I'm not thinking of it, but there's no reason not to. You don't want to have two defenders from a lower-half side (or any side most of the time), but goalkeepers do not rotate with defenders, so having a keeper and a defender is not a problem. Palace has been solid at the back, though personally I would save the money and play Howard every week.
