      Very rare to go to Ninian and come back to find any windows left in your coach - the area around the ground was basically a wasteground of stones, shooting fish in a barrel for them. It's the darts and the bottles of piss coming your way that you had to avoid...

        Hi CJM - looks like you've replied instead of posting a new topic! Anyway:
        
        Your team looks fine as it is - Arsenal haven't struggled to score and liverpool haven't been great defensively, especially away from home.
        
        As you've got two free transfers, I'd take the opportunity to replace barkley with morrison or others in that price bracket. It looks like Barkley may be dropped more often.

  It very much depends on the rest of your squad. If you have suarez, you could possibly dispense with the services of sturridge. If you have ozil and/or ramsey, then giroud. I'd save the liverpool man's consistency gets him ahead of Giroud, but it's close.

  I'd go Suarez. Difficult to get a midfield captain pick right IMO (unless it's someone like Bale).
  
  I feel like there should be a rule of never captain for midfielders. Like Baines. Good player, but you never know when it'll be his day.
  That being said Silva vs NOR is a pretty solid pick.

  Tough one. Forget about also having Shaw, it shouldn't affect your decision as long as you're going for maximum points in the long run and don't mind some swings in the short term.
  
  I think I'd go for Boruc. Soton have been so strong defensively (and there's no reason it shouldn't continue) and Stoke aren't exactly the best goal-scoring team in the league. Hull really don't have a high chance of keeping a CS and Sunderland aren't awful when it comes to attacking players (Fletcher, Altidore, Johnson can cause damage).

What is your gut telling you to captain for this gameweek?

Mine is telling me to captain Silva. But the armband is still on Suarez

I have always avoided it because I'm scared but it turns out that my gut feeling was always giving the right results.

For example last gameweek my gut telling me to captain Suarez, but I ended up captaining Lukaku.

So, I want to know what do your guts telling you to captain this gameweek.

I really dont get it why all those people who owned Mignolet at the start of this season and claimed he is a season keeper are changing him to Boruc under the pretext of freeing up funds?

There is just a 7 point difference between boruc and Mignolet. And Mignolet is going to have a good run of fixtures whereas Boruc is going to have a patchy run of fixtures. I see Mignolet ending up with a lot more points than Boruc.

  It really depends who your second keeper is. Boruc + Vorm, for example, would be a good combination for the coming weeks and both are considerably cheaper than Mignolet. However, I wouldn't fancy an even more budget option of Boruc + Harper, Myhill, Marshall, Westwood etc

  Looks like a pretty solid team. Attack looks like your weakest area. I'd try getting Giroud/Rooney out even though both are pretty decent. Giroud to Lukaku/Benteke and Rooney to Aguero?
  Difficult removing your big players though. And you probs made some money on Giroud.

  Good team, though not sure about your keepers. Boruc (and Clyne) have tougher fixtures coming up and Ben Foster is targeting a November return, so Myhill's games may be numbered. That would only leave Marshall and Speroni as the fit, first choice 4.5 keepers you could bring in.
