Tottenham and Arsenal justify their lofty league positions by supplying us with some eye-catching statistics over the weekend. Michu’s goal threat against Palace, Southampton’s defensive solidity and Chelsea’s attacking midfield trio also come under our analytical eye in this week’s regular sift through the data for members.

Wenger on Wally (from BBC): "He had a test before the game and I decided to play him but he had a little problem before the Marseille game (last week) and it then became a bit worse. It's a bit mysterious, because we don't really know what it is."
Really hope Wally didn't aggravate the strain by playing in the CL game. Damn.Open Controls-
I just want to know what it is by tonight so I can deal with it without price changes.
Open Controls-
I wish we knew sth more about him by tonight, as my WC depends on his fitness.

Hope it's not a confidence thing. The medical team can't find anything wrong, it could be hypochondria :-|.

Not too bad. Awful DGW1 as per usual but I seem to be on OK form since. How's your season going?

Looks like Michu and Rooney will both go up tonight. But I can only afford one.

Did anyone fall more places than me the last few days? Inside the top 10k on Friday evening, now sat at 146k.

Bad one. I managed 27. If we can fall so far then technically we can rise so far...right?
Open Controls -
I just looked at your team...wow,i thought i had it bad with my drop. 350ish in GW1 to 260,000.
Seriously mate, condolences! I feel your pain.Open Controls

I prefer goal scorers over assisters. I'm hoping Giroud and Wally will get a sizable share of the Arsenal goals, and they are at kinder prices than Ozil. The German won't assist 3 every game, so is likely to miss out on baps in scoring games to the goal scorers.
My 2 pence worth anyway.Open Controls-
agree completely
Open Controls -
Agree sticking with Wally, unless he is injured for 2 weeks or more.
Open Controls -
also with Walcott around, I can see Englishman to "steal" from him some corners and/or FKs...
Open Controls -
Generally I'd think similarly, but Ozil will score something most gameweeks which is invaluable.
Not getting him in for a hit this week though if Walcott is out, think I'll have to go with MichuOpen Controls -
i have all 3 now, will decide later.

Guys can I please have some advice whether I should wildcard or not
Mig
Coleman, Collins, Zab, (chester, ward)
Theo, HBA, Lampard, Nani, (JWP)
Soldado, Rooney, Sturridge
I have already used my FT Benteke > Rooney
If Theo remains injured im in real trouble.
I also got 17 points last week. I have plummetedOpen Controls-
Nani may get a start over Young after that terrible game yesterday.
Lampard should start, but who knows that. I just don't feel what Jose is doing - letting Lukaku go, Mata & Luiz out of favour, and now Lampard bench 2nd time in a row in EPL game...
IMO even if Walcott is out for a longer time, just take a hit and WC not neededOpen Controls

Theo in no danger of dropping just yet.
Hold fire people.Open Controls -
If wally has a bad injury i have found my replacement.
Ya Ya Toure
Perfect choice for me as only 1 person in my ML has him.Open Controls-

Need your comment on my WC team lads! Hovering around 1mil ranking.
Vorm (4.0)
Terry, Ferdinand, Baines, Dawson, Turner(Cardiff)
Michu, Oscar, BenArfa, Whittingham, Delph4.5
Rooney, Sturridge, Giroud
Going to play between 4-3-3 most of the times. Baines can be counted as a midfielder anyway.
Any help greatly appreciated!Open Controls-
front 3 very good. you need ozil/wally in midfield, sell baines for cash maybe

With all the big name injuries I hope that means Chester will not drop before next GW. I have him but don't want to deal with him just yet.
Open Controls -
Any word on how long Stekelenberg and Hughes are likely to remain out for? Tempted by Stockdale or Amorebieta on a WC..
Open Controls -
"With a maximum speed of 22.2 mph Walcott from Arsenal is ahead of Antonio Valencia from Manchester United FC with 21.9 mph and ahead of the 100 million euro man Gareth Bale who recorded 21.6 mph."

I just hope that means he is as fast at recovering xDOpen Controls -

Mig Lewis
Dawson vidic kos CHESTER gabbidon
WALLY michu Brady Hba Jwp
RVP BENTEKE giroud
4 injured and 1 freebie. Thinking Wally and Rvp out for?Open Controls -
If Walcott's injury is an "abdominal tear" as some are saying (and it does sound like it, based on what Wenger has said thus far), it does means that it's likely a sports hernia (athletic pubalgia for my fellow science types) which he probably further aggravated by playing the CL match. If so, it will be a minimum of 3 weeks before we see him back. Maximum of 6 weeks if he needs surgery.
Open Controls -
Any advise on this be great. Have 2FTs and 0 in the bank
Mignolet, given
koscelney, Chester, Collins, vidic, Coleman,
Wally, HBA, Brady, ward-p, Nolan
RVP, giroud, Sturridge
What changes should I make?Open Controls-
for me, RVP to anyone - Aguero? Suarez? and use the funds to upgrade your midfield.
Probably heresy here though....Open Controls

Walcott to yaya for -4?
Open Controls -
Walcotts injury is a total balls. I really want to do benteke to Suarez and hba to Oscar or yaya. Should I go ahead and if he doesn't play I just play barkley instead?
Open Controls -
Has the Mikel bandwagon not taken off yet? I think he's due an Aaron Ramsey style run of form 😀
Open Controls -
Who would you say are the top five midfield options in fpl? I think, in no particular order:
Walcott
Ozil
Oscar
Michu
+1 of: silva, mirallas, lamela, LampardOpen Controls -
Another person with a dodgy GW and wondering I if should WC. One red flag and 3 yellow flags in here!
Boruc Mannone
Turner Ivan Coleman Clyne Brayford
Barfa Silva Wally Hernandez Jedinak
Benteke Giroud SoldadoOpen Controls-
I would WC that lot........Mannone, Brayford, Turner (if Norwich), Hernandez, Jedinak and Soldado all need to go. Probably HBA as well.....maybe even Silva. ANd Benteke if injured longer than two GW's
Open Controls-
Thanks I thought as much but was worried I was just knee-jerking cos I had such a bad GW!
Open Controls-
Soldado does not need to go. He might be someone you want to move out for someone else, but there is nowhere close to a NEED for him to go. Confusing want and need can really mess up your decision making. Might be true of some of the rest on that list as well.

if Theo is injured I may have to abandon project RvP and Rooney. With Theo out of the picture who else is there to score the goals bar Giroud? (I have Ramsey as well)
Open Controls -
Currently have Baines and Oscar. On WC and thinking of Ozil and Walker instead. Good idea?
