    As a Spurs fan, hopefully will be proved wrong but except a really turgid, pedestrian performance today, similar to first half hour vs Villa.

    No Dembele, who really helps us get up the pitch with his great ball carrying ability and accurate passing.
    Would have Eriksen over Holtby
    Lennon is not suited to the left, doesn't have a good enough shot to be an inverted winger, much better as a traditional winger.
    Kind of hoping for Lennon right, Townsend left, crosses would benefit Soldado
    Probably no need for Sandro today vs very depleted opposition.
    All on Townsend to provide the spark again.

      No reported injuries, but he was starting every game about a month ago, Europa and Prem, and now isn't playing in either, not sure whats happened there

      Laudrup was very supportive of him after the Liverpool game, when he had a hand in all 4 goals in the 2-2 draw, and stuck with him, and he kept delivering.

    Siggy is toast now then isn't he. Plays no minutes in Europa, Lennon and Chadli play, and AVB plays Lennon again three days later instead of playing the rested Siggy.

    I've felt Siggy was on death row since the West Ham disaster.

      Moments after Lennon came on for Siggy against Villa, Soldado scored his first goal from open play.

      The best case scenario for me today is that Lennon fails on the left and is hooked off for Siggy early in the second half, whereupon Siggy with a point to prove smashes it in.

        It wasn't that straightforward, but it came true for Eriksen. To my annoyance it didn't come true for Siggy. Presumably the Europa benching was an out of favour benching as opposed to a rest.
