With leagues across Fantasy Premier League (FPL), Sky Sports and Sun Dream Team there is plenty to catch up on following the international break. We look at those who have excelled during Gameweek 4 and those who are a little richer after having a great week in our PlayON game.

Fantasy Premier League

Gameweek 4 proved a curse for Stumanchu, the previous leader of our Fantasy Premier League (FPL) mini-league. Despite an excellent score of 69 points he has slipped to second – Menat Gosavi’s score of 83 points was enough to clinch top spot, thanks to his Christian Benteke captaincy and investment in both Aaron Ramsey and Hatem Ben Arfa; Menat has also climbed to fourth in the overall rankings. In third place is another Aaron Ramsey owner, David Wilson, who notched up a score of 76 points. The code to join our FPL league, which is currently top of the league of leagues, is 1580-1106.

Our Fantasy Football Scout Members league also has a new face at the summit, with Corey Solveira taking a two point lead with a Gameweek score of 77 points. Hatem Ben Arfa and a Olivier Giroud captaincy proved crucial to Corey’s ascent. Michu-owning Matthew Jenkins sits in second place, while Ivan Heneghan’s captaincy of Ben Arfa helped him keep a firm grip on third place.

Annoyingly for those of us languishing at the foot of the Fantasy Football Scout Contributors and Moderators’ FPL league Greek Fan has finally worked out the entry code and joins in first place. Last year’s victor Andy rises to second and our newest member of the moderator team Athletico Timbo takes third.

Sky Sports Fantasy Football

With a score of 388 Nick Whitrid moves from third to first in our Sky Sports Fantasy Football league, with Josie O’Neil slipping to second and Mary Humberstone falling one place to third, with her second team in fourth. The winner of our Sky league, which is joint top of the league of leagues, wins £1,000. To join, visit Sky Sports Fantasy Football and key in League Name: FFScout, League Code: 8000112.

The Sun Dream Team

Lee Walpole tops our Sun Dream Team league with a score of 345 after some heavy investment in Tottenham and Arsenal. Just two of his players, Leighton Baines and Robin Van Persie, are from teams outside of North London. In second is Simon Wall with a score of 315, while Sam Hutchinson and Charles Mouzon share third place with a score of 314. All points are, of course, subject to change tonight following the Europa League ties. To join visit The Sun Dream Team, league name: Fantasy Football Scout, password: ReWOZhn1T1 and PIN: 8061654.

PlayOn

Anthony Squires was the winner of PlayON’s £1,000 guaranteed game with a haul of £384 thanks to a team selection that included Giroud and Ben Arfa. Carl Lane takes second and a pot of £256 and in third is Daniel Kings, who is now £152.32 richer.

In our exclusive Fantasy Football Scout PlayON £2 game a total of £232 was on offer. Kev Mather was in first place and won £69.60 after selecting, among others, Giroud and Ramsey. Anthony Squires was successful again, taking second place and winnings of £46.40 and in third place, with £18.56 in his pocket, was David Burraway.

UEFA Champions League

In our UEFA Champions League all our top three competitors captained Cristiano Ronaldo and have Lionel Messi, David Alaba, Atsuto Uchida and Isco in their sides. These five players brought them 89 points in total. Mak Gold, with a total score of 130 and an 8th place overall ranking, is first, None the Less is in second and in third is Rraya. The details for joining our UEFA Champions League mini-league are: league name FFScout, league code 1209685-489925.

So, which striker to drop for Lukaku if we're getting him? Studge, Benteke, RVP (the 3 Amigos i got) or Giroud?

I wouldn't suggest dropping any of those, but keep an eye on Lukaku. If he starts banging them in, he may become an option.

I really think Theo is going to break out this weekend. That is what my heart says. However, Girouds form is undeniable!

I think when faced to decide between the two, I would have to pick Theo as (C) because, their odds to score are relatively equal imo.....You get 5 pts for a mid goal vs Fwd and you potentially have bonus CS point.

Thanks Acqua, been reading your update last few weeks, always gives me something to consider for the week ahead.
I would be very interested in your thoughts why you did not consider Walcott (c)? - he is currently highest projected in RMT and ESBO
Also surprised Chelsea not recommended for cleansheet home to Fulham. Personally I feel Mourinho will want a result ground out after the midweek performance. If there weren't such great alternatives I would have considered Ibramovich for captain based on CS and goal threat

Have such a crap team for this gw despite taking a hit so far

    Boruc
    Ivan coleman murner (chester ward)
    wally brady barfa kim (coutinho)
    giroud lambert Rvp

    1) i would give it 6/10 with a good def and avg strikers for this week. Having already taken 1 hit, would you recommend taking another hit to do coutinho >> michu/erikson?

    2) reckon Ivan will start? think he might be rested...also is brady fit? I might have to use a WC today if i get some clarity

Chelsea are desperate for a win so I would guess that this will be our first chance to see what Mourinho thinks his best team is. Ivan is easily their best defender and has a goal threat, which they desperately need. He would be the first name on the team sheet if it were up to me. At CB though.

I took a hit to do Cout > Michu but in your case I'd get Eriksen as you don't have Soldado like I do.

Golden retrievers are basically long haired labs so I can go along with that. German Shepherds don't mature until they are at least 4 so they can be very hard work. Also are known to have issues with their skin from a young age but if you have the time to train them and give them the exercise they need they are lovely dogs. Labs and retrievers have problems with their backs and hips but not usually until after the age of 10.

I have to add that I think any breed of dog can be a great pet as long as they are cared for and trained properly. I've known Dobermans, rottweilers and pittbulls that were/are very soft. My sister has a 7 year old Boxer who is massive and he has always been great with my 5 year old nephew.

There is no best breed, but there's a breed for everyone's preference.
Me for example I like American pitbulls or staffys. Don't grow too big, have short hair and have amazing loyalty, so long as you train them right and give them the proper attention and exercise they need.

A switch to 4-3-3 helped me afford RVP. could be done in a few weeks on FT and a couple of hits. You get a premium player for 6 mil at the back as apposed to 9 mil in midfield. If you do Mirallas to some one who rotates well with Brady, can you do jrod to giroud?

Wilshere is now going through the Ramsey phase. Wilshere is trying too much to impress but making unnecessary moves and dissapointing at times. Ramsey had similar problems where he would try to dribble for a little bit long and try too many fancy passes, but now he's matured.

Ramsey for the armband first imo. 😉

Walcott is a close second but Stoke can be tough defensively even though its at the Emerites. Michu could be a good bet as well but Swansea mightn't find it that easy coming off a europa game.

Was all set for HBA, but then realised I'm putting McGregor in goal over Boruc this week.

Not seen the games, but sounds like Palace have been pretty well.

So looks like it's going on Wally.

there are 4 players for that position; arteta, flamini, ramsey and diaby..currently arteta and diaby are injured, so don't think ramsey will lose his spot very soon

I think Flamini will become a must have player for Wenger as he is the only one who likes to sit deep and keep things simple. With Cazorla, Ozil and Walcott likely to play behind Giroud that only leaves one spot. Surely that has to go to wilshere when he is match fit.

I think i have made my decision, going to go with Rooney over RvP. As much as it kills me, the 3.5M is needed in the rest of my squad.

Before i bid you adieu my friend Robin (i have one more night to sleep on it), I will reflect on your remarkable highlights over the past 2 seasons,

    1. When you were a Gunner, and Wenger rested you vs Sunderland you came off the bench and bagged a brace in 25 mins.
    2. Last season you delivered attacking returns in something like 10 consecutive matches
    3. Who can forget your hattrick vs Villa
    4. After missing a penalty vs Southampton last season, you went on to scoring a hatrick.
    5. Scoring the late winner on a free kick in the Derby @ city.

Feel free to add your favorites!

        Mig
        Zab/Mert/Turner/Turner/Chester
        Theo/Mirallas/Michu/Brady/Kim
        RvP/Sturridge/Jrod?

Sad think is that i am going to a stag party tomorrow. Will probably have a few drinks and come home to make my transfers.

Its a shame JRod hasn't worked out because he could have been a very good option had Saints not bought a new striker. I'm not convinced Liverpool will do that well this weekend now that Coutinho is out so Sturridge is more than enough Liverpool cover. I also believe Rooney has just as good a chance as RVP to do well against City this weekend. Ultimately you get Giroud instead of JRod for a hit which is well worth it.

2011-12 with Arsenal course. Mindblowing from an FPL perspective as well.

That week I had VDV (C) and RVP (VC). Arry rested VDV that GW and didn't come on the whole game.

If you had a front 7 of Walcott, Michu, Eriksen, Barfa, Giroud, Benteke and Studge, would you have Whittingham as your 5th milf? 5m is awfully expensive for a player who I'll never play, barring injuries to my other 7... Or should I just go with Ravel at 4.4 and invest the cash elsewhere?

depending on what defenders ur getting ? you need to show us ur backline , if its a choice between Ivan/Terry I get 6.0 but if its a 6 vs 5.5 , I might go with the 6m

a 5th mid will come in handy sometimes... especially benafra wont be firing every game... and eriksen will be up against Chelsea after this gw

It depends. Are you satisfied with the GK/DF you can have with Whitty in your squad? If not and you have good idea to spend 0.6m save elsewhere, you can go Ravel. Bare in mind that big teams who play in CL/Europa may need rotation around this time until Nov.

Unless RVP looks much better than Rooney in the city game will be usingnext weeks two free transfers for

    RVP to Rooney
    Brady to Michu

Rooney Michu would have to be better than RVP Brady

Rooney Michu every day of the week for me! I think Rooney will only be just shy of RVP and Michu will nearly double Brady!

Yeah its incredible the difference it makes to sell RVP for Rooney. Rooney and Michu for sure.

    Is this clear cut?

    A) GW6: Solado -> Rooney
    GW7: Nolan -> Eriksen

    B) GW6: Soldado -> RVP
    GW7: Nolan -> Moses

    Boruc
    Zaba, Terry, Toure
    Walcott, Mirallas, Nolan, Ramsey
    Sturridge, Giroud, Soldado

    Davis, Morrison, Ward, Chester

I'm still not convinced Rooney is as close to RVP as everyone here suggests, and with those fixtures Moses could easily outscore Eriksen.

          +1. Overrated as Ramsey is.

Yeah, he's in as a short term punt (unless he continues to surprise, and then maybe he's in for good!)

Both sound like a great plan. Much will depend on the Manc derby.

I agree both are good. Its hard to assess the relative difference between Moses and Eriksen at the moment but both are good picks.

    Ok my team is...

    Migs, Lewis
    Merts, Walker, Wilson, Chester, Burner
    Wally, Michu, Eriksen, Barfa, Whittingham/Ravel
    Giroud, Bentekkers, Studgeface

If I go with Ravel, it'll make it easier for me to get Roonpig in the future
