There is potential he'll play less when Suarez returns, but not likely. With Aspas Alberto Sterling and Ibe I'm not sure how often he'll complete the full 90 but he looks a good pick.
Other options are better in my opinion

Carrick is a great player, he just shouldnt always be tied to being the deepest midfielder. Fellaini will give him a bit of freedom to carry the ball forward.
He loses the ball in bad areas.

Thats essentially my point. As deepest midfielder he shouldnt be allowed the ball for more than 2 seconds, but higher up he gets time to spot the hollywood pass, which he is more than capable of pulling off every so often.
