Yes, itโ€™s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, which normally finds us two unwise men camped in the studio clutching presents and forlorn hopes of a festive points bonanza. This year, Granville and I appear sans gifts but with familiar Fantasy aspirations ahead of the punishing holiday schedule.

My Christmas spirit is at least buoyed by the fact that Iโ€™ve wiped the indignity of a three-figure mini-league gap between myself and my co-host, although Granville still seems to be in pipe and slippers mode. Heโ€™s all set to camp himself in front of the Two Ronnies repeats, safe in the knowledge that heโ€™s got this season wrapped up. I just wonder.

Granville battles complacency to join me while we sift through the ScoutCast regulars and find time to pray at the altar of Luis Suarez. The most effective Fantasy Footballer ever? Much it pains some to admit it, the case for the defence is looking flimsy.

Unwrap this aural gift via this link, or sample our yuletide yodeling via the handy player belowโ€ฆ

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I want to get an Arsenal defender next week, have 5.4M and for some reasons most of them are exact 5.4M! So who to pick:

    A) Sagna
    B) Vermaelen
    C) Gibbs
    D) Koscielny

    All 5.4M LOL

      Any news on Clyne?

Other than Cabral (how on earth have you still got him) and Clyne your squad in good shape going into christmas.

For that reason, unless we hear for sure Rooney out, I would probably try and limp through this GW and fix Cabral next week no hit.

What are your thoughts on keeping him or shifting him, given the fact that more reports seem to have him as a major doubt for the game, e.g. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/players/wayne-rooney/10529285/Manchester-United-v-West-Ham-Wayne-Rooney-losing-battle-to-be-fit.html

I think his behaviour in running a football club in terms of both football and business sides is a frown upon. You cannot change club's name however and whenever you want. You've got to respect the traditions.

    Manchester united defenders:

    Most nailed one: Evra
Most attacking potential: Rafael (and Evra for 0.4m more)
    Budget friendly: Evans

I went with Evra in the end ๐Ÿ™‚

Bacuna has been terrible the last few games and at fault for many goals. Lowton appears to have got his place back for a few weeks even if it's by default.

Depends on how long if one match keep if longer then it might be worth considering...

Wait til the pressers today, as someone mentioned Moyes being vague would probably mean he is fit

In a certain way, if Rooney ends up playing and people thought he won't, he could even be a nice differential this week. I think he is worth the risk.

In any case this is the period of the year you need squad depth , just in case

Surprisingly good attack and midfield, generally I find it a good team, Foster has already played a training match so Myhill might end up not starting, however your backup is good.

      Really good team, good luck!

I have played this year pretty well so far mate. Almost 110m tv and hovering around 50k (since i captained Lukaku and not suarez...woulda been top 15-20k if had done).

Krul has decent fixtures...i think. Happy with Krul as no.1 for now. Will get Howard in if that is the essential keeper going forward.

        Thanks pal.

Sounds really good, I have a similar TV and only 50k off you( same captain issue, in my case Rooney over Suarez).

I agree on Krul, I went the Howard way but analyzing Williamson as a possible Newcastle defender option.

Good luck, with that team you should go only upwards ๐Ÿ™‚
