City’s in-form frontman continues to catch the eye. Newcastle’s on-loan forward also impresses, while we cast an eye over a couple of midlands-based midfielders and assess attacking threat from the back over this weekend and the last six Gameweeks:

Need some advice, please, deadzoners:
My current squad is:
Mignolet 4.0
Evra Coleman Walker Chico Chester
Ozil Michu Ramsey Brady Ward-Prowse
Aguero Suarez Lukaku
Want to do Michu -> Silva, but have nothing the bank, so need to raise 0.6 at least. What do you think a good way of doing that is?
Possibles were doing Evra -> Nasty or Rat, or even Walker -> Dawson (which seems very sideways). There's also Ozil -> Oscar/Hazard. Thoughts? Other ideas?Open Controls-
Nice team J.
I'd do Özil -> Oscar as Arsenal fixtures get pretty tough.Open Controls -
Keep Ozil, Jim, He will score well in FPL.
Prefer the defender's route to Aguero as they are lowest scorers.
Rat has the fixxies and is 4.5. Evra->Rat.Open Controls-
Yeah, I was initially tempted to lose Ozil, but think it might be crazy. Oxil -> Walcott when Walcott is back and established may be the way I eventually go.
Rat was subbed on 90 mins on Saturday - that was just tactical (chasing a goal), right? Don't want to bring him in and then get an unwelcome discovery!Open Controls -
+1
Open Controls
-
-
Downgrade Coleman > debuchney / vlaar /rat / clyne / hull
or walker to any of the above or even KosOpen Controls
-
-
Giroud-> Sturridge
and
Michu-> Rambo (-4)
Yay/Nay???Open Controls-
yay, but i'd prefer suarez.
Open Controls -
Assume you don't have Suarez? What about aguero?
Michu > Ramsey is a good move
If you need a good captain choice this weekend then Sturridge is 3rd best choice other than the above mentioned imo and may be worth the hit.Open Controls-
look down a few posts to see my team if I carry out the transfers, have both Aguero and Suarez and already 3 Arsenal so have to drop 1 to get Ramsey in
Open Controls-
I see your difficulty. Normally would not be worth a hit but michu forcing your hand and assume you can't afford a trade up to Oscar without a hit anyway and mo good cheaper options other than ramsey so go for your life!

Who to bench this week?
Ramsey (utd)
Ozil
Morrison (nor)
Barkley (pal)
I'm thinking Ozil at the moOpen Controls-
😯 i have all 4 & oscar, but surely not Ozil.
Open Controls-
-
bark or ravel.
Open Controls
-
-
-
I know it seems crazy to bench Ramsey but you can make a strong case for Morrison, Barkley and Ozil scoring and scoring well
Open Controls-
you can also make a case for Barkley being on the bench
Open Controls
-
-
Barkley
Open Controls -
Will Barkley start?
Open Controls
-
-
Would you double up ManC, Arsenal, Liverpool or Chelsea attack?
I already have Aguero, Ramsey, Suarez and Hazard.
This week I'm going to get rid of Michu. Which one would you pick?
A) Silva
B) Özil
C) Coutinho
D) OscarOpen Controls-
-
big fan, eh? 😉
Open Controls-
Look at his game stats: heavily influential in the final third and a proven ff player. 36 pts in 3 home games suggests he is becoming a viable captain option.
Open Controls-
great stats for owners like us.
the big question is, do we replace him with a fit + on form Wally or triple up ARS midfield?Open Controls-
I'd wait to see how Walcott is affected by Ozil first of all. A triple ARS midfield is certainly well worth some consideration if they hit the points trail.
Open Controls-
remember Wally of last season? Imagine if he's getting all the supply from world's best No. 10. i'd pick him in a heartbeat,
Open Controls

Forgot to add, that I prefer Walcott to Özil and that's why not so excited to get Özil at this point..

A. manuel P is delivering his promise, i.e attacking football.

good morning gents
what is the story with totalfpl? suddenly tons of players are minus 200% and many are to drop tonight. Have they changed anything in the way the count drops or just a temorary mistake of the site?
thankjsOpen Controls -
Team next week with potential transfers: (-4)
Boruc
Clyne Mertasacker M.Turner Coleman
Ozil Ramsey Barkley
Suarez(C) Aguero Sturridge
Bench : Nolan Kim Chester
The only thing that I am undecided about should I start Nolan over Mert??Open Controls-
it is a risk
if arsenal dont concede then likely mert will get bonus
if nolan plays more likely to get 2-3 pts so i would take my risk with mert even though it seems that man utd will scoreOpen Controls-
i agree.
but WHU is never convincing on away games (except for that 1 game at WHL, which i think will never happen again).
start mert imo.Open Controls
-
-
is Barkley no longer nailed on?
Open Controls -
Morning lads.
Open Controls-
You look different 🙂
Open Controls
-
-
I paid 7.1m for Ramsey.
Would just like to put that out there.Open Controls -
chelsea defenders or midfielders?
do u think is worth doubling on chelsea defense with terry -ivanovic (bonus magnets +goal threats) rather on having one of hazard/oscar that seem inconsistent as chelsea appears not to be a free scoring team like man city or arsenal?Open Controls -
I need to choose 2 to bench...
Migs
Coleman - Terry - Zaba - Baker
Ozil - Silva - Ramsey - Barkley - Janu
Rooney - Sturridge (c) - BentekeOpen Controls-
janu and baker
Open Controls
-
-
Mesut Ozil, the essential overpriced pick with bad fixtures and better alternatives 😉
Open Controls-
nah, i'd only get rid for a fit & firing Walcott.
Open Controls
-
-
bye-bye Michu. i brought you in when i WCed in GW6, and what did you give me?
2 2 3 3 2
another disappointment for me, just like Migs. adios.Open Controls -
Think I've talked myself into keeping Giroud and doing
Michu & Nolan -> Silva & Snodgrass this week (both for free).
Now have a bit of a benching headache - which 1 would you BENCH?
Clyne (HUL)
Toure (FUL)
Snodgrass (WHU)
Ramsey (mun)
Rest of team is:
Boruc (HUL)
Baines (cry), Terry (WBA)
Silva (sun), Mirallas (cry)
Suarez (FUL), Aguero (sun), Giroud (mun)
Davis, xxx, Ravel, WardOpen Controls-
tough call. maybe Kolo since they no longer keep CS. 😛
Open Controls-
Cheers. Which move do you think is best this week out of:
A) Nolan & Michu -> Silva & Snodgrass
B) Michu & Giroud -> Silva & Benteke
B) was the original plan, and means no benching headache, but I'm not sure losing Giroud is all that clever before SOT, car, HUL....Open Controls
-
-
Clyne and Ramsey as you have Boruc
Open Controls

Anyone here from Glasgow? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sSJ5PgUx0Zg
Open Controls-
I am. Fake I think. Or at least, if it's real I don't think it was in Glasgow. Haven't spoken to one person who was there and saw it or knows someone who was. Plus, the weather was horrendous here at the weekend.
Open Controls

Some discussion about midfield options today. Which midfielder can you see becoming a serious option for our teams that perhaps hasn't attracted much attention yet?
Open Controls-
Snoddy - stats are great, fixtures good, on pens, and only 5.9m....
Open Controls-
you're being optimistic. 😉
Open Controls
-
-
schurrle if he's finally nailed on
sess
gerrardOpen Controls-
I can't see Schurlle ever being nailed on with Hazard fighting for the same position, personally.
Open Controls-
you should know better.
but i hope Mour would play him more in PL & haz more in UCL, i like his potential.Open Controls
-
-
I think and hope Schurrle can be a real option. Even playing up front.
Open Controls -
Thought Gerrard would be, might now that Coutinho is back he won't get forward as much IMO
Open Controls-
peno duties, + never a big failure in FPL. only issue is when to get him in the team.
Open Controls
-
-
-
Coutinho.
------- Coutinho
Sturridge -- Suarez
As a front 3 looks to have devastating potential.Open Controls-
He's very tempting to bring in this week for Michu but I'd just feel like a mug doing it (due to the fact he was painful to own for the start of this season).
Open Controls
-
-
Maybe Nolan - stats look great on the weekend, decent fixtures, if I owned him I'd keep for now, definitely.
*looks at Jinswick*Open Controls-
-
🙂
Open Controls
-
-
PS, his stats have been awful for a while now (last week they were decent though)
Open Controls-
Fair enough, I haven't looked at his previous weeks stats, to be honest.
Every time I've watched him on MOTD he's always seemed to have a decent opp each game, though - strange that he hasn't produced the goods this season isn't it - must be a pain in the arse to own!Open Controls
-
-
-
Sessegnon, Cabaye, Snodgrass would be my guesses
Open Controls -
Was thinking Stevie G...
Maybe Cabaye for a punt...Open Controls-
Would it be a goid idea to bring in Cabaye for
Mirallas after this week?Open Controls
-
-
-
A week ago I though Stevie G... Not so much this week tho
Open Controls-
Doh reply fail
Open Controls

Hi guys, just after some dz advice.
I have played my wildcard and my team currently looks like this
Harper - Davis
Terry - Johnson - Nastacic - Turner - Mcshane
Silva - Coutinho - Ramsey - Morrison - JWP
Aguero - Rooney - Suarez
Nothing in the bank
Thoughts on this team please 🙂Open Controls-
Nastasic > Williams & Coutinho > Oscar would be my only changes here
Open Controls-
I like the sound of that. Williams over Taylor? Oscar over Hazard?
Open Controls-
Taylor may be dropped when Davies comes back, so I wouldn't risk him.
And about Chelsea midfielder, Oscar and Hazard are the obvious premium choices here and IMO there is not much between them, so me for example, I just went with the cheaper one.Open Controls
-
-
-
Nasty to Williams/Rat and use the cash to upgrade Davis to 4.5 GK (Harper fills in for injured Mcgregor)
Open Controls
-
-
-
Hmmm, the last 3 Premier League matches between Sunderland and City at the Stadium of Light have all ended with the same scoreline:
Sunderland 1-0 Man City
😯
(tears up all plans)Open Controls -
Morning everyone , did Wally finally dropped?
really hope that he will feature against UTD since i would love to get him in after this gwOpen Controls -
Week 12 is shaping up as one ugly game week for fixtures
Anyone else eyeing Remy for a 2 week spurt for as 3rd striker? Newcastles fixtures look like an oasis in a desert in weeks 12-13Open Controls -
WC team
Myhill(Lewis)
Shaw Dawson Terry (Baker, 3.9)
Ozil Ramsey Silva Januzaj(Ward Prowse)
Suarez ( C ) Aguero ( VC ) Lukaku
Does my team look balanced?Open Controls -
If found guilty, which he is, could Riether be out for this GW, with a ban?
If so Suarez (c) just keeps getting better and better.Open Controls -
Looks like Walcott will be back for Mufc though will probably start from the bench ....hmmm do I get him in for Michu now ? I've also got ozil
Open Controls-
I'm tempted, otherwise I'll be wasting two transfers on midfielders when I have my defence to sort out.

Champions League Preview
Matchday 4
Man City vs. CSKA Moskva- Prediction 3-0: City’s home form is irresistible and they should continue their delightful form against CSKA. Best options here are Aguero, Silva and Toure.
Punt-Kolarov
Real Sociead vs. Man. United- Prediction 1-2: Away form isn’t the best and they are conceding goals, however Rooney and Chicarito should be in for some goals/assist. RVP will most likely be rested.
Punt- Valencia
Juventus vs. Real Madrid- Prediction 1-2: Real Banged in 7 against a hapless Sevilla side on Thursday night. Look for more goals to come; I strongly suggest holding Ronaldo, however Isco has been benched in the past two UCL matches so look to move him on.
Punt- Tevez
København vs.Galatasaray- Prediction 0-1: This is a tough game to predict, I think Kobenhavn will be tough to break down at the back. So look for a tight game that could go either way. With 6 and 4 league goals respectively, Drogba and Sneijder are your best bets, however I would avoid with upcoming home and away ties with Juventus and Madrid.
Punt- Emmanuel Eboue
Paris Saint Germain vs. Anderlecht- Prediction 4-
How impressive was Zlatan in the away leg? Already earning plenty of suitors for the home leg he looks a great option, against the struggling Anderlecht who has struggled so far. However Blanc (PSG’s coach) has stated both his strikers Cavani and Ibra have thigh issues and as a result could be rested. http://au.eurosport.com/football/champions-league/2012-2013/psg-s-cavani-and-ibrahimovic-doubts-for-anderlecht-tie_sto3992833/story.shtml Keep an eye out on the squads. At the back Thiago Silva will make his return and Gregor Van Der Wiel’s runs down the flank will surely earn more attacking returns.
Punt-Lucas Moura
*Note Cavani is out and Ibrahimovic is fit.
Plzeň vs. Bayern- Prediction 1-5- It is all about the visitors for this game. Arjen Robben will again miss out with a groin problem. Toni Korros should be fit though and Jérôme Boateng is back after suspension. I think Muller will start up front and Ribery on the flank. Expect a thrashing with Plzen to sneak in a goal.
Punt-Mario Gotze- should start in place of Robben.
Shakhtar Donetsk vs. Leverkusen- Prediction-2-2: This game for me spells goals. The first leg resulted in a 4-0 win to Bayer, with Kiessling and Rolfes once again getting on the scoresheet look at these two as solid options again. However it is Leverkusen’s loss to Braunschweig, and Donestk’s 7-0 win on the weekend that has my eyeing out a couple of their assets. Douglas Costa (6.0) and Alex Teixeira (5.5), look great options in midfield, after both scored a brace at the weekend.
Punt-Luiz Adirano
Olympiacos vs. Benfica- Prediction 1-0
This game could go either away, if you fancy Olympiacos I’d look at Mitrogolou, otherwise Weiss is cheap at 4.0. Benfica’s defence has been good, they are undefeated in 5 league games. Luisao and Lazar Markovic are good options
Punt- Ola John
Zenit St Petersburg vs. Porto- Prediction 0-1: I think FC Porto will fight back and earn a tough win in the return leg for Zenit. However both teams have shown defensive resilience so look at Mangala and Lombaerts for Zenit.
Chelsea vs. Schalke- Prediction 3-1: Chelsea will look to cement the place in the 2nd round of the UCL with a home tie against a German Side in poor form. I expect Chelsea to score goals, however will likely concede 1 or to themselves. Can’t go past Oscar, Hazard, Schurle after midweek rest.
Punt- If your mad Torres.
Basel vs. Steaua- Prediction 2-0: Basel should get a comfortable result here; Marco Streller and Mohammad Salah are your best differentials here.
Punt- Federico Piovaccari could offer some value for the away side, he has 5 goals in the league and 3 goals in Champions league (including play offs)
Dortmund vs.Arsenal- Prediction 1-0: I think Arsenal will struggle against a secure Dortmund defence. The travel should play a part, along with a rotated side. Your best option from Dortmund is without a doubt Lewandoski.
Punt- Mats Hummels/Ramsey
Napoli vs. Marseille- Prediction 3-1: Marseille have really struggled in all competitions this year and have lost 5 out of their last 6. Napoli on the other hand are flying in Serie A currently 2nd, Hamsik is flourishing in the number 10 position and Higuian is in pretty good form to.
Punt-Jose Callejon
Atlético vs.Austria Wien- Prediction 4-0: Costa is in great form, along with David Villa, both should get starts and get points. At the back looks good for defensive returns with Austria Wien failing to find the scoresheet in the first 3 games, Juanfran and Filipe Luis are good options
Punt- Raul Garcia
Ajax vs. Celtic- Prediction 0-0- Don’t think either team are good investment with games against Milan and Barcelona to come.
Captain Options
Aguero/Ronaldo/Ibrahomvic>>>Oscar/ Turan/Texeira
Alaba/Van Der Wiel>>Lewandoski/Messi
Robben/Silva>> Hulk/Costa
Drogba >Mitroglou (if you enjoy a punt)Open Controls-
As always I will be answering questions below, post your team if you want or possible transfer/captaincy options.
Open Controls -
Will read later, cheers Hallucination.
Are you playing and what's your rank?Open Controls -
Really great read, thanks a lot. I'm currently in the top 5k and trying to keep the run going, anything you'd change here?
Artur (Helton)
Marquinhos, Alaba, Siovas (Juanfran, Uchida)
Draxler, Oscar, Weiss, Rolfes (Josue)
Ronaldo, Messi, Ibrahimovic (C)
Cheers.Open Controls -
Hi,
What would you think of?
Courtouis (Bravo)
Uchida, Mangala, Luisao, Alaba, Adriano
Hamsik, Weiss, Isco, Draxler, Ramsey
Ronaldo, Messi, Luiz Adriano
Possible Wildcard/Multiple transfers
Messi-> Ibrahimovic
Luiz Adriano -> Aguero
Adriano -> Juanfran
Ramsey-> Rolfes
Isco -> Thaigo Motta
What do you think? I would prefer to not trade out Draxler and Uchida because of their upcoming matches.
Also if WC not sure if I want to keep Hamsik, didn't impress me Fantasywise yet, what would you suggest?
Thanks a lot in advance!Open Controls-
Leave Messi> Ibrahimovic, Messi is due a bag and Ibra may start on the bench,
Like Luiz Adriano>Augero and Adirano> Juanfran, I would hold Ramsey his form is unbelievable and who is saying ti will stop now.
Keep Hamsik and Perhpas avoid moving Isco on to as the PSG lineup could be all over the place with the return of Pastore, a possible start for Lavezzi and Menez to,
In Summary moves 2 and 3 look goodOpen Controls-
Thanks a lot will have a look !
By the way , when do you think its best to play a wc?Open Controls-
GW 6, start to put players in your team who are going through to qualifying and also the deadline is at 8:30pm so you can see all the teams
Open Controls-
Just realised, after GW 6 you have unlimited transfers anyway, so wouldn't it be better GW5 , when the qualified teams start resting player or then after the quarter finals?

Was thinking about the Messi move for this week only, as there is no Russian home match this week I think I could be able to wait til the team lineups (bar a server crash).
How did you fare in the EL last round? I noticed they took away all transfers, but still managed to stay in the top 500.Open Controls-
I fell quite badly as I missed Ibra and captained RVP, was a stupid move in hindsight, will be going with Ribery this round, am curretnly 15,120. Have brought in Thiago Silva, Ribery and Costa.
Open Controls-
Actually I meant the Europa One 🙂
My CL is getting from bad to worse, Luiz Adriano has proved to be an utter failure so far and not having Ibrahimovic cost me as well, but I guess that goes for anyone who doesn't have him.Open Controls-
Yes that was rather strange I scored 58

Should I transfer Ben Davies and Rose out rather than waiting for them to return???
Quite tough GWs are coming for my defence, I have Rangel, Lovren, Curtis Davies, so need someone to rotate... I have decided to go with Aston and west brom defender, and bring a west brom GK in place of Szcezny to rotate with Boruc... What are ur thoughts???Open Controls
