Ravel Morrison is the latest player to climb atop the Suspension Tightrope after picking up a booking for a challenge on Michu in yesterday’s goalless draw at the Liberty:

The Hammers youngster is one of a quartet of protagonists just a single caution away from a one-match ban; he must avoid another yellow until after January 1 (Gameweek 21) in order to trigger an automatic suspension. The others include Arsenal’s Mathieu Flamini and Villa pair Fabian Delph and Ashley Westwood, though in terms of Fantasy interest, Morrison, with two goals and an assist in the last five league games, is the major concern, with a 5% ownership in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game.

Flamini’s potential groin injury, which forced him off after just eight minutes in Saturday’s win at Palace, means he has now gone two appearances without incurring the referee’s wrath, compared to four booking in his first five upon returning to the Emirates.

The Frenchman’s midfield partner Mikel Arteta was also in the headlines after he was dismissed
at Selhurst Park for denying a goalscoring opportunity to former team-mate Marouane Chamakh. Arteta will now serve a one-match ban in the midweek Capital One Cup clash against Chelsea but with Flamini possibly sidelined through injury, Arsene Wenger may not have the chance to rest Aaron Ramsey for the Blues’ showdown as he prepares for a run of games which also pits the Gunners against Liverpool, Dortmund and United over the space of 12 days from tomorrow evening onwards.

There are no less than 28 players bubbling under, all on the three-card mark. Amongst the new arrivals from Gameweek 9, Tottenham’s Paulinho is the most popular pick with an 11% ownership, while Swansea right-back Angel Rangel (2%) and City centre-half Matija Nastasic (1%) remain differentials.

On a bizarre side note, Ryan Shawcross received his second booking of the season for an altercation with Robin Van Persie during Stoke’s 3-2 loss at Old Trafford. Potters boss Mark Hughes was left bemused after the referee in charge, Lee Mason, followed his captain into the away dressing room in order to dish out a yellow card

“Ryan was booked in the dressing room. The referee made a point of knocking on the door and booking him. I’ve no idea why. He pushed him I think but I’ve no idea because I didn’t see the incident but he wanted to book Ryan. I’ve never known anyone get booked in the dressing room before.”

In terms of bans served, Newcastle will welcome back Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa to the fold after the centre-half served a one-match ban in yesterday’s derby defeat to Sunderland – with Fabricio Coloccini and Steven Taylor closing in on injury comebacks, he may face a struggle to make an immediate first-team return.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Problem is there's no stand-out options in that £7m-ish midfield price bracket at the moment... I've got HBA and was looking to dump, but he's probably the best of a bad bunch

A/b are sideways , you need to think outside the box a little . Points are the name of the game ,
IMHO that mf needs 1 more decent player and you may want to consider Aguero it wouldn't surprise me if he got a brace + at the w/e .

I'm thinking Ozil -> Wally when fit as I think he can easily out score Ozil , it will give my defence a cash injection in time.

    Mignolet (K Davis)

Dawson Gibbs Clyne (M Turner, Chester)

    Ozil Michu Silva Whittingham (Barkley)

    Sturridge Lukaku Giroud

-1 , differant kettle of fish , I for one bought him at 10.9 gw7 because
            - nailed on for 90
            - explosive and consistent scores
            - if in doubt capt him home/away
            - should win golden boot
            - the only player ATM I consider essential in FPL

£9.3m player vs Norwich at home, playing for Man City, in light of the other fixtures this weekend, I'd say he was a pretty good shout for captain and certainly not boring

Yes I would agree with that - seems safe , I just feel Silva as a FPL player is a luxury at times , if like more from my 9.3 mf but to be fair very few are delivering this year (so far ) , it's gotta be Aguero , Rooney , Suarez in that order for me if you have them this week.

Haha fair point...was a bit lazy of me.

        Current thoughts are:

        A) Save transfer, re-assess next week.

        B) Giroud -> Benteke. Arsenal's next 3 are horrible, and I'd sell Ozil instead to minimise exposure but I don't quite know who to get to replace him.

        C) Chelsea defender somewhere. Or Cech. Liverpool's defence is just too trustrating now.

Do you have enough to do Suarez for Sturridge ? O/w, not much wrong with that team. The 'small-ball' move would be C.Davies for Chester who looks worth the extra 0.5.

I'd keep Rooney this week - Fulham looked awful against Southampton and he's bang on form.

Sturridge -> Aguero if you have the cash, if not I'd be tempted with either Ozil -> Silva, or if you fancy a risky, a 4 pointer - something like:

HBA & Sturridge -> Amalfitano (if confirmed fit) & Aguero(c)

    B) Ravel (AVL)
    C) Mirallas (TOT)

Form and stats would definitely say Nolan should be on the bench, but he's up against a fairly leaky Villa side, as opposed to a pretty tight defensive outfit in Spurs, plus if Carlton Cole gets a start, which looks likely, there's his lump up front to get scraps from.

Who has the best chance of a CL this week do you think?
W Ham at home to Villa, or Swansea at home for the derby?

So my thoughts are Giroud + Paulinho -> Tekkers + Oscar for -8.

Not a fan of big hits but both of highly better fixtures and I would want them for the long term.

I'd be holding onto Rooney. I can see good things for Both Tekkers and Oscar this weekend and coming fixtures are excellent. Paulinho I believe is a damp squib and Giroud may score but never more than one goal a game...

agreed.tough fixtures coming up; but still, L Shaw is seen as stellar potential, even w/him missing games, he still has gotten 4 bonus and 1 asist. If he stays healthy, he could outperform clyne by a lot no?
obviosuly fonte & lovren will outprform them 2 w/ cb % pass compeltion, more bps, both have 8 bonus and 58/54 p...but i think Shaw could realistically outperform in pts clyne no? or too much risky in shaw getting injured

Having a bench full of players that could perform wel this weekend is causing me a slight headache!!

I have 6 players in contention with only 3 spots to full...

    My current bench is:

    Townsend eve
    Coleman TOT
    Burner swa

    In the starting X1 is:

    Whittingham SWA
    Rangel car
    Shaw sto

Currently at 42% looks more like tues , if you had bought him Sunday you would be up .1 ,
Either way he's peles main man snd has to start .
Norwich must be beaten and he's essential in that.

Please PLEASE just give me the nudge I need to do this (or tell me it's dumb)... Worth pulling the trigger on the following three right now for a 4pt hit?

    Yaya --> Brady
    Giroud --> Aguero
    Sturridge --> Suarez

    That would leave me with:

    Vorm / Marshall
    Baines / Terry / Clyne / Rosenior / Wilson
    Oscar / Ramsey / Michu / Janz / Brady
    Suarez / Aguero / Lukaku

0.1 in the bank and Wilson --> Rat next week

    Thanks!
