With leagues across Fantasy Premier League (FPL), Sky Sports and Sun Dream Team there is plenty to catch up on following the international break. We look at those who have excelled during Gameweek 5 and those who are a little richer after having a great week in our PlayON game.

Fantasy Premier League

We have a new entry straight in at top spot in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game. Hemant Gosavi racked up 57 points last weekend, with Chelsea duo Oscar and John Terry both returning double-figure hauls, while Swansea’s Ben Davies and Arsenal’s in-form Aaron Ramsey also produced as Hemant clinched fifth spot in the overall standings, with 378 points so far.

Tarik Alibou sits in second after a Gameweek 5 score of 59. Seven of his players scored five points or more, with Yaya Toure, Per Mertesacker, Ross Barkley and Davies his chief protagonists. Stuart Hartley slips to third despite double-figure hauls from both Michu and Mesut Ozil in midfield, Ed C rockets into fourth in the Scout league after an incredible 82 points last weekend and Hafisi Nazir completes the top five, sitting on 359 points overall. Thanks to the efforts of our featured managers, Fantasy Football Scout remains at the top of the best leagues – the code to join is 1580-1106.

Wasana Busby moves to the top of the Fantasy Football Scout Members league with an overall score of 340 – Barkley, Toure, Terry and Jan Vertonghen all delivered last weekend. Corey Silveira slips to second after a 40-point haul in Gameweek 5, while Ivan Heneghan is a new entry in third spot – Per Mertesacker and Michu were his main performers from the previous weekend’s action.

In the Contributors and Moderators league, Andy is back at the top, with his faith in big-money defenders Vertonghen and Leighton Baines proving a wise decision. Big Dunc moves into second after playing his wildcard – the decision to captain Ozil harvested 28 of his 65 points in Gameweek 5.

Sky Sports Fantasy Football

Nick Whitrid remains in pole position in our Sky Sports league. Having reached the summit last week, he has now moved 22 points ahead of second-placed Leo Reid on 435 points; Nick in joint-sixteenth in the overall standings. In third place in the Scout league is Josie O’Neil, who is four points off Leo on 409 points. The winner of our Sky league, which is top of the league of leagues, wins £1,000. To join, visit Sky Sports Fantasy Football and key in League Name: FFScout, League Code: 8000112.

The Sun Dream Team

Lee Walpole remains at the top of our Sun Dream Team with a score of 431 points – his ploy to load up on six Spurs and three Arsenal players has certainly proven the correct tactic so far. Paul Williams is back in second on 397 points – all 11 of his players are from Tottenham – while John David Nicol takes third spot, with all but two of his players representing the north London duo. To join visit The Sun Dream Team, league name: Fantasy Football Scout, password: ReWOZhn1T1 and PIN: 8061654.

PlayON

Chris Robinson was the winner of PlayON’s £1,000 guaranteed game last weekend. He picked up a haul of £300 thanks to his decision to load up on three of Chelsea’s backline and Leighton Baines, while Stephane Sessegnon, Bacary Sagna and Yohan Cabaye – all highlighted in our picks article last week – ensured Chris was in the money. Tony Biswas earned second spot and a cash prize of £200, while Lionel Payne’s third place finish resulted in a £119 pay-out.

In our exclusive Fantasy Football Scout PlayON £2 game a total of £114 was on the table. Chris Robinson cleaned up here, too, earning £39.74, while Paul Thornden (£26.64) and Jason Turner (£20.16) took second and third spot respectively.

Not the best options to be honest. Do you not have any City, United or Liverpool players?

Its a draft team so my options are limited to these three. I do have Mignolet, Fernandinho and Sakho but I don't see any points coming from there. Torn between A and B if I'm honest. Thanks for your help.

Go for Lambert so, Soldado is a non runner against the watertight Chelsea defence and whilst Mirallas may do well this weekend he still has only one assist all season so not exactly captain material.

I suppose the best way is to wait for the newspapers team sheets to come out on Saturday morning before deciding if he should play. I doubt Chelsea would want Everton to play Lukaku every game especially since he's still a young lad.

I agree that he is a good 3rd striker option. I'm not quite buying the 3 heavy hitter strikers idea. I like one mid range and 2 heavy hitters. Just think he is too much of a rotation risk at present.

Plenty have sold this week for a hit. He would cover the -4 needed. RVP has killed me in the 2 weeks I've had him.

Not worth it if he's only out one GW, Morrison could do good this GW. I'd just (c) Sturridge.

The extra 3.2 in the bank could be very handy though! Plus I would miss out big time if Rooney goes mental. Just hope Van persie is apssed fit and saves me thuis dilemma!

It will cost you 4 points, it's a risk, you went RVP for a reason, your plan was a 14M striker and you built the rest of your team around that. Anybody could use the 3.2M, of course 🙂

Yuupp... that was a better fixture than this as well. He could blank, I don't think he will but he could blank and Morrison could get returns.

    Hey Guys.
    Good Afternoon.

    Please help me out.

    This is my current Backline.

    Migs / Daniels

Enrique , Fonte, Terry, Baines. / Chester.

    Just did Coleman to Terry.
How do you rate my defense?

Should i immediately take an action to replace Chester and do you think replacing Daniels is necessary?

Not on a WC. No free transfers left.

    Thanks in advance.

Chocolove, I seem to have inadvertently derailed your thread on the last page. I wouldn't make either of those moves for a hit. While I'd sell Silva, Nasri is a short term move and those sort of hits tend to go badly. Taking a hit to sell a nailed on penalty taker with good fixtures for a rotation risk in Negredo sounds dodgy to me.

I expect City to beat Villa comfortably but remember their away form has been poor so far.

In the Hull daily mail Bruce said Brady is better this week than last week.

Bruce said if the op is required it can be sorted quicker these days and it may be sorted during int break as Roi are out of WC

    I'm keeping Brady

    Morning Gents, really need advice..
Pretty peed off with myself for missing all the price rises on Ozil, Rooney, Ramsey etc but such is life..
Wasn't gonna play my WC but I think I have to now, team as it stands is -4...

    Migs - Boruc
Coleman - Yang Mbwia - Chester - Ward - Bennet
    Walcott - Brady - Barkley - Michu - Moses
    RVP - Lambert - Lukaku

    Suggest WC team is
    Migs - Boruc
    Coleman - Nasty - Wilson - Clyne - Amorbieta
    Ozil - Michu - Eriksen - Brady - Barkley
    Giroud - Rooney - Lukaku

Should i hold off until next week (and take advantage of rises) or hold as long as possible or play it now to get the above team... Chester, Ward, Bennet, Walcott, RVP all looking like out this weekend and prices dropping!!
