With leagues across the Fantasy Premier League (FPL), Sky Sports, and Sun Dream Team games, there is plenty to catch up on this afternoon. We also look at those who are a little richer after having a great week in our PlayON game.

Fantasy Premier League

Hemant Gosavi holds steady at the Scout league summit after a 46-point haul last time around. Captain Daniel Sturridge led the way with 18 points, while Yaya Toure and Oscar also delivered as Hemant moved to 14th overall on 491 points– he has now activated his wildcard over the international break.

Ed C stays in second after registering 52 points last time around. He also handed Sturridge the armband and had Toure amongst his midfield, with Romelu Lukaku and Artur Boruc also key to his Gameweek as Ed climbed to 31st spot in the overall standings.

Rory Stoneman moves into third spot despite captaining Roberto Soldado against West Ham. He had Sturridge, Toure, Loic Remy, Sascha Riether and Mamadou Sakho to thank for a 58 point return which took him to 56th on 478 points. Hafizi Nasir is fourth after a 56 point showing in the Gameweek gone by, whilst Julian M completes the top five after doubling up on Sturridge and Luis Suarez at home to Palace. The code to join up is 1580-1106.

In the Fantasy Football Scout members league, Ivan Heneghan moves up from third into first spot thanks to a 54 point Gameweek. He also had Sturridge as captain and Toure in midfield, though called up the likes of Eden Hazard, Kevin Nolan and Jose Enrique to boost his score to 448 points overall. Wasana Busby drops to second on 445 points, while Phil Moreton completes the top three after a 59 point haul took him to 444 points overall.

Sky Sports Fantasy Football

Andrew Harvey sits at the Scout League summit with a score of 544 points good enough to earn him 37th position overall. Daniel Brookfield is just five point s behind Andrew in second, while Ben Broadhurst and Leo Reid tie for third spot on 531 points apiece. The winner of our Sky league, which remains second in the league of leagues, wins £1,000. To join, visit Sky Sports Fantasy Football and key in League Name: FFScout, League Code: 8000112.

The Sun Dream Team

Lee Walpole continues to lead the way on a total of 471 points, though his six Tottenham players failed to deliver in the dire home display against West Ham. Rhys Niyazi is also a non-move is second, with a total of 448 points, while Geoff Pryor’s pair of teams take up third and fourth on 443 points and 434 points respectively. To join visit The Sun Dream Team, league name: Fantasy Football Scout, password: ReWOZhn1T1 and PIN: 8061654.

PlayON

Steve Porter triumphed in PlayON’s exclusive Fantasy Football Scout £2 game last time around. His decision to back the Fulham and Villa defences proved a wise one, with Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge also racking up the points in attack. Steve earned £29.26 for his weekend’s work, while second-placed Scott Penny received £19.61 and Paul Jenkins picked up £14.84 for finishing third.

Lukaku way ahead in captain votes. Hull just seem stubborn. It might be better than guessing on which liverpool forward again and getting it wrong.

I thought michu would be higher.

newcastle and liverpool early kick off. What's the rule on that again?

I'm just scarred by the man city home game against them, wasn't easy for city to break them down. They're more likely to be tighter against them than Everton though...dunno,

statistically there is no proof of anything when it comes to the early kick off... people just don't like doing it because they know early whether their captain has failed

Suarez (c) for me - surely going to be goals, Hull got 3 here and they have lost Colo at the back. Might even help Liverpool to be away from home and countering...

Every time (well twice) i captain Suarez it is Sturridge who scores more. It was a humiliating defeat for Newcastle, a freak one at home, Pardew at least will be desperate to avoid a repeat.

Colo out is good though. Also both Suarez and Sturridge were heavily involved in national football, but then so was Lukaku.

I notice you have dismissed the concept of playing keepers 😉 With perhaps the exception of strikers, I am not a fan of broadly listing players as general midsor defenders. Silva for example is streets ahead of YaYa in the roe he provides and position he plays within the midfield. The cb role is distinctly different to the requirements of the modern full back, much of which is attack based.

Totally disagree, he is in the position he commands, however put an average player in Silvas position and Citys overall performances regress. My point is they are both specialists in what they provide.

He's a better overall player than RVP but he is nowhere close to being a better striker. If you took away Rooney's passing ability and defensive work and did the same with RVP, United would be happier letting Rooney go since he just doesn't have good enough striker qualities compared to RVP.

We are talking about the better STRIKER. Why in the world would you take away their finishing ability? Rooney is absolutely a beast in terms of his overall play, especially compared to RVP. I already said that, do you now understand how to read?

You do realise being a better striker is all about anticipation, making runs, being in the right place and having the better finish?

I really wanna captain Terry this week and even have Michu, Rooney and Giroud as options.

I never normally captain defenders..but his CS chances re v.high, bp chances v.high, and goal threat is good.

    Thoughts?

That's true. But keep in mind a defender goal and CS isn't far behind a striker hatrick for example.

          (assuming 3 bp's)

          Striker hatrick is: 3goals (4 x 3) +3 +2= 17
          Defender goal and CS: 6 + 4 + 3 + 2 =15

I can see a Terry cs and goal more likely than a hatty by anyone this weekend..

Nastasic (5.5m and 0 in bank)

Here's my list of players who have no business on your list of players:

Lloris, Mignolet, Boruc, GJ, Rafael, Luiz at CB (would take him at DM though), Vert at CB, Mata, Countinho, Aguero (but only because 3rd best striker seems too far right now, but when he's on form, he's the best in the league)

Blimey, team looks great and no obvious transfers required.

Possibly Whitts -> Ravel to save some cash, as you will rarely start him with the rest of your front 8.

Nasty and Dawson are question marks, but with no cash I can't see any worthwhile trades there.

Why is Nolan ranked so highly in the RMT tool?

9th out of all midfielders over the next 6 (tough fixtures) and with pretty bad stats to boot.

I have him and want rid, but I keep seeing his name crop up in the RMT tool and talk myself out of it!

The " its about the points and not the value" is one of those trendy FPL statements that pops up regularly. The reality is team value goes a long way towards securing the best point scoring options, there is a clear link in the chain.

same. Don't fancy the hull game though, spurs aren't good at home to a team not allowing space. I could get in michu, but i just got eriksen, he has to pay me back before he's off.

    Any news on Ozil injury?

Thinking of Ozil & Barfa > Michu & Oscar (-4)

I think that Rafael is one of the most important player for united, a bit like Coleman for united.
His presence provide another outlet for united with his overlapping run.

with his return, united will be on another level

Top player. They certainly miss him.
Well it would be difficult for them to go down another level

Is it madness to take Nani for United cover? Januzaj isn't bad either rite?

If Januzaj proves enough cover for Utd I'll actually be quite mad...having spent almost 10m more on van P.

I had RVP from the beginning, captained almost every week. That completely backfired. Plus he doesn't seem worth 14m this season

He isn't. I've made a rod for my own back.

I personally wouldn't touch either. Januzaj if you gotta choose one, mostly because he;s so cheap
