As mentioned last week, www.playon.co.uk, our featured weekly Fantasy Football game, is offering a huge £5,000 prize pot for Gameweek 4. They’ve offered to increase the prize pot to £5,000 if their “£1,000 Guaranteed” game reaches 500 entries by 5pm tomorrow (Friday) – entry into the game is £5.

If you’ve yet to try out PlayON, this is a good opportunity to suss it out. PlayON is London based and is licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission. You only need to register a provisional team of XI and enter the game by 5pm tomorrow – your lineup can be tweaked right up to 10 minutes before the first kick-off on Saturday, when United entertain Palace at 12.45pm.

If you’re new to the game, you’ll find our full strategy guide right here, offering tips that we’ve gathered along the way. We’ll also be following up with specific player picks for Gameweek 4 tomorrow at lunchtime.

Be sure to spread the word on this to help fill up the game and ensure that PlayON deliver the £5,000 prize fund. Remember – there needs to be 500 players in the “£1,000 Guaranteed” game by Friday at 5pm for the pot to be boosted.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

5 year contract is sometimes seen as a show of confidence.

Plus he got an assist vs. Bolton when he last signed a contract apparently 😉

It's desperation from the non RVP owners (me). If RVP tears it up at least Nani may get a piece of the action. He has just signed a new contract and will be raring to go 🙂

why would he be raring to go *after* signing a new contract

my experience is players are raring to go when their contract is expiring and/or they are trying to get a new one, and that *after* they get a new contract, they don't care a whip

He is nailed on and even when kompany comes back it'll most likely be lescott out. city can keep cleanies in 4 out of their next 5 games.

Which one out of Coleman(CHE), Chester(HULL) and Toure (Swa) to play this week?

Coleman is at home and has goal threat.
Chester is at home to Cardiff and has a half decent chance of a cs.
Pool defense haven't conceded yet, but swa away could be tricky and toure may not be fit/rotated.

    Tricky one.

Btw just had a look at Spurs on the team news tab.
I'd be shocked if Sandro doesn't start.
50/50 on who misses out from Eriksen and Dembele from the 3 the scouts have though.
Townsend doesn't deserve dropping and Lamela has just touched down so probably won't start and Chadli will take the other flank.

Big IF though. Fairly large part of the attacking mid role. I still like Dembele but I think he's better as part of the pivot with a destroyer type (was boss with Sandro last year) or as part of a 3 but with a Holtby/Eriksen type ahead of him. Basically the same as Paulinho despite being different types of players.

Trying to make sure I do the right choice in picking Walcott over Ozil from the gunners midfield. Quite difficult to imagine exactly how it will turn out, if walcott will benefit as much as we would like to think, but it felt natural to compare ozil with di maria from their time in real madrid, with di maria playing out right wide and ozil in the middle:

    Minutes per assist
    Di Maria: 129
    Ozil: 132

    Minutes per goal
    Di Maria: 322
    Ozil: 382

Bit surprised that they are pretty much even on assists, while goals are as expected I suppose. Anyways, it backs the choice of walcott to some extent imo

    For whatever it is worth

People should read the scout tweets on the homepage before asking some questions. If there is any reliable news to report it will be there. 😉

Too many hunch choices in midpark. Goldado over Studge. Too much money in d too.

Impossible to afford RVP with a decent midfield, so maybe Nani is an option..

    a) sturridge + soldado + nani (or any midfielder up to 7.6)

    b) Rvp + lambert + 4.5 midfielder

    c) lambert + soldado + any midfielder up to 9.3 (already have michu, theo, lampard)

    thanks

      not bad

ferdinand and wisdom over vidic and kaboul saves another million to upgrade nolan to eriksen or upgrade your 4.5 or 5,0 midfielders

      i would have michu though

Ah Wisdom, yes. Was originally thinking Ferdinand over Vidic, undecided how much gametime and goals he'll lose compared to Vidic.

Cheers, tricky with Spurs expected to get better attack wise but Sturridge a very good option. Another reason not to have RVP I guess. Nolan's remarkably reliable for goals despite being much less flairy than Barfa.

Negatory. I've decided life's too difficult without Robin and I must have him. Especially with the fixtures United have coming up (bar the derby).
