With leagues across Fantasy Premier League (FPL), Sky Sports and Sun Dream Team there is plenty to catch up on following the international break. We look at those who have excelled during Gameweek 5 and those who are a little richer after having a great week in our PlayON game.

Fantasy Premier League

We have a new entry straight in at top spot in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game. Hemant Gosavi racked up 57 points last weekend, with Chelsea duo Oscar and John Terry both returning double-figure hauls, while Swansea’s Ben Davies and Arsenal’s in-form Aaron Ramsey also produced as Hemant clinched fifth spot in the overall standings, with 378 points so far.

Tarik Alibou sits in second after a Gameweek 5 score of 59. Seven of his players scored five points or more, with Yaya Toure, Per Mertesacker, Ross Barkley and Davies his chief protagonists. Stuart Hartley slips to third despite double-figure hauls from both Michu and Mesut Ozil in midfield, Ed C rockets into fourth in the Scout league after an incredible 82 points last weekend and Hafisi Nazir completes the top five, sitting on 359 points overall. Thanks to the efforts of our featured managers, Fantasy Football Scout remains at the top of the best leagues – the code to join is 1580-1106.

Wasana Busby moves to the top of the Fantasy Football Scout Members league with an overall score of 340 – Barkley, Toure, Terry and Jan Vertonghen all delivered last weekend. Corey Silveira slips to second after a 40-point haul in Gameweek 5, while Ivan Heneghan is a new entry in third spot – Per Mertesacker and Michu were his main performers from the previous weekend’s action.

In the Contributors and Moderators league, Andy is back at the top, with his faith in big-money defenders Vertonghen and Leighton Baines proving a wise decision. Big Dunc moves into second after playing his wildcard – the decision to captain Ozil harvested 28 of his 65 points in Gameweek 5.

Sky Sports Fantasy Football

Nick Whitrid remains in pole position in our Sky Sports league. Having reached the summit last week, he has now moved 22 points ahead of second-placed Leo Reid on 435 points; Nick in joint-sixteenth in the overall standings. In third place in the Scout league is Josie O’Neil, who is four points off Leo on 409 points. The winner of our Sky league, which is top of the league of leagues, wins £1,000. To join, visit Sky Sports Fantasy Football and key in League Name: FFScout, League Code: 8000112.

The Sun Dream Team

Lee Walpole remains at the top of our Sun Dream Team with a score of 431 points – his ploy to load up on six Spurs and three Arsenal players has certainly proven the correct tactic so far. Paul Williams is back in second on 397 points – all 11 of his players are from Tottenham – while John David Nicol takes third spot, with all but two of his players representing the north London duo. To join visit The Sun Dream Team, league name: Fantasy Football Scout, password: ReWOZhn1T1 and PIN: 8061654.

PlayON

Chris Robinson was the winner of PlayON’s £1,000 guaranteed game last weekend. He picked up a haul of £300 thanks to his decision to load up on three of Chelsea’s backline and Leighton Baines, while Stephane Sessegnon, Bacary Sagna and Yohan Cabaye – all highlighted in our picks article last week – ensured Chris was in the money. Tony Biswas earned second spot and a cash prize of £200, while Lionel Payne’s third place finish resulted in a £119 pay-out.

In our exclusive Fantasy Football Scout PlayON £2 game a total of £114 was on the table. Chris Robinson cleaned up here, too, earning £39.74, while Paul Thornden (£26.64) and Jason Turner (£20.16) took second and third spot respectively.

Who to get rid of for Enrique on wildcard?

    A) Terry
    B) Walker

Why would you ditch Enrique? He's potentially OOP until GJ returns. He was so good attackingly versus United, unlucky not to get attacking returns.

Mmm. I have had a think, and I think that I will switch to a permanent 433 - at least until Christmas.

Not enough midfielders are rocking my boat - and I can't really make up my mind about the strikers!

So, I have taken in an orphan MUN defender, and dropped Paulinho.

If Brady is fecked, I may get Shelvey.

Shelvey, now that is a flair pick.

Fair point about 4-3-3, I'm in the 'I can't see it lasting' camp though.

    Latest attempt:

    Mignolet // Lewis

    Vidic // Dawson // Clyne // Turner // Rosenoir

    Özil // Michu // Eriksen // Barkley // Morrison

    Rooney // Suarez // Giroud

Criticisms? It involves transferring out Coleman which doesn't feel right, but 0 in the bank

Thoughts on this WC team if RVP is ruled out:

    DDG, Alnwick
    Evra, Rafael, Baines, Wilson, Clyne
    Ozil, Michu, Moses, Barkley, Brady
    Lukaku, Giroud, Sturridge

Would be playing 4-3-3 most weeks

Been a bit nervy this week as my team is in something of a state of flux..I've ended up with three Spurs against Chelsea (Walker, Paulinho, Eriksen). Given the chance that Moses will play in the hole against Sunderland for Suarez's return then Eriksen > Moses ? (long term the Eriksen spot is Walcotts in my team)...Sound good ?

No...just heading towards a Paulinho/Michu/Oscar/Walcott/Barkley midfield......and then stick for now so i've got a couple of weeks gap before Wally's return. Eriksen is a good pick but those other three big mids will outdo him maybe...and i really like Paulinho's play and stats.

I have had a long look at the fixtures with a bent eye, and I think that three Spurs is foolish. Indeed, I have gone from two to one, presently.

What must be considered is a MUN defender, imo.

looks like we may need 1 more person for the FFS FA Cup as someone didn't put their fpl link but instead just put http://fantasy.premierleague.com/my-team/ 😕

first person to respond with a link to their fpl history gets the final spot!

Needing views on Sky Team anyone

      Mignolet
      Coleman, Lovern, Rose
      Shelvey, Hba, Eriksen, HAZARD, WALCOTT
      RVP, SOLDADO

Thinking of replacing players in caps with either -

      A. Hazard, Ozil, Rvp & Soldado
      B. Oscar, Ozil, Rooney & Suarez
      C. Hazard, Ramsey, RVP & Suarez
      D. Oscar, Cazorla, RVP & Suarez

Seems RVP is falling faster than the previous days! Already at 82% with more than 6500 hits today. He will drop tonight if Moyes rules him out.

Cheers Dogba, good shouts - £1m short of doing both though. You got my hopes up!

Suppose it's worth me waiting to see if this news on Brady needing surgery is correct. I could go Ramsey > Erikssen or Brady > Mirallas, or spread the extra and look to upgrade both Brady and Colback.

It seems risky to take a chance on Brady if he's gonna get an op at some point. Why not toss Whitt in for him. Ramsey is doubtful for the weekend, I'd do...

Ramsey -> Moses, Brady -> Whitt, Colback -> Mirallas. Possible?

Nah, you can't... Colback is really cheap. Uhm... I just think Colback and Brady combo will hurt you. It's really thin. Maybe downgrade Walker -> Mert or something, free up some midfield money.

Or stick with your gut and keep the team, it looks solid overall as it is 🙂

                  Ozil Michu Eriksen Whitt Colback
                  Rooney Studge Giroud

Think it's the best I'll get - I just don't trust the Arse defence enough to go with Mert.

Definite improvement, but you're still relying on points from Whitt or Colback the weeks you don't want to play 4-3-3.

Hadn't heard that news on Ramsey - further vindicates the WC! £0.9m short of those three moves, but cheers for the suggestions.

Whittingham is a great call so he's in. Beyond that I think it comes down to whether I'm going 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 - either way it seems wise to keep Colback and invest the extra elsewhere.

That's my Friday taken care of!

      Hi world.

Would you take another hit (allready on -4) to swap out Walcott for Eriksen/Ôzil?
My alternative is playing Koscielny vs SWA (A) or Redmond STK (A).

      Thanks in advance;)

Tempted to do tones of transfers. But looks like I will have to wait to do them tomorrow. Tempted by Lambchop, Arnautovic, Schawcross (Have a huge hunch on him), Next week targets are Suarez, Paulinho, Vertongen. Plesea see my team with 4pt hit already is it good to go or I am missing some obvious things like not having first 11.

      Mig
      Hangeland Lovren Coleman Vidic
      Brady Whitts Ozil Lampard
      Rooney (C) Sturridge (VC)
bench: Benteke Redomnd Wisdom. Have a lot of money in the bank around 3m

      Comments are appreciated..
