The Gameweek continues with just one Sunday fixture, as Southampton entertain Sam Allardyceโ€™s West Ham at St Mary’s. Both sides go into the game off the back of 1-0 setbacks last time out and will be looking to push up to the upper echelons of the table with three points.

The managers have contrasting options in attack for todayโ€™s game. While Mauricio Pochettino has the opportunity to pair England striker Rickie Lambert with new signing Pablo Osvaldo, Allardyce is woefully short on firepower with Andy Carroll now set for a prolonged spell on the sidelines. That could well make for a cagey affair, although Lambertโ€™s Fantasy owners will hope that their man continues his positive start to the season by adding to his opening day strike from the spot at the Hawthorns.

Our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now open for those looking for some real-time accompaniment to the live broadcast.

The team news is in and is as follows:

Southampton make three changes from the side that stumbled at Norwich last time out. Luke Shaw and Nathaniel Clyne oust Danny Fox and Callum Chambers from the full-back berths, while James Ward-Prowse makes way for Jay Rodriguez on the right of the attacking midfield three, with the former Burnley man slotting in alongside Osvaldo and Adam Lallana behind Lambert.

Sam Allardyce makes just one alteration from the Gameweek 3 home loss to Stoke. Ravel Morrison is drafted in for the injured Stewart Downing on the right of the front three, with Joey O’Brien yet again selected at left-back, consigning new boy Razvan Rat to bench-warming duties once more.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    JWP coming on ๐Ÿ™
having a player who comes on for 20 mins is way more annoying than someone who misses the whole match (considering subs)

I don't know if I'm happy about owning Boruc. He doesn't make many saves, Southampton don't concede a lot but don't keep clean sheets either. He's kind of meh. This might be two clean sheets out of 4, which isn't so bad.

Jussi prob would of kept Bolton up a couple of seasons ago, he was injured for part of that season, but Owen Coyle kept the faith with Bogdan who is poor.
Coyle sold Al Habsi to Wigan, don't think Coyle rates Al Habsi as he starts Scott Carson over him!

Shaw taken off because he is in pain with that previous injury (again). Southampton really need to get him into a decent physio, such a young talent is going to spend half his playing life in the med bay at this rate!

Still, keeps the clean sheet for me.
