A green arrow offers renewed hope for a stalling Fantasy campaign as I desperately cling to Granville’s coattails. The sixty-point gap gives my co-host plenty to feel smug about and, as he moves to cover my Silva lining in midfield, you can almost sense the desperation in my voice as I’m left “squirming”.

Positive thinking and Granville’s inexplicable urge to keep the armband from Suarez offers a glint of light as I sit down to take another beating over the ScoutCast airwaves. We talk City rotation, Oscar vs Hazard and midfield failings, before assessing this week’s bandwagons and rinsing through the Gameweek fixtures.

    Find it funny people want to sell Giroud for Aguero due to the chance he drops in price in the morning.

    If you made the change yesterday for example then you'd be 0.1 ahead already or 0.2 if before Sunday morning.

    I have Hazard and Oscar at the moment but need to lose one (to be replaced by Sessegnon) in order to fund Giroud to Aguero.
    Which one would you take out?

      oscar is always involved in build-up play and is looking the more consistent too.

      don't get me wrong, hazzy is incredible but he just isn't consistent. Take the double game week at the start of the season, where thousands of people captained him. He disappointed

      so thats 3 for keeping Oscar then....
      the central role does seem to give him an advantage alright, its just that last yrs numbers are nagging away at me.
      Hazard 190 pts from 2626 mins (9 goals 16 assists) and Oscar 117pts from 2292 mins(4 goals 7 assists)....

      I guess its one of those choices that whatever I do will likely be wrong! 🙂

      Aguero looks the man to have this wknd so if I had your team I'd be bringing him in for Rooney. The rest looks good, except maybe doubling on Arsenal for their tough fixture run might cost you points.
      Theres good options for Giroud and Ozil if you wanted to shift one of them
      Benteke would be my choice for Giroud....

      Anyway, just floating all the ideas that are in my head for my team over the nxt few weeks!

    Who do you think will finish the season with more points, Granville or Mark?

    Both HOF ratings are impressive, Granny(330th) and Mark(9th!), but with Granville's large lead it's hard to see a way back for Mark. He seems to have turned from a Dullard to a Maverick this season. Very much the underdog, much to Granville's pleasure 🙂

      I am worried...not by the lead but by the fact that I can't see a problem with Granville's team. I need him to be cursed by an injury or two and be forced to make some tough decisions. Right now, his side is strong and settled and he can just sit back and stretch the lead bit by bit.

      Spurs have only scored more than 1 goal in a league game twice this season (2 in each game) and Everton have been good at home kept it clean against Chelsea

      I'm not an expert but the season is still pretty young
      I went from about 110k to 48k in the very last gameweek, 320k to 3k in 30 gameweeks wouldn't even be that meteoric!

      Haha, I know how you feel. I was 20k last year and last week I was 770k... Fortunately a Suarez C and some great play from others got me 91 points and shot me up to like 315k. That has given me some hope!

      Yeah good captaincies and be effective with the Jan wildcard. Last season the Jan wildcard sorted it for me, rose over 900,000 places from then till the end of the season.

      He's been lively without an end result. Our members article also pointed to some good indicators that he's likely to be in the points soon. Palace looks a good a time as any. A punt for sure but then, with our forwards and defences all so similar, that's kind of what you need now and again.

    Anyone actually watched Ravel Morrison? I had him briefly earlier in the season (good tip Back to Back Ballacks) and saw he was a talented dribbler but he looked over-elaborate and I didn't see end product. Just after selling him he scored two goals from long range and got an assist against City. Considering getting him in as my fifth mid and playing him this week. Is he actually getting chances?

      Yes i watched the game v swansea and i was impressed.

      Some nice runs from midfield and had 1 good chance which he missed.

        Thought about this but actually it's no problem benching him one game as my 5th mid. If anything that's one less benching dilemma.

      I really like watching him, but he does drift in and out of games. I think he is really talented but rather unpredictable in terms of how often he will get in the right positions.

        Yeah I saw that, he seemed to go missing a bit then wake up and dribble past multiple players.

        I watched them before getting him in, unfortunately as he hadn't kicked a Prem ball at the time all there was, was youth matches. Might have another look now...

          The problem i have with him is that i have never played him until this weekend but had him from week 1. In all reality i wouldn't have played him against spurs or city anyway.
