With just a single assist to show for his endeavours over the first three Gameweeks, Fantasy faith in Michu took a dent ahead of last Monday’s home clash with Liverpool. The Swansea midfielder shed almost 66,000 owners in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game and suffered a drop in price due to his lack of attacking returns but after opening his account against the Reds, he’s back on many a radar as Michael Laudrup’s side prepare for a kind upcoming run of fixtures.

    Plan to save this weeks FT and do Hernandez > 5.2 (suggestions) in order to fund Soldado > Rooney for GW6. But I still want some Spurs cover after ditching Roberto, so how does Vidic > Walker for GW7 sound? Walker less prone to injury/rotation and has greater attacking potential so better long term, no? Would give me a GW7 team of:

    Zabaleta - Coleman - Vidic/Walker
    Hazard - HBA - 5.2 - Walcott

    Does FPL reflect realistically on a players actual performance? In general of course, yes, as goals/assists/CS/saves etc (and the resultant points) all stem from good play and the likes. But there are plenty of players who put in game winning performances week after week, which is rarely reflected in FPL terms.

    I suppose the best examples of this are DM's (like Carrick & Scholes) and perhaps keepers (two or three brilliant saves gives them 1 extra point, but could have meant the one goal his team scored, won them the match as a result).

    So, who do you thing are the forgotten heroes of FPL? This isn't so much a post about bap distribution but more about players who punch, in real terms, well above their FPL weight.

          I got sick of Scholes he went from being underrated to really really overrated. He was being talked about like he was Maradona, Pele or Messi and he simply is not that good.

      Nolan can wait a week especially if u bought him at 7.0 because then him dropping tonight wont affect you. I like to avoid -4 unless its an injury and nolan will play
