The Gameweek continues with a pair of Sunday encounters, beginning at the Britannia as Mark Hughes transformed Stoke outfit take on troubled Norwich. Following that, Liverpool have the opportunity to make up ground on the early pace setters as they make the trip to the Stadium of Light to face rock bottom Sunderland under the stewardship of Kevin Ball.

The early team news sees Hughes name an unchanged XI from the side that lost at Arsenal last weekend. This sees site cult favourite Marko Arnautovic line up on the Potters’ left, while Erik Pieters has recovered from the problem that kept him out of the midweek cup win over Tranmere. Peter Crouch and Stephen Ireland warm the bench again after both found the net in Wednesday’s win over the lower league side.

For Norwich, Chris Hughton makes as many as four alterations after last weekend’s home defeat at the hands of Villa. Seb Bassong fails to recover from a hamstring injury and drops out along with Javier Garrido, Nathan Redmond and Johan Elmander – Ryan Bennett, Martin Olsson, Alex Tettey and Anthony Pilkington are the replacements. Midweek goal hero Gary Hooper is on the bench again after bagging a brace in the cup win at Watford.

Our Dugout Discussion is now open to cover your real-time chatter requirements right up to the final whistle on Wearside.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

On a powerful 39 for the week

With Lukaku, Coleman and Barfa to come I might break 50 for only the 3rd time this season!

Don't get it. Sturridge out scored Suarez and cost me 2m less. Why would I want to swap a fit Studge for Suarez..? Don't want both.

Unless there is some serious inconsistency within the rules (which I don't agree with btw) then Sturridge will get the winning goal BPS.

49 with three to play when Sturridge (c) bonus and hit taken into account.

I can see Lukaku, HBA and Coleman adding up to 11 points, so that'd be me hitting the magic 60 for the week, which I'm very happy with after a poor period.

I'm in a broadly similar situation in terms of looking at Southampton defence, but I'm aiming to change the doubling up of my Liverpool defence. Currently have Mignolet and Enrique and looking to ship out 1 (probably Enrique) for one of the Southampton backline.

    A) Sturridge and Ramsey

Pros: 1) Looks good on paper and team value keeps rising. 2)No benching headache (3-4-3 all of the time)
    3) Both players on fire now.
    4) Ramsey plays in a much better team than Brady
    5) Can upgrade 5th defender to Clyne

Cons: 1) Sturridge very much injury prone and internationals coming up.
    2) Suarez returning might affect his returns
    3) On long term,Sturridge won't get 20+ league goals and not a guaranteed captain choice especially in big games.
4)Ramsey is not Arsenal's main man and returns will have to dry up when Cazorla,Arteta,Walcott return.

    B) Suarez and Brady

    1) Suarez will be golden boot contender and is very consistent. He is captain material regardless of fixtures
    2) Suarez on some set-pieces.
    3) Brady is Hull's main main and is on set-pieces and pens

    Cons:
    1) Hull will probably be in relegation battle and Brady returns might dry up
    2) Benching headache (Brady needs to be benched in difficult games)
    3) Faye as my 5th defender instead of Clyne

    Conclusion: I don't know!!!

    Any help please 🙂 ?

    Making game winning goal simple

    1-0 win. . . . . Obvious

    2-0 win . . . . . First goal

    2-1 gets complicated

    Say team a score 2 team b score 1

There are two scenarios. If team a scores first goal, then team b equalised then second goal is gwg
If team a scored two then later team b score a goal team a first goal is gwg

Ie the last goal that gave winning team the lead
