Yes, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, which normally finds us two unwise men camped in the studio clutching presents and forlorn hopes of a festive points bonanza. This year, Granville and I appear sans gifts but with familiar Fantasy aspirations ahead of the punishing holiday schedule.

My Christmas spirit is at least buoyed by the fact that I’ve wiped the indignity of a three-figure mini-league gap between myself and my co-host, although Granville still seems to be in pipe and slippers mode. He’s all set to camp himself in front of the Two Ronnies repeats, safe in the knowledge that he’s got this season wrapped up. I just wonder.

Granville battles complacency to join me while we sift through the ScoutCast regulars and find time to pray at the altar of Luis Suarez. The most effective Fantasy Footballer ever? Much it pains some to admit it, the case for the defence is looking flimsy.

A response from FPL to Thomas cheating by having 2 teams.......

Hi XXXX,

Thanks for your e-mail and apologies for the delayed response.

After looking into this there appears to be sufficient evidence that these teams are shared by the same player. We have deleted this player's older team and sent them a cautionary e-mail.

    It is if it's Thomas who had 2 teams. The rules are pretty clear and when somebody has multiple teams and posts about how well they have done (when they have multiple teams) they lose all credibility.

  Its a nice variation of the game and i tend to be non-obsessive about it. Well recommended as long as you don't go nuts with big wagers, IMO.
  
  Started with a tenner, normally have my bank between 15-20 over the past few GWs. Stick to challenging Fowler, Dicks and Ferdinand to begin with.

  I think it's a good thing.
  
  If you take FPL seriously and believe in fair competition, you should only have one team.
  
  I had a mate who used his "girlfriends team" a couple of seasons ago and ended up in the top 1% because he made moves he wouldn't have otherwise.
  
  It's pretty crappy to do it and then have another more conservative team that is closer to what the player would do if he only had one team. It doesn't reflect the FPL player's real standard
