville takes delight in taunting me by wrapping his tongue around every “Pochettino” with ease, leaving me to struggle like Paul Merson with a mouth ulcer.

In between the mispronunciations, myself and the “cosmopolitan Manc” get heated about Robin Van Persie, rinse through the Gameweek 1 bandwagons, preview the weekend’s action and welcome the flying start made by this season’s ScoutCast team. It’s breathless stuff, squeezed into a low fat 40 minutes.

    The bottom "X" number of teams for the gameweek after hits will be eliminated.

    Entries close GW2.

    GW1 will be an easy introduction with average or better being good enough to progress."

      X is likely to be the lowest 40 or equal scores for a few weeks then down to 30 etc.

          He had to do it that way because he couldn't be sure of total entrants. No point kicking 40 people out if there is 30 in it. If you don't like it leave it's great that he does stuff like this for us.

        people are too quick to judge. more likely that Hazard will get rotated since he plazed both of the first games. I fancy shipping out any defender as I dont see them keeping RVP out

    top scoring defenders WILL score higher this year because of the new bonus system. SO maybe you could play a 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 and fund RVP.

      False. Top scoring defenders will only score higher IF there is a clean sheet.

      I wouldn't bank on there being CS's, but forwards and mids could always score/assist.

      I think there are enough options for either system to work. Good mid priced/low priced options to accompany RVP and consistent strikers for those who go without (Aguero, Benteke and maybe Soldado).

      With the new BPS, RVP could score fewer BPs than last season too. I remember him getting some dubious ones last year..
