As another Gameweek edges towards its conclusion, we handpick the standout statistics over Saturday and Sunday’s nine Premier League fixtures. Andre Villas-Boas’ shift to 4-3-3 brings a Tottenham new boy onto our radar, a certain Saints frontman catches our attention, City’s midfield schemer offers goal promise, while a trio of Everton’s assets also make the cut:

Under the radar:
Oscar, Paulinho, Nolan, Snodgrass, GiaccheriniOpen Controls-
For what GW?

I like the Oscar for the season, obviously not for next week. But if Lampard starts tonight, he's the one for me. I feel if he has started consistently, he will continue to so.

Oscar ... good differential but will get rotated.
Paulinho, Nolan and the Italian fellow incompletely agree... sssshh!
Snodgrass might take a while and with the new systems and structures Norwich are running he may take a while. Winkle, Hooper and maybe Elmander will take some of his points this seasonOpen Controls

Boruc (Cech)
Reid Collins Coleman M.Turner (Toure)
Wally(c) Snodgrass Mirallas Kim (Hazard)
Giroud Soldado (Benteke)
A) Save transfer
B) Hazard to Silva and bench M.Turner
Thanks guysOpen Controls -
Why didn't Bony play more at weekend? Presumably he will next weekend?
Am thinking hazard + aspas -> taarabt/nolan + bony (with a wildcard likely over international break - avoid price drop of hazard + get in the inevitable transfers)Open Controls-
I don't know, but he should start next week. I'm getting him.
Open Controls -
doubt. laudrup prefers to play just michu up top away from home
Open Controls -
Because Laudrup sh1t his pants at the prospect of playing away, so put his best player (Michu) out of position and his second best player (Bony) on the bench in an effort to facilitate a more defensive and ultimately unsuccessful strategy.
Carry on.Open Controls

Just out of interest, for those that captained Dzeko over RVP, if you were given the choice would you switch the captaincy ahead of tonight's game?Open Controls -
Only 4.5 hours to enter Last Man Standing.

my defender is probably going to drop tonight, who's the best 5.0 or cheaper defender next 3-4 games?
I could make way for Coleman...Open Controls-

Really want to take advantage of that PaddyPower 5/1 offer but I am already a customer. Don't suppose there is any legitimate way I can still do it?

Make another account, collect your winnings on your credit card, and simply add the money you won to your fist paddy power account. Simples.

I joined this site midway through 2 seasons ago when I was outside the top 1 million, I went onto finish just outside the top 100k, and last season I managed to get into the top 40k. I'm very much considering becoming a member on this site as it has helped me a lot already. I was just wondering if other members found that becoming a member helped them improve, and also what kind of services are on offer to members ❓ Thanks 🙂
Open Controls-
Great site with access to a huge amount of stats on players, and functionality to compare players. Articles are great and the season ticker that you can sort by difficulty is what I use all the time.
Do it!Open Controls -
Was my first season last year, was inside top 1000 till took a few risks (aguero captain etc) at end to push higher (eventually ending up around 2000). It's well worth it - the season ticker + tables are really useful.. plus in my eyes it's a way to support the community
Open Controls -
It also keeps a cardboard box over Andy's head!

There are plenty of videos to watch to see what you can do in the members section. I became a member at the start of this season and it is fantastic, although it is too early to say whether it has enhanced my rank, I'm confident it will do. There are endless stats available to you, a comparison tool to help you choose potential transfer targets, post match stat tables, exclusive articles. The benefits are endless. It is well worth it imo.

Maintaining the website and community is already a service we should all pay a few pounds for, but if I were you I would check out the earlier video intro on a tool called Rate my team (RMT). The tool helps a lot on planning and is easily worth the membership fee.

Came in from the pub half cut last night and did Hazard and Lukaku to Silva and Sturridge. By the time I pressed to confirm transfers Lukaku had gone down another 0.1! Serves me right for mucking about!
Open Controls -
Of the 68 bonus points handed out thus far, 40 have gone to defenders, 20 to strikers and just a measly 8 points for the midfielders. Wow!
Open Controls-
Good stat.
Open Controls -
might have to upgrade all my defence on the WC soon
Open Controls -
The fact that the midfielders have failed to fire anyway has a lot to do with it. I would really like someone like Verthongen though, I think he will score big!
Open Controls -
how many of those have gone to defenders priced 6.0+???
Open Controls -
Of the 20 games Midfielders have only scored 13 goals and 21 assists, compared to 54 clean sheets, 6 goals and 7 assists
Open Controls -
when midfielders score goals and/or defenders don't keep clean sheets it's all change.

So... the final week of the transfer window. I'm not considering any transfers for my fpl team until it's over. Who do you think the BIG transfers may be?
Open Controls-
You my want to reconsider if someone rises 😉
Open Controls -
Di maria to Arsenal
Ozil to Manchester United
Eto'o to Chelsea
Lamela to SpursOpen Controls -
Bale out to real.
Rvp out to Cardiff.
At least one real midfielder coming to Tot ars or MutdOpen Controls -
Lukaku back to West Brom

Hmmm... I heard something about this Welsh lad leaving for Madrid some time back 😉
I think Liverpool are going to get a winger to play Coutinho as a no.10, making him an FF option the moment everyone here sells him. But they'll have no clue how to fit everyone once Suarez is back as he can't have Danny boy, Suarez and Coutinho all playing through the center.
Spurs will buy someone, but hey you already knew that
Other than that I expect it to be quiet (from an Fpl perspective atleast, eg: Arsenal buying a defensive mid)Open Controls

If Ozil went to Man U (hypothetically because it wouldn't happen), would people put him in for 10m? (hard because he is an assister)
Open Controls -
Fiso have RVP @ 93.1% & and totalfpl have him @ 62.8%, anybody have any idea which is correct? Thanks.

Right I think I've decided that because of Van Persie my 4th mid position is always going to be a max of 6.5.
So is it sensible to leave Snodgrass and just let him accumulate points because there isn't many options for under 6.5?
The only options I like that could possibly get on a role are Moses(if he goes out on loan), Taarabt, Sinclair and Downing. Any others?Open Controls-
I think that at the end of the transfer window there'll be better value prospects than rvp (potentially rooney, suarez etc). Snodgrass will eventually score well but I'm thinking about taarabt as a short term high-risk, high reward type player
