We roll out another instalment of our new weekly article for Members this evening, offering an in-depth statistical analysis of the main captaincy contenders for the Gameweek ahead. Each of the top four supply us with a player apiece this time out as we crunch the numbers to determine whether there really is an alternative to a certain Uruguayan for the armband:

Has Flannars nailed down the LB until JE returns? I want to double on Pool defence for this week only then swap GJ for Jags Distan or Coleman the following.

      It certainly looks like it.

I don't know why you'd want to go for him, though, when Liverpool aren't keeping cleanies at the moment...

It has already ended in tears for me. Doubled up on Migs/Flan for last 2 GW.

The late Norwich goal was a sickener.

Repost. Sorry stuck at the bottom

Already taken a hit to bring in Ward & Hazard. 0.9 ITB. Leave it like that and hope Vlaar makes it? Could be messy this week.

Any thoughts on transfers going forward. Fixtures for my defence look shocking for GW16. Looking to bring in Distin for one of Clyne or Vlaar if they are out for a bit or even Mert!

    Panty
    B.Turner Ward Mert Vlaar
    Ozil Hazard Ramsey Brady (ugh)

How does this team look guys? Unsure on sub order
    McGregor
    Clichy - Terry - Koscielny
    Januzaj - Gerrard - Ramsey - Yaya
    Suarez (C) - Remy - Aguero

Bench: Coleman - Clyne - Ravel

Thinking of using my FT to do Januzaj --> Bannan/Brunt?

Morning guys. I've got 2 FTs and 2.2M in the bank so seemingly endless opportunities.

    Mignolet
    Mertesacker Terry Evans
    Ramsey Sessegnon Hazard Bannan
    Suárez Agüero Remy

    Subs: Gazzaniga Morrison BTurner Vlaar

However, I'm thinking I'll just go Vlaar -> Gabbidon and pocket the spare FT. Or should I use the spare FT for Remy -> Lukaku THIS GW instead of next? I keep thinking Remy has the better fixture...

No update on him, hoping for a presser today. However even if he's just out one GW it's a risk to keep him (could all of a sudden be out longer), and since I've got 2 FTs and not much to do it seems a good move.

What about Remy -> Lukaku? I got cash in the bank so no problem waiting, like I said keep thinking he has the better fixture, Arsenal's defense has been immense.

It's a tricky one. I'd like Lukaku over Remy, obviously as well, but I think Vlaar out is more of a priority transfer. Remy vs Lukaku this week is fairly even and, as you say, Remy's probably got the slight edge over him this week anyway. Vlaar -> Palce def looks good, bud. Moxey's only £4.0m, by the way...

Yeh exactly. Really need Baker to start as my bench is JWP, Ravel, Rooney.

Praying for CRY vs CAR 0-0

    Townsend ---> Sess

    Sounds good?

    My midfield is Ramsey/Yaya/Lallana/Townsend/Barkley.

    By next week, it'll be:

    Ramsey/Yaya/Lallana/Sess/Ravel.

Was planning to switch Rooney to Lukaku next GW, but looking at fixtures and likelihood of rotation, I'm thinking of dropping Aguero instead - crazy talk or good idea?
