The Gameweek continues with a pair of Sunday encounters, beginning at the Britannia as Mark Hughes transformed Stoke outfit take on troubled Norwich. Following that, Liverpool have the opportunity to make up ground on the early pace setters as they make the trip to the Stadium of Light to face rock bottom Sunderland under the stewardship of Kevin Ball.

The early team news sees Hughes name an unchanged XI from the side that lost at Arsenal last weekend. This sees site cult favourite Marko Arnautovic line up on the Potters’ left, while Erik Pieters has recovered from the problem that kept him out of the midweek cup win over Tranmere. Peter Crouch and Stephen Ireland warm the bench again after both found the net in Wednesday’s win over the lower league side.

For Norwich, Chris Hughton makes as many as four alterations after last weekend’s home defeat at the hands of Villa. Seb Bassong fails to recover from a hamstring injury and drops out along with Javier Garrido, Nathan Redmond and Johan Elmander – Ryan Bennett, Martin Olsson, Alex Tettey and Anthony Pilkington are the replacements. Midweek goal hero Gary Hooper is on the bench again after bagging a brace in the cup win at Watford.

Our Dugout Discussion is now open to cover your real-time chatter requirements right up to the final whistle on Wearside.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I really think Sturridge vs Suarez is going to be a coin-flip every game. May as well just go for the cheaper option.

They will both score well, no question. I am going Suarez because he never gets hurt while Sturridge often does. Admittedly, Sturridge is less prone to biting and racially abusing opponents.

Both will score plenty of points but if you have Sturridge it's harder to switch to Suarez should form or injury dictate you should change.

Own Suarez and he gets banned for doing something stupid again and it's easier to drop back to Sturridge without having to change as much elsewhere.

    Frontline Giroud Rooney Sturridge
    2.4M in the bank
    I have Ozil too

    A) Sturridge --> Suarez ( I have no doubt Suarez will outscore Danny at the end)
    B) Giroud --> Suarez (Giroud has to play Champions League, it's minus point for him, while Sturridge doesnt play Eurpa League). Injury prone is minus point for Sturridge, sometime he gets a mystery knock
    C) leave it

      12 games, Suarez 9 goals 4 assists.

      Sturridge 7 goals 6 assists.

Sturridge less minutes and 2 less starts in those 2 games.

Lack of any width/speed(Walcott/AOC) is really affecting Giroud imo. He is best at meeting crosses at the near post and very rarely makes runs behind defenders. Arsenal are playing down the middle of the pitch more often now, that's probably good for assists but not for scoring when it comes to Giroud.

Current strikeforce of giroud, rooney and sturridge

Would it be stupid to transfer out rooney for suarez??

Time will tell, I would say stay with Rooney, all three are delivering. United are playing terrible but they will still score and Rooney will be involved most of the time.

FPL should create a rule whereby there's a 10 point bonus for any Daniel Sturridge goals or assists with the RIGHT foot. I think Sturridge must be the most one footed player ive ever seen.

And when you take into account the fact that he can't head, he's not doing too bad!

Balls...what happened to the baps there?!

At full time Suarez and Studge were joint on 19bps.

Was changed to 18, 16 respectively.

    What caused this adjustment?

Studge owner here and feel like I've had a point robbed.

    Cheers

Eriksen should be dealt with as a matter of urgency.

      Eriksen > Ramsey
