There are no brown envelopes in sight; this “bung” is firmly placed in my nasal passages as I clamber from my man-flu grief pit to sit alongside Granville and take my Gameweek medicine. After seeing me off by 21 points, it’s only fair I gave my co-host his moment of glory, regardless of being short of match fitness.

Somehow we end up arguing about Robin van Persie once again, before taking a gander at the bandwagons rolling and preview the weekend’s action the only way we know how: by rambling endlessly and singling out some dubious player picks along the way.

      Improving his scoring rate all the time - now about 1 in 3. So he seems to be an emerging talent in terms of goals but big step up from Dutch league so I think there is still a question mark over him.

    Allright, I've owned RVP since the start, and not handed him the armband once yet.

    This week I've been struggling with the captain choice. Narrowed it down to Silva and RVP.
    I think this is a really though choice, due to Silvas good fixture.

    Since I obviously can't make up my mind after several days, should this go down as "when in doubt, captain RVP"? Not sure what pick it would hurt the most to fail with.

      I am having the same problem. But RVP seems to be edging it at the moment, as liverpools defence ain't together too much with toure out. Hope he scores a few.

      same reason I started the season without him, as I didn't like him for Chelsea dgw, nor could bear having him against us, thought he'd blank in that one.

      i will own him for GW4, but if owned him now, this would be the one game of 3 I would captain him

      Come January wildcard when you have £110m and your rival has £98m, it matters, trust me.

      It means you can have RVP and not balls up your side second half.

        I'd stay away from Ward-Prowse and Morrison for now.

        Go Brady, Kim or Whittingham. I prefer Whittingham as he's on set pieces (although Kim plays in the hole).

        I would have transferred Toure out, but he has immense value for a Liverpool defender.

        And, I don't think Chester's getting away with more than a point here. My 5th defender is Brayford. So.. Tricky decision on my hands.

          If Toure is back next GW, I wouldn't transfer him out, and definitely not for a hit. If he's gonna miss the next match too, then you could argue it's worth a hit. And I'd go for Collins.

          I haven't kept up to date with his injury news as he's not in my team.
