Price dips are so fast nowadays. Michu may drop 0.4m in a space of a week, hard to catch your breath. Never been this brutal before, if you turn your eye for a week you've lost 0.4 of your real team value which can take months of planning to gather in the first place.

He started the GW at 8.9 having just dropped from 9.0 (which I bought him at). A week later he could be 8.6. I've sold but it's brutal the price changes. I think they fluctuate too much and makes us keen players garner a big advantage over semi casual players.

And it's been this brutal for 3 seasons now. Ever since overall number playing hit 2.5 m, FPL have been tweaking price threshold limits

Totally agree. Knowing Michu will drop 0.3m and Silva will raise 0.2m kind of forces a play knowing that that rise of TV of 0.5m if repeated consistently will bring you serious rewards later on in the season.

I can't afford any price increases for Oscar or drops for Michu. Value isn't normally a major deal to me to be honest, I just don't want to have to take a hit this GW.

I would say that the only reason to take that 12 point hit would be if you were just enjoying changing your team and not actually playing the game for points.
I dont think its worth losing Baines and Giroud anyway. It is highly unlikely that i would make up that point gap in the next gameweek anyway. Think i'll save.

Questions:
(1) If I bring Silva in then I will have both Aguero & Silva. Is having both a good move or should I just stick with Aguero. I was originally going to bring Oscar in but having second thoughts due to the Newcastle result. Was this just a one-off bad day or a cause for concern?
(2) I watched the Fulham game & Kasami seems to get a lot of accutate/powerful shots away. I'm keen on selling Siggy this week & would Kasami be a good replacement as 15th man. Next week I'm selling Lallana & thinking of buying Cabaye or Schurrle.

It's just this one game vs Palace that I'd want Lukaku for, but of course you definitely need Kun. And medium term I think all of the others are better prospects than Lukaku, so probably best to get rid and hope he doesn't cause too much damage this week.

The importance of captains
Fair to say i have had a terrible season and have never until now been happy with my team. Feel very lucky to be placed around 33,000. Have just looked through the gameweeks at captains , was very suprised to see how well i have done on them . Only one fail in ten weeks/
How do you all compare? I have a feeling if captains didnt get double points i would be much further down the rankings has have been saved week after week

Should i get Giroud out for Benteke for a hit? Villa has great fixtures, Arsenal don't. Plus i got Ozil and Ramsay
I got rid of Giroud last week for that very reason. Triple Arsenal and triple Everton was too much so I replaced Giroud and Lukaku with Aguero and Benteke. The latter didn't fare too well but he shuld start showing returns again given their fixtures.
