With Wayne Rooney suspended and Robin Van Persie still a doubt for United’s home game with Newcastle, Paddy Power have delivered yet another tempting offer for new customers. Our bookmaker friends are offering improved odds of 6/1 on Javier Hernandez to score anytime against the Magpies in tomorrow lunchtime’s Old Trafford encounter:

When you consider that the regular odds of the Mexican netting over the 90 minutes are a mere 11/10, it’s pretty obvious this is great deal for those yet to sign up with Paddy. If you don’t have an account and fancy a piece of the action, click here to join up and take advantage of the offer.

To clarify, the Hernandez enhanced odds specials are limited to a £10 stake, open to new Paddy Power customers only and subject to the terms and conditions specified.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

Hi guys, been toying with a few transfers but thinking of holding...

Can you see any obvious transfers? (Currently a 0-0 in the Palace vs Cardiff match is needed!)

    Speroni
    Terry - Evans - Johnson - Gabbidon - Burner
    Coutinho - Nasri - Ramsey
    Aguero - Suarez

    Marshall - JWP - (Rooney - Ravel)

The ultimate blackjack question.....stick or twist?

Looks good but if anyone is rotated, you're in a bad position. I assume almost all players are this week so upto you if you want to take the hit.

It would be for a free. I have £0.4m on the bank. One option is Ravel to Redmond.

Should I swap RVP for Hernandez this week for a -4 and captain him? (I will bring back RVP as soon as he begins to play, even next week if that is the case). Team is:

    Marshall
    Ward Coleman Terry
    Ramsey Ozil Januzaj Redmond
    Aguero RVP(C) Suarez(VC)

    xx Ravel Mbiwa Clyne

Also will we see United lineups before the deadline closes? Cheers for any help that is provided.

No. Not for a hit. He is only a 1 week punt which would involve a hit and 2 transfers. I really don't like the sound of that (especially with United's form)

Zabs - Terry - Merte - Ward (Chester)
Gerrard - Ramsey, Whittingham (Nolan, Cabaye)
    Suarez, Aguero, Lukaku
    2FT, 2.1m ITB
Doing Nolan > Redmond for sure

A: Save the FT and ride out these tough fixtures?
B: Make 2-3 trades for a stronger midfield?

I played a friendly on fifa 14 Holland vs. Spain and with me being the Oranje. So I go up 1-0 with an RVP header but then cesc equalizes and then low and behold 85th minute Iniesta pokes one in and I lose 2-1 thanks to Iniesta I do not have a good feeling for that game come June.

Some peeps around here have offered the opinion that doubling up on defenders from same team is a bad idea. If you look at the Defenders list on FPL, it seems to say differently. Coleman and Jagielka top the list, so there is a double up right there, and Baines and Distin aren't far off the top, so you could've even tripled up there. Other examples of good double team defenders: Vertonghen and Walker - - Lovren and Fonte. As long as you pick a good pair, it's pretty optimal stuff. - - Just trying to share some insight to chomp on.

It doesn't work like that though. You have 5 defenders, and potentially you could rotate each week and get clean sheets for every defender you play. But, when you start to double up or even triple up, it becomes harder to maximise your 100% clean sheets, as if one fails so does the other. Also of you were to bench one or both for a tough fixture, then that takes up room on your bench for other players who may have a tough fixture.

I have a slightly different take on doubling. For me Palace and Cardiff offer perfect doubling up rotation options. My keepers are Speroni and Mawand my 4th and 5th defenders are Gabbidon and burner. This way i have the option to double up each week, save cash and have the security of a great fixture.

On a different note I think Howards stats are skewed by a goal and penalty save

To Hazard yeah, two good fixtures coming up, could easily pay you back. Also, if you don't have Lukaku, then a Hazard captain in GW16 could be immense!!

Here's my reasonings for not getting Walcott.

          1) He's not even starting yet.
          2) Even if he does start, will he pick up form straight away? I doubt it.
          3) When he does start will Wenger maximise his rotation in midfield, thus reducing Walcott's game time overall.
          4) There's in form mids firing at the minute.

I think that Walcott's type of injury is fairly highly prone to reoccurrence throughout the rest of the season.

really tough one TW....what is your starting XI?

Look at it as a 2 week punt. if anything Theo > Haz

Walcott - EVE/mci (he also has not trained this week due to illness)
      Haz - sto/CPL

I don't understand what he has shown that would make you keep Wally (I know last year was different, but you could say the same about RVP and last year and nobody argues that you should keep an injured expensive RVP just because of what he did last season)

    Begovic (McGregor)
    Mertesacker Gabbidon Evra (Baker, Senderos)
