With leagues across the Fantasy Premier League (FPL), Sky Sports and Sun Dream Team we have plenty to analyse before tomorrow’s deadlines. We also look at those who are a little richer after having a great week in our PlayON game and offers a head-up for the first Fantasy Football Scout Cup competition of the season.

Fantasy Premier League

David Wilson climbs to the top of the Scout League thanks to an 83-point haul last weekend. His decision to captain Luis Suarez proved crucial, whilst Roberto Soldado and Olivier Giroud chipped in with a goal apiece as David moved to 27th spot overall on 624 points.

Cavan McDonald climbs to second after racking up 84 points in Gameweek 9. He also captained Suarez and picked up points from Sergio Aguero and Daniel Sturridge up top, whilst his tactic of doubling up on Southampton at the back paid off once again.

Henry Carpenter Clawson also moved up the rankings thanks to captain Suarez. Leighton Baines, Michael Dawson and doubling up on the Saints backline helped him rack up four clean sheets – he sits on 615 points overall.

Hemant Gosavi is knocked off the summited after a 62-point Gameweek. Despite eight of his players scored five or more points, his lack of a certain Uruguayan proved costly, while Craig Gavin completes the top five after his Suarez-led team accrued 89 points. The code to join up is 1580-1106.

In the Fantasy Football Scout members league, Wasana Busby climbs back to the top, with captain Suarez, Wayne Rooney and Jan Vertonghen helping him to 91 points last time around. Second spot goes to Angga Haqqu, yet another to hand the Liverpool man the armband, while James Floyd takes third after captaining Suarez and doubling up on the Swansea defence.

Sky Sports Fantasy Football

Ben Broadhurst remains at the top of the Scout League. Having taken over as the leader last week, he has now extended his advantage to 73 points over Leo Reid and Michael Galbraithin joint-second spot – Ben has now climbed up to third in the overall standings and has a total of 747 points, just 14 points from the summit. The winner of our Sky league, which sits in second spot in the league of leagues, wins £1,000. To join, visit Sky Sports Fantasy Football and key in League Name: FFScout, League Code: 8000112.

Sun Dream Team

Rhys Niyazi remains in top spot on 586 points, with five Tottenham players and a couple from Arsenal helping him stave off the threat of Lee Walpole, who is just a single point behind. Jonathan David Nicol is a non-mover in third, as he continues to benefit from the decision to opt for an all-Tottenham defence. To join visit The Sun Dream Team, league name: Fantasy Football Scout, password: ReWOZhn1T1 and PIN: 8061654.

PlayON

Brian Bunclark took first spot in PlayON’s exclusive Fantasy Football Scout £2 game last time around. He picked up £49.68 after opting for five Liverpool players in the 4-1 home win over West Brom, while Gary Pawson and Matti Maata earned £33.30 and £25.20 for finishing second and third respectively.

Fantasy Football Scout Cup

As mentioned last week, we play to roll out entry for the first Scout Cup of the season, with the qualifying round in Gameweek 11. Watch out for an article over the next 24-hours which will explain how to submit your team.

The difference is that Ozil stopped huffing paint thinner by that age. At least his eyes point in the same direction 😉

For the last 2 years RVP has been as close to must have as possible. If he returns to that form he may be nice to already have him and not have to make 5 transfers to get him in. I couldn't make the cash for him.

Robin flying under the radar, if he was anymore under the radar he'd be invisible. Totally ignored this week it seems. Is there any explanation at all for this? All the focus on Aguero maybe?

BUT saying that, people are seeing Suarez, Rooney and Silva above him to.

Suarez and Aguero had big weeks. With Rooney playing just as well, cheaper, plus at 13.9 he is out of most price range.

Forget about price for just a second. He is being ignored. Is he even in this game anymore?

2 goals in 2 games. He is every bit an option as Rooney is this week.

why forget about price? if you simply cannot afford a player of course you are going to ignore. by the same token, if he was cheap but scoring no goals you wouldn't just say, forget about his strike rate a second, he is cheap

Price is everything. If RVP was priced the same as Rooney, Aguero, and Saurez. The 2 goals in 2 games would bring a lot more notice. But his price make you sacrifice in other areas that aren't worth it if you can have the previously mentioned front 3

He'll stay under the radar...to have him it needs a bit of compromise in defence and mids..by doing the same sort of compromise teams are emerging with Aguero/Suarez/Rooney...no competition...

simple explanation is that a lot of us have sold him in recent weeks, and our focus has been on what to do with all that extra cash. once you sell rvp, you're not really thinking of buying him again soon, not until you've realised it's all been a horrible mistake.
