A number of midfielders are placed under the spotlight, with Arsenal, City, Chelsea and Liverpool all serving up some strong statistics. The performance of United’s frontmen at Villa and Tottenham’s inability to find the net under the now-departed Andre Boas-Villa also come under analysis as we delve into the data.

Just hope that Everton keep a lot of CS till Aguero is back... thereby increasing Jagielka's price to an all time high... then it will be easy to downgrade him and upgrade Negredo to Aguero easily...
Open Controls -
I think I'm going to have 10 players in my team rising in price this week 😯
Open Controls -
Which 3 of these defenders would you play this week?
Terry (ars). Gabbidon (new) baker (STK). Distin(SWA)Open Controls -
A> Silva
B> WallyOpen Controls -
I think uber defense is the way I'm heading in the January wildcard.
Big teams are not keeping enough clean sheets to justify their price and cs are getting too hard to predict anyway. This along with the premium mids hitting their stride!Open Controls -
Forum still ignoring yaya ?
Open Controls-
Who you replace Aguero with?
Open Controls -
Some have decided to go full casual. Using the excuse that he is on penalties now to mask their embarrassment.
Open Controls-
Second only to Ramsey's points in midfield...do you hate all good mids?
Open Controls

Can't say.
Open Controls

Aguero -> Lukaku, done!
Thank goodness for that..Open Controls-
hurrahh
Open Controls -

He's due a big haul of goals and if not, he's so large that almost every cross manages to hit some part of his body and cause an assist. Good choice.

My team is this
Vorm Marshall
Terry, GJ, Coleman, Burner Vlaar
Wally, Hazard, Ozil, Rav, Brady
Suarez, Lukaku Remy
Have 2 FTs and want to do Remy -> Negredo & Vlaar -> Chester tonight but need to do one more to afford it. Should my hit be Brady-> Bannan/Redmond or Vorm -> McGregor/Speroni??
Any ideas??Open Controls -
Already asked this, but I will ask just one last time, as its a really tough decision for me, and needs to be made soon! Pick one out of:
A) Silva & Lukaku
B) walcott & Negredo
Thanks a lot lads, I appreciate all the help 🙂Open Controls-
A

this week A, medium term B
Open Controls-
scratch that and reverse it

I've gone with A, very tough call though.
Open Controls -
A
Open Controls -
very tough call. i would think B. walcott will score more goals than silva and reckon negredo will outscore lukaku. i have three of these and want d 4 of them though so there is very little between them

So how many points can I expect from:
Krul (Marshall)
Coleman Jagielka Flanagan (Ward Chester)
Silva Hazard Ramsey Ozil (Morrison)
Negredo Suarez(c) LukakuOpen Controls -
I just did
Mertesacker, Ravel, Aguero >
Turner, Silva, Rooney
8pt hit

Who need to go for Silva?
A) RavMo
B) Shelvey
C) Fer
Team: http://i.imgur.com/Z3HDnlb.jpgOpen Controls-
probably shelvey as hes a less prominent force in attack now michu and pals are back from injury, plus swans fixtures dont look great, whereas fer n ravmo have a few gooduns

shelvey wil surely play deeper now michu is back, he should be the one. keep ravmo
Open Controls -
Thanks guys. Shelvey need to go!!

In case anyone cares I have decided to revert to my original FFS grav from last year, having flirted with a no nonsense man in a hat (I feel Keith has that covered) and a Solomon Island warrior.
I feel the depiction of myself as a depressed android with the brain the size of the planet better depicts my sparkling charisma and infinite wisdom.
Thanks for listening.Open Controls -

Ok, so i had plenty of time to make this call when I was thinking about it yesterday, but now its a little close to the price rise deadline, and I need to make a decision on Aguero.
A) Aguero to Rooney
B) Aguero to Negredo
C) Aguero + Sess to Negredo and Walcott (-4)
D) Aguero, Bannan, Terry to Rooney, Walcott, Chester (-8)
A+B involve playing Sess at home to Hull rather than a hit to bring in Walcott home to Chelsea. And last minute thoughts?Open Controls-
A or B....... the -4s can wait a bit longer
Open Controls -
Just b, get Walcott next week unless u are worried about price rise
Open Controls

Made the tough decision of bringing Lukaku in for Aguero, and RavMo out for Silva (4 point hit). Not sure how I feel about it right now, but Im sure I'll know at the weekend!! 🙂
Thanks for all the help lads, lets hope it works out!Open Controls-
and i made...
Shelvey ----> Silva
Aguero----> Lukaku

The 1 million dollar question..
Negredo or Lukaku to accompany Suarez, Rooney
I'd prefer Negredo but maybe Lukaku makes more sense as part of a broader updgrade
Walcott, Lallana, Mutch, Morrrison, Bannan, (Yep i def need upgrading here too)
2.3m in the account but just 1ft..
In my case am I better off getting in the Luk and upgrading of the mids to a Yaya or Silva/Nasri??Open Controls-
Nasri isn't an up grade.

Jags, Distin, Ward (Per, Burner)
Walcott, Ramsey, Yaya, Silva (Ravel)
Rooney, Lukaku, Suarez (C)
Fells good! 🙂Open Controls-

Was Sakho just out with an injury?
Open Controls-
Looks like the speculation was true about Rodgers not comfortable having 2 Left sided CB's in defence. Don't think he's started Sakho with Agger in a back four once this season.
Sakho has apparently been in excellent form too which helps. Was dropped previously i think, and not 100% fit recently.
Rumours that Agger is off to Napoli on loan in Jan: http://www.theguardian.com/football/2013/dec/16/napoli-liverpool-daniel-agger-rafael-benitez
Would make Sakho such a good pick with the Jan wildcard.Open Controls-
yep... AB wont be please, 1st name on his teamsheet 😉
Open Controls -
Rodgers also tried to right footed CBs recently, in Skrtel and Toure vs Hull. That went badly, and Skrtel looked very uncomfortable being asked to play as a left sided centre half, and I don't expect to see it again unless injuries bite hard.
I can't quite see Agger being allowed to leave on loan, it would reduce his value if a sale was considered in the summer, but I agree, if he went then Sakho would be nailed on.
Sakho has got better and better as the season has gone on, while Skrtel has played well and so hasn't been dropped, meaning Agger has found it hard to get into the team. There will definitely be rotation though, we won't see any Arsenal-like consistency in the CB pairing.Open Controls
-
-
Cheers. Interesting. Rodgers very keen on having all his piece puzzled perfectly together. Probably a good thing. Sakho noted for Jan WC, although they almost exclusively keep their sheets clean versus broken teams. 4 of 5 have come versus United, Spurs, Fulham and Sparky's first game in charge of Stoke.

Team for next week. I need a good week to lift my fpl spirit...
Howard
Coleman, McAuley, Collocinni
Hazard, Ramsey, Silva, Coutinho
Suarez, Remy, Lukaku
Williams, Dawson, MorrissonOpen Controls -
LOL chelsea just bought another center mid.
guarin on inter. he's alright but inconsistentOpen Controls-
Is he going to Chelsea? I thought United and Arsenal were more interested in him
Open Controls-
Chelsea's tactic now is to buy all their rival's midfield targets, denying them the opportunity to build proper midfields. It's Papin to Milan all over again - on repeat.

Everyone on this site should have a working SMOKE ALARM in their household especially at Xmas time.
More families die at this time of year because of extra lights/faulty lights candles etc etc......
So sad but a true fact. Make sure you have a working SMOKE ALARM in your home at this time of year because if you haven't......I am sorry to tell you this but you are a DICKHEAD.
FOOKING WAKE UP.
.Open Controls-
They won't wake up if they die of smoke inhalation in the night 😉
And if you have a smoke alarm make sure you test it regularly. I check mine by accidentally burning things in the kitchen until the smoke alarm reminds me I need to go check on itOpen Controls-
I'm on one. I won't let it go.

Which do you prefer?
A - Aguero & Brady > Negredo & Silva (-4)
B - Aguero, Ozil & Brady > Rooney, Walcott & Silva (-8)
C - Aguero, Ozil & Brady > Rooney, Walcott & Yaya (-8)
Marshall
Mert Jags Ward (Murner Burner)
Ozil Hazard Ramsey Brady Redmond
Suarez Lukaku (Aguero)
ThanksOpen Controls-
A - Not that keen on Rooney after he played a deeper role against Villa over the weekend. Plus an 8 point hit really should be avoided.
Open Controls -
A). Hold fire on Rooney. If he keeps playing deep like last weekend, I shall be looking to move him on. Good for the team, Naaf all use for FF.
Open Controls -
Hi Zep, long time no see.
I just did Aguero, Paulinho and Ozil > Rooney, Wally and Silva. I'm very unhappy about the hit but the first two had to go and Ozil was the sale that made it possible. Waiting a week would have made it unaffordable so I decided to bite the bullet....hopefully it will work out.Open Controls

Curse Man City's ill-timed midweek fixture! Really want to throw Silva and Negredo into my FF team mix before their respective price rises, but I seem to have actually developed a hint of patience.
Open Controls -
REMY: advice pls. thx
1--Keep Remy (ag cry) and no Hit
2--Hit -4 Remy > Lukaku (ag swa)
2--hit -4 Remy > Negredo (ag ful)
*Already did FT Kun > Wazza
Migs - Boruc
Terry - Williams - Ward - Clyne - Baker
Haz - Ramsey - Silva - Ravel - Colbak
Suarez - Rooney - Remy
4.8 ITB
***was planning next gw to upgrade either Ravel or Colbak to Wally (after wally's che gw) ;
but maybe Lukaku or Negredo could be a better move 1st to switch from Remy. what to think?Open Controls -
Hi All,
With 2FTs this GW, is it worth completing Mertesacker, A.Williams & Sessegnon > Chester, Gabbidon & Silva for a -4pt hit?
Resultant team:
Ruddy
G.Johnson Gabbidon M.Wilson
Ramsey Ozil Hazard Silva
Rooney(vc) Suarez(c) Lukaku
Vorm Pozuelo Clyne ChesterOpen Controls
